Prunier is located in the center of Cognac and is known as an independent family business, now led by the fifth generation. The current owners continue the traditional craftsmanship and focus primarily on creating blends and selecting special cognacs, often from smaller vineyards in the region. The emphasis is on authenticity and a classic approach to production, with long maturation in oak casks in centuries-old cellars, resulting in rich and nuanced cognacs. Prunier`s range includes both young blends and older, vintage-dated single vintage cognacs, which can sometimes be surprisingly outspoken in flavor. For enthusiasts, Prunier is particularly interesting because of their willingness to release old stocks in limited editions, with great attention paid to the origin and character of each batch.
