Inchmurrin 12y is a Scottish Highland single malt matured in bourbon barrels and bottled at 46%. Its character is built around a lighter, more nuanced style rather than heavy wood influence or smoky intensity.
The profile points towards gentle floral notes, fruit and a touch of spice, with peat, saltiness and pronounced oak staying out of the spotlight. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of single malt we would introduce to someone looking for a Highland whisky with clarity and finesse rather than weight or smoke.
The 12-year age statement gives it maturity, while the bourbon barrel maturation keeps the presentation clean and approachable in style. It is a whisky that speaks quietly, with enough strength in the glass to remain expressive.
