Daniel Bouju is an artisanal cognac house from the French village of Saint-Preuil, located in the heart of Grande Champagne, the most esteemed cru area within the Cognac region. The house has a family history that spans several generations, with the craftsmanship of distillation and aging being passed on. Daniel Bouju produces its cognacs entirely independently, from grape cultivation to bottling, with everything taking place on the family estate itself. The vines used are located exclusively in Grande Champagne, which ensures that their cognacs display the specific character of this premier cru region: elegance, finesse, and a refined complexity, partly acquired through the often lengthy aging process in French oak barrels.
