Glendronach 40 Years

On request only

Glendronach 40 Years is a Highland single malt shaped by long ageing and sherry cask maturation. Four decades give it a mature, contemplative style, built around dark fruit, spice and a well-developed wood influence.

The appeal here lies in the depth of the sherry-matured character. Black cherry, plum, blackberry, chocolate and coffee notes place it firmly in the richer side of Glendronach's tradition, with spice adding structure rather than just warmth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce slowly rather than rush through: a 40-year-old single malt bottled at 43.9%, made for drinkers who appreciate mature Highland whisky with real depth.

The aroma brings black cherry, stewed plum and blackberry, supported by (…)

Edradour 2001 21y (Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice) Tube Incl.

In stock

Edradour 2001 21y is a Highland single malt with a very precise identity: distilled on 6 December 2001, matured for 21 years and bottled by Signatory on 31 October 2023 as part of the Symington's Choice range.

It comes from a single first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and was bottled at cask strength, 53.3%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Only 321 bottles were drawn from the cask, so this is less about a broad house style and more about one individual cask captured at a particular point in its maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they combine maturity, cask strength and genuine small-batch scarcity. The fact that these are the last bottles simply reinforces the nature of the whisky: once (…)

Glendronach 18y New Incl. Box

In stock

Glendronach 18 year old is a Highland single malt with a clear link to the distillery's origins. The name Allardice refers to the founder of Glendronach in 1826, and the supplied information presents it as the return of one of the most mythical single malts the Highlands have known.

Its sherry maturation shapes the whisky into a darker, richer and more spice-led style. Rather than aiming for lightness, it leans into mature wood influence, deep fruit and pronounced spice, with its 46% strength giving the whisky enough structure to carry that character well.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a mature, sherry-driven Highland single malt with depth, tradition and a generous flavour profile.

Vintage Glenrothes 1997 20y Whisky Fassle

Very last one in stock!

Glenrothes 1997 20 Year Old Whisky Fassle is a Speyside single malt with a very clear identity. It was distilled in 1997, bottled in 2017 and matured for twenty years before being drawn from a single sherry butt. At 47.9% and bottled at cask strength, it keeps the focus firmly on that individual cask rather than on a blended house style.

The character is shaped by a strongly spiced profile, with fruit and oak also clearly present. There is no peated direction indicated here, so the interest lies more in the interaction between maturation, sherry cask influence and the mature Speyside malt beneath it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that tells a compact but complete story: one distillation year, one cask, one bottling date, and now (…)

Vintage Glenrothes 1997 20y Sansibar For Whiskyklubben Slainte Sweden

Very last one in stock!

This Glenrothes 1997 is interesting because it is so clearly tied to one cask and one moment in time. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 after 20 years of maturation, it was drawn from a single Sherry Hogshead. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it gives a focused view of a mature Speyside single malt from one individual cask.

Sansibar bottled it for Whiskyklubben Slainte Sweden, with a total outturn of just 300 bottles. With the last bottles now in view, it has a natural place in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection for customers who enjoy whiskies with a defined origin, age and cask story.

Bottled at 53.6%, this is a cask strength Glenrothes with real presence. The profile points toward spice as the main driver, supported by clear wood influence (…)

Bunnahabhain 1977 40y Artist #12 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

In stock

Bunnahabhain 1977 40y Artist #12 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with the kind of detail that immediately gives it presence: 40 years old, bottled by Signatory for the Artist Edition, drawn from a single cask and limited to 546 bottles. With the last bottles now available, it has the quiet scarcity of a release that belongs to one precise cask and one precise moment.

Matured in a refill butt and bottled at cask strength, it comes in at 47.2% alcohol. That strength is part of its identity rather than a technical footnote, keeping the whisky close to the cask from which it was drawn. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle we look at through the lens of provenance: Bunnahabhain, Islay, Signatory, long maturation and limited outturn all matter here.

Glendronach 18y Allardice Tube Incl.

