Product info about Frapin 1989

Frapin 1989 is a French cognac with a name that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on Frapin and on the year 1989. There is no elaborate wording here, just a clear reference to house, origin and date.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a cognac like this stands out because of that direct identity. Rather than presenting itself through a broad blend name, it places the year at the centre and is bottled at 40.3% alcohol, a slightly more precise strength than many standard releases.

As no further product background or tasting notes have been provided, the description remains deliberately restrained. What can be said with certainty is that Frapin 1989 is a French cognac from Frapin, defined above all by the year displayed in its name.

No specific tasting notes have been supplied for Frapin 1989. For that reason, we do not describe aromas, flavours, texture or finish that are not present in the available data.

The confirmed reference points for tasting are its cognac category, French origin, the Frapin name, the 1989 designation and its 40.3% alcohol strength.

About FRAPIN

Frapin is a cognac house from the French region of Grande Champagne, the area that is regarded as the beating heart of the Cognac region. The Frapin family has been established in this region since the 13th century and initially made a name for themselves as winegrowers before fully dedicating themselves to cognac. All Frapin cognacs are made from grapes sourced exclusively from their own estate, allowing the brand to call itself a so-called single estate cognac. The family owns approximately 240 hectares of vineyards around the village of Segonzac. Through this long-standing, direct control over the entire production process, Frapin has managed to develop a consistent signature, featuring elegant, fruity, and floral cognac styles, typical of the chalky soil in Grande Champagne. The cognacs from the house are often aged longer than legally required, which contributes to the refined smoothness and complex flavor development for which Frapin is appreciated. The assortment includes expressions from young VSOP to more exclusive vintage cuvees. The long history and focus on quality have given Frapin a solid reputation among enthusiasts worldwide, without the house excessively focusing on large-scale production.
