Château Quintus 2022 Demi is the grand vin of Château Quintus from Saint-Émilion, presented here in a 37.5 cl half bottle. It is a useful format when you want to open a serious Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle, while the wine itself remains the same Château Quintus 2022.The 2022 vintage is an important one for the estate. Harvest took place from 7 to 28 September, the earliest since the property was established in 2011. In a warm, dry year, the clay-limestone soils helped retain freshness, and the estate worked with careful selection within individual parcels before assembling the final wine through blind tasting.
The blend is 58.5% merlot and 41.5% cabernet franc. That high proportion of cabernet franc is significant: Château Quintus links it to freshness and structure, while the merlot brings the riper, fleshier side of the wine. Maturation included 38.9% new barriques, adding depth without making oak the central point of the wine.

About CH QUINTUS
Ch Quintus is a winery from France that is part of the renowned Saint-Émilion region in Bordeaux. The winery was added to the portfolio of Domaines Clarence Dillon in 2011, which is also the owner of the prestigious Château Haut-Brion and Château La Mission Haut-Brion. Ch Quintus was created from the merger of two former estates: Château Tertre Daugay and Château L´Arrosée, after which a third vineyard, Château Grand-Pontet, was later added to the estate. This merger resulted in a vineyard of approximately 45 hectares on a selection of limestone plateaus and slopes, typical of Saint-Émilion. The wine production focuses mainly on blends of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, characteristic for the region, with attention to precision and expression of the terroir. Ch Quintus aims to showcase the unique character of each vintage and the special microclimate of their vineyards in their wines. With limited editions and a modern approach, combined with respect for tradition, Ch Quintus offers a contemporary perspective on what the Saint-Émilion terroirs have to offer.
