Inglenook Blancaneaux 2019 is a white wine from Rutherford in Napa Valley, shaped as a white Rhône-style blend. Inglenook has produced Blancaneaux since 1999 as the white counterpart to Rubicon, and that context says a lot about its ambition: this is a carefully composed wine built around Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne.
The fruit comes from estate vineyards, specifically the Apple and Saddle vineyards. These sites receive morning sun and benefit from afternoon cooling in the shadow of Mount St. John. That detail helps explain the wine's combination of aromatic ripeness and freshness.
Marsanne and Roussanne are described by Inglenook as bringing body and minerality, while Viognier adds aromatic lift and tropical fruit. Eight months of lees ageing, (…)Inglenook Blancaneaux 2020

Inglenook Blancaneaux 2020

Inglenook Blancaneaux 2020 is a still white wine from Rutherford in Napa Valley, made in a white Rhône-inspired style. The blend brings together estate-grown Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne from the Apple and Saddle vineyards. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle with a very clear identity: Californian in origin, but built around Rhône varieties and a carefully composed estate blend.
Blancaneaux has been produced since 1999 as the white counterpart to Rubicon, Inglenook's leading red wine. For the 2020 vintage, the blend is 36% Viognier, 33% Marsanne and 31% Roussanne. Inglenook describes Marsanne and Roussanne as bringing body and minerality, while Viognier supports the aromatic side with tropical fruit. The vineyard blocks receive morning sun and (…)Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
In stock
Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is a dry red wine from Rutherford in Napa Valley, made from estate-grown fruit at Inglenook. Cabernet Sauvignon is firmly at the centre of the blend, accounting for 95%, with small proportions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot completing the wine. The fruit comes from organically farmed parcels on the Inglenook Estate, including Chateau, Cohn, Creek, Gate, Gio, La Lomita, Lower Cask, Red Barn and Walnut.
There is a strong sense of estate history behind this bottle. Inglenook presents this Cabernet Sauvignon as a tribute to John Daniel Jr., linked to the renowned Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 1941, and to the Bordeaux cuttings brought to the estate by founder Gustave Niebaum. That context gives the wine more than just varietal (…)Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
In stock
Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is the estate Cabernet Sauvignon from Inglenook in Rutherford, Napa Valley. It is not the Rubicon cuvée, but a wine built around the estate's own Cabernet identity. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, sourced from nine separate vineyard blocks on the Inglenook Estate.
The 2019 growing season began with a wet winter and a cool spring, followed by warmer conditions in August and September. That allowed the different blocks to ripen gradually and be picked in sequence, from Cabernet Franc in Gate through to Cabernet Sauvignon in Red Barn. It gives the wine a clear estate-driven foundation while keeping the focus firmly on Rutherford Cabernet.
After 19 months in French oak, (…)Inglenook Rubicon 2018

Inglenook Rubicon 2018
On request only
Inglenook Rubicon 2018 is the flagship red wine of Inglenook from Rutherford in Napa Valley. Produced since 1978, Rubicon represents the estate's Bordeaux-inspired blend, led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small proportion of Petit Verdot.
The fruit comes from several Inglenook estate blocks, including Apple, Bridge, Cask, Cohn, Creek, Gio, Lower Garden and Walnut. That makes Rubicon a broader expression of the estate rather than a wine built around one single vineyard section. It spent 18 months in French oak before being bottled in June 2020.
For 2018, Inglenook describes a season of moderate warmth and gradual ripening, particularly beneficial for Cabernet Sauvignon and the other red Bordeaux varieties. The result is presented as a (…)Inglenook Rubicon 2018 Magnum (1,5l)

Inglenook Rubicon 2018 Magnum (1,5l)
On request only
Inglenook Rubicon 2018 is a serious red wine from Rutherford in Napa Valley, offered here in a 1.5 litre magnum. Rubicon is the estate's principal red wine, made as a Bordeaux-style blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small share of Petit Verdot.
For Inglenook, 2018 was a generous and even vintage, shaped by moderate warmth and gradual ripening. That matters in a wine like this: the depth and structure are there, but the blend also keeps a sense of freshness and elegance. Eighteen months in French oak, much of it new, adds spice, polish and support to the dark-fruited core.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a Napa Valley red with stature, ageing potential and real (…)Inglenook Rubicon 2019 Dubbele Magnum (3l)

Inglenook Rubicon 2019 Dubbele Magnum (3l)
On request only
Inglenook Rubicon 2019 is a serious red wine from Rutherford in Napa Valley, made in a Bordeaux-inspired style with Cabernet Sauvignon at the centre of the blend. Rubicon is Inglenook's flagship red cuvée, first produced in 1978, and is built to reflect the estate through selected vineyard blocks.
The 2019 growing season brought gradual, even ripening, with the harvest for Rubicon spread over 36 days. Cabernet Sauvignon is joined by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, followed by 20 months of maturation in French oak, a large proportion of it new. That context helps explain the wine's described depth, structure and concentration.
In this 3-litre double magnum, Rubicon takes on an extra sense of occasion. It is the kind of bottle that belongs at a (…)
