Glenglassaugh 15y Incl. Box

Glenglassaugh 15 Year Old sits at a meaningful point in the distillery's modern story. Founded in 1875 on the Moray Firth coast, Glenglassaugh remained silent for more than two decades before being revived in 2008. This 15-year-old release shows a more mature and layered side of that renewed identity.
Maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and Spanish wine casks gives the whisky its darker, generous tones of chocolate, caramel and dried fruit. What keeps it especially interesting is the coastal thread running underneath: a discreet iodine note and gentle saltiness that bring definition to the richness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of single malt we enjoy presenting to customers who want depth and cask influence without peat smoke.

Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar Incl. Box
In stock
Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar is an Australian single malt with a very direct sense of place and cask. Drawn from one individual cask and bottled at cask strength, it carries its 54.8% ABV with the kind of presence you expect from a whisky left close to its natural form. Only 286 bottles came from this cask, and with the last bottles now remaining, it feels like a tightly defined snapshot rather than a broad, polished release.
Distilled in December 2017 and bottled in August 2022, this 4-year-old whisky was wine matured. That gives the release its setting, but the real point of interest is cask #14384 itself. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like bottlings like this because they show a more specific side of a producer: less about a standard house expression, more about (…)Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour Incl. Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour Incl. Box

Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour is a Scottish single malt from Campbeltown, and the name immediately gives it a sense of place. Bottled at 40% and released without an age statement, it focuses less on age and more on the approachable house style of Glen Scotia.
Bourbon barrel maturation supports a flavour direction where spice is the most noticeable element, with lighter touches of fruit, floral notes, wood and a gentle salty accent. Peat is not the focus here, so the whisky leans more toward a spiced, lightly coastal Campbeltown character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour as a good way to explore this region through a single malt that remains clear and easy to understand, while still carrying enough personality to feel (…)Wolfburn Let It Snow

Wolfburn Let It Snow
On request only
Wolfburn Let It Snow is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a name that naturally brings a winter mood to mind. With no age statement, the focus is less on a number and more on the style in the glass: a 46% whisky with enough strength to carry its fruity and spicy side clearly.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Wolfburn stands out for the way its main flavours are supported by gentler accents. Fruit and spice are the most prominent elements, while wood, floral notes, a light salty edge and a subtle touch of peat stay in the background. It gives the whisky a layered feel without pushing it into a heavy style.
As these are the last bottles, Let It Snow has become one of those releases that will not remain part of the selection indefinitely. More information (…)Blended Whisky 2017 5y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky) Incl. Box

Blended Whisky 2017 5y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky) Incl. Box

Blended Whisky 2017 5y from Watt Whisky is not an everyday anonymous blend. The distilleries remain undisclosed, yet the release itself is very clearly defined: a Scottish blended whisky distilled in 2017, bottled in 2023 and drawn from a single refill butt.
That makes the focus refreshingly direct. Campbeltown Whisky Company, through Watt Whisky, does not build the story around a famous distillery name here. Instead, the attention falls on the cask, the composition and the whisky's own presence, bottled at a natural strength of 57.1%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits comfortably among independent Scottish bottlings for drinkers who enjoy limited releases with a more individual angle. Only 501 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now in (…)Speyside 2008 16y (Cadenhead's Enigma Series)

Speyside 2008 16y sits in Cadenhead's Enigma Series, a range built around whiskies that refuse to be neatly categorised. The distillery name remains undisclosed, and in this case that mystery feels like part of the appeal: the focus is entirely on the whisky in the glass.
This 16-year-old Speyside single malt was finished in a cask that previously held Pineau de Charente. That finishing detail gives the whisky an unusual direction, supporting its strongly fruity profile while leaving room for spice and some striking savoury touches. Bottled at 51.9%, it has enough weight to carry its more distinctive notes, from menthol and rye bread to dark berries and Black Forest cake.

