Dalmore Cigar Reserve Incl. Box
In stock
Dalmore Cigar Reserve is a Highland single malt with a deliberately generous style. Its depth comes from a careful selection of mature whisky drawn from three cask types: American ex-bourbon casks, 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks and premier cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Together they shape a whisky where spice and oak sit at the centre, with fruit adding a softer layer underneath.
The Dalmore story gives the bottle extra context. The distillery has been producing single malt whisky since 1839 and was owned by Clan Mackenzie for almost a century. The royal stag's antlers on the bottle still refer to the clan's family crest, making the presentation instantly recognisable.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Dalmore for those moments (…)Dry Fly Wheat Cask Strength

Dry Fly Wheat Cask Strength
On request only
Dry Fly Wheat Cask Strength is an American wheat whiskey with a very clear identity: it is made from 100% wheat and bottled at cask strength. At 60% ABV it certainly has weight on paper, yet the supplied description points to a full, rounded taste that feels surprisingly composed for that strength.
New oak gives the whiskey a firm frame, with wood and spice clearly present alongside the softer wheat-driven character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for an American whiskey with more intensity than a standard release, but without turning the experience into pure alcohol power.
With only the last bottles remaining, this Dry Fly has become a more limited find. Its appeal lies in the combination of wheat (…)Belgrove 2016 #170216 (Berry Bros)

Belgrove 2016 #170216 (Berry Bros)

Belgrove 2016 #170216 is the kind of rye whisky that immediately gives you something to talk about. This Tasmanian single cask bottling was selected for Collective#1 by Berry Bros. & Rudd, the British independent bottler bringing together spirits from around the world with a shared willingness to challenge convention and reduce their impact on natural resources.
The story at Belgrove Distillery is especially hands-on. Pete Bignell grows his own rye, built his own stills and fires them with used cooking oil. According to the supplied information, the distillery operates almost as a closed loop, with bio-oil as the only outside input and whisky as the only output. That gives this rye a very distinctive identity before you even pour a glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Tennessee whiskey sits in the American whiskey range as a bottle with a little more presence. With 45% alcohol and maturation in new oak, the emphasis naturally moves toward structure, wood influence and spice rather than a soft, neutral style.
The available profile points to clear wood and spice, supported by a lighter fruity side. There is no peated or salty direction indicated, so the focus remains firmly on the richer, oak-driven side of Tennessee whiskey (…)Scapegrace Anthem

Scapegrace Anthem

Scapegrace Anthem is a New Zealand single malt with a point of view of its own. Its character is built around Manuka-smoked malt, an element native to New Zealand, bringing a broad and robust flavour with a distinctive touch of sweetness from the manuka bark.
Virgin French Oak adds a firm wood and spice dimension, while a gentle fruit note keeps the whisky from feeling one-dimensional. At 46% ABV, it has enough presence to carry that character clearly in the glass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to place in front of curious drinkers: recognisably single malt, yet shaped by a very New Zealand approach to smoke and sweetness. Scapegrace Anthem is especially interesting when you want a whisky that feels familiar in form, but (…)Balvenie 21y Portwood Tube Incl.

Balvenie 21y Portwood is a Speyside single malt where age and cask finishing define the conversation. Twenty-one years of maturation gives it a mature foundation, while the Port Finish brings the whisky into a style built around spice, wood influence and a clear fruity thread rather than peat smoke or coastal salinity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy Speyside single malt with a more developed, cask-led character. The port finish is not just a finishing touch in the technical sense; it is central to how this Balvenie presents itself.
Bottled at 40%, it remains measured and approachable, while the age statement and finishing style give it the presence expected from a more considered dram. It is the kind of bottle that (…)Glendronach 40 Years

Glendronach 40 Years

Glendronach 40 Years is a Highland single malt shaped by long ageing and sherry cask maturation. Four decades give it a mature, contemplative style, built around dark fruit, spice and a well-developed wood influence.
The appeal here lies in the depth of the sherry-matured character. Black cherry, plum, blackberry, chocolate and coffee notes place it firmly in the richer side of Glendronach's tradition, with spice adding structure rather than just warmth.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce slowly rather than rush through: a 40-year-old single malt bottled at 43.9%, made for drinkers who appreciate mature Highland whisky with real depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone who enjoys taking time with a dram rather than looking for something light or simple. The appeal lies in the combination of age, strength and sherry wood, giving this Tobermory a firm and mature presence.

Edradour 2001 21y is a Highland single malt with a very precise identity: distilled on 6 December 2001, matured for 21 years and bottled by Signatory on 31 October 2023 as part of the Symington's Choice range.
It comes from a single first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and was bottled at cask strength, 53.3%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Only 321 bottles were drawn from the cask, so this is less about a broad house style and more about one individual cask captured at a particular point in its maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they combine maturity, cask strength and genuine small-batch scarcity. The fact that these are the last bottles simply reinforces the nature of the whisky: once (…)Linkwood 2015 10y (Adelphi)

This is a single cask release, bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 280 bottles and selected exclusively for the European market. Glendronach 18 year old is a Highland single malt with a clear link to the distillery's origins. The name Allardice refers to the founder of Glendronach in 1826, and the supplied information presents it as the return of one of the most mythical single malts the Highlands have known.
Its sherry maturation shapes the whisky into a darker, richer and more spice-led style. Rather than aiming for lightness, it leans into mature wood influence, deep fruit and pronounced spice, with its 46% strength giving the whisky enough structure to carry that character well.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a mature, sherry-driven Highland single malt with depth, tradition and a generous flavour profile.

Glenmorangie Signet sits at the deeper, more contemplative end of the Glenmorangie range. It is presented by the distillery as the height of its expertise: a Highland single malt built around richness, complexity and a more profound style of aroma.
The exact recipe is kept secret, but the important clues are there. Signet contains some of Glenmorangie's oldest whiskies, while its distinctive core comes from heavily roasted chocolate malt. Estate-grown barley brings the creamy Glenmorangie style, and the final composition draws together extra-mature sweet whiskies from old sherry casks, spicy toasted whiskies from newly charred oak casks, and mature stocks that give Signet its depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glenmorangie that stands out because it presents the distillery's Highland identity in a fuller, more oak-driven way.
