The Lost Explorer Reposado is built around agave first. Made from 100% blue Weber agave and produced in small batches in Amatitán, in the volcanic soils of Jalisco, it is guided by Maestro Tequilero Enrique de Colsa.
The production has a patient, traditional rhythm. The agaves are harvested only once fully mature, after 6 to 7 years of growth, then slowly cooked for 48 to 60 hours in traditional stone ovens before being pressed, fermented and double distilled in small batches. The Lost Explorer works without additives, using only agave, water and yeast.