Bowmore 12y Sherry Incl. Box

Bowmore 12y Sherry is the 12-year-old entry point into Bowmore's Sherry Oak range, an Islay single malt that presents the distillery's character in an approachable way. It matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by an additional sherry cask finish, giving the whisky a clear sherry influence while keeping its Islay identity in view.
What makes this release appealing is the way fruit and spice sit at the centre, with smoke building more gradually rather than taking over immediately. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fine introduction to Bowmore for drinkers who want a sherried style with a touch of Islay smoke, but without moving into a heavier expression.
With 12 years of maturation and an alcoholic strength of 40%, it remains easy to (…)Amrut 2022 4y Peated

Amrut 2022 4y Peated shows a more forceful, smoky side of Amrut Single Malt. This Indian single malt was produced from Scottish-imported peated barley and matured for four years in a bourbon barrel in the tropical climate of Bangalore. That combination gives the whisky its particular energy: ripe fruit, peat influence and a firm cask strength presentation.
The peat is described at around 30 ppm, but the character is broader than smoke alone. The product information points to a layered interplay of fruity, medicinal and ashy notes, with the peat gradually moving towards mineral, floral and smoky dimensions. Bottled at 60%, this single cask has clear intensity, yet the structure comes from more than strength; the tropical maturation and peated malt both leave a distinct (…)*Vintage* Old Pulteney 1967 34y (Douglas Laing - Platinum)

Old Pulteney 1967 34 year old is a Highland single malt defined by time, place and restraint. Distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2002, it carries a 34-year age statement that immediately sets it apart from everyday whisky releases.
Bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Platinum series, this release comes from a single oak cask and was presented at cask strength, 54.9% ABV. With only 259 bottles produced, and now marked as last bottles, it has the quiet scarcity that serious single cask releases often carry.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for their specificity. One vintage, one cask, one limited outturn: it is a whisky for someone who appreciates a clearly defined snapshot of maturation rather than a broad house style.

Ben Nevis 10y is a Highland single malt with a character that resists simple description. Produced at the Ben Nevis distillery near Fort William, it is presented as dry, robust and full-bodied, with a style that does not feel polished into anonymity.
There is also an interesting story behind this 10-year-old release. It is a small-batch bottling mainly intended for the Japanese market, and the distillery itself is owned by Nikka. As one of the few official bottlings from Ben Nevis, it has a particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers who enjoy discovering a more individual Highland malt.

Bowmore 30y 2021 is a Scottish single malt from Islay where age and restraint do much of the talking. Thirty years of maturation gives this whisky a more contemplative presence, built around development over time rather than immediate impact.
The bourbon and sherry cask influence gives the whisky a broad foundation, with fruit and spice standing out most clearly in the supplied flavour profile. Around that core sit lighter touches of wood, floral nuance, salinity and peat, so the Islay identity is there, but expressed with measured detail rather than heavy smoke.

Mars Maltage Cosmo is a Japanese blended malt whisky with a fruit-led personality. It does not build its identity around peat smoke or heavy intensity; instead, it presents malt whisky in a cleaner, more open style where fruit has the central role.
Bottled at 43% and released without an age statement, Cosmo is shaped more by its overall style than by a declared maturation age. Light floral, woody, spicy and salty touches add definition around the fruit, while peat stays out of the picture.

Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Sherry is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a clear sherry-finished direction. Its profile is led by spice, supported by lighter notes of fruit, flower, wood and a subtle salty edge, while peat smoke is not part of the stated flavour profile.
At 50% alcohol, it has a firm presence without relying on an age statement. The emphasis sits on style and cask influence: a Bruichladdich shaped by sherry finishing, where spice gives the whisky its main voice and the supporting elements keep it from feeling one-dimensional.

Bottled at 43%, it keeps a composed style. The combination of Bowmore, Islay origin, 19 years of maturation and Pinot Noir finishing gives this single malt a clear identity without needing to be forceful.

Distilled on 29 January 2009 and bottled on 1 March 2025, this whisky spent 16 years maturing. The PX finish lasted 1 year and 5 months: intense enough to bring deep, dessert-like richness, yet handled in a way that does not cover the underlying malt character.

At 17 years old and bottled at cask strength, 54.9%, it keeps close to the character of that barrel. Only 209 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now in view, its small-scale nature becomes part of the appeal. Ardnamurchan 10y 2025 is a Highland single malt that keeps the distillery character firmly in view. The AD/10 Years Old 2025 Release sits alongside the Heritage Barley Release, but it brings its own point of interest: it is Ardnamurchan's first batch release to include 10-year-old peated whisky.
The composition is what gives this whisky its particular shape. Almost half of the recipe brings together peated and unpeated whiskies, so the smoke is part of the structure rather than a separate layer sitting on top. Maturation is mainly in ex-bourbon casks, with a small amount of ex-sherry cask influence in the mix.
