Carillon d'Angelus 2022 is a red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from Ch Angelus, made as a cuvée with its own identity within the estate. Introduced with the 1987 vintage, Carillon is based on dedicated Saint-Emilion vineyard selections rather than being presented simply as a leftover selection from the grand vin.The 2022 season was warm and dry, yet the vintage information repeatedly points to freshness, energy and tension in the finished wine. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, giving Merlot the leading role while Cabernet Franc brings spicy, floral and fresh accents.