In stock

Glendronach 18y Allardice is a Highland single malt with a strong sense of lineage. The name Allardice refers to the distillery's founder in 1826, giving this 18-year-old release a direct link to the Glendronach story rather than feeling like a simple age-stated whisky.

Sherry maturation shapes its identity. The style is aromatic, fruit-driven and spicy, with enough wood influence to show the depth of its long maturation. Bottled at 46%, it carries its flavour with confidence while staying within the classic single malt register.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we naturally point out when someone is looking for a serious sherry-matured Scotch whisky with maturity, dark fruit and spice at its core. With the last bottles now in view, the (…)

Linkwood 1997 25y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

In stock

Linkwood 1997 25y is a Speyside single malt with a very focused identity: one vintage, one cask, long maturation and bottling at cask strength. Distilled on 17 April 1997 and bottled on 1 August 2022, it captures 25 years of development in a limited run of 327 bottles.

The sherry hogshead maturation gives this Linkwood a serious frame, but the appeal lies just as much in its directness. Bottled by The Nectar for the Daily Dram series at 56%, it brings a pronounced spicy side, with clear fruit and wood influence supporting the structure.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of someone who wants a mature Speyside in an unfiltered-by-style, single-cask form. With only the last bottles remaining, it feels like a precise snapshot (…)

Glen Mhor 1965 50y (Signatory Rare Reserve) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Glen Mhor 1965 50y is a Highland single malt defined by patience and rarity. Distilled on 9 December 1965 and bottled on 11 January 2016, it spent fifty years maturing before being released by Signatory as part of the Rare Reserve series.

This is a single cask whisky from an Oloroso Sherry cask, bottled at cask strength at 47.1%. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one individual cask, one long maturation and one specific distillation date from 1965.

Only 353 bottles were produced, and within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans this Glen Mhor stands apart as a collector's item for those who value very old Scottish single malt. The fact that these are the last bottles only adds to the sense of limited availability.

Dad's Hat Rye Vermouth Finish

On request only

Dad's Hat Rye Vermouth Finish is an American rye whiskey shaped by an extra three months in ex-vermouth casks. That finishing period gives it a distinct angle: still clearly rye-driven, but with a drier, more aromatic edge from the vermouth influence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers looking beyond the usual rye profile. Its 47% strength gives it presence, while the character stays focused on spice, orange-toned fruit, vanilla and a rounded vermouth sweetness.

With only the last bottles remaining, it is a particularly interesting choice for anyone curious about rye whiskey finished in a less conventional cask style.

Templeton Rye Whiskey 6y

On request only

Templeton Rye Whiskey 6y is built around a clearly defined rye identity. Its recipe is based on the original The Good Stuff and uses 95% rye, giving this American whiskey a style that leans firmly into spice, wood and fruit rather than smoke.

Six years of maturation in American Oak add structure to that rye-driven character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whiskey for anyone looking beyond a softer bourbon profile and into something with more herbal and spicy definition, while still keeping a smooth and sweet side.

Bottled at 45.75%, Templeton Rye 6y has enough strength to carry its flavour without feeling overly forceful in the tasting description. With only the last bottles indicated, it is also becoming a less obvious find for those who want to (…)

Kyro 2016 (Berry Bros Nordic Casks)

On request only

Kyro 2016 is Finnish rye whisky shown in a very focused way: one bourbon barrel, bottled at cask strength by Berry Bros as part of the Nordic Casks range. Rather than a broad house style, this is a small snapshot of one individual cask.

Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2021, the release was limited to 256 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a rye whisky for drinkers who enjoy exploring less familiar origins within the category.

The emphasis is clearly on spice, supported by a noticeable fruity side and a lighter touch of wood from the bourbon barrel. At 54.6%, it carries the presence of a cask strength bottling, with no supplied indication of peat smoke or salinity.

The flavour profile is led by pronounced spice. Fruit sits (…)

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 84

On request only

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 84 is a Speyside single malt built around sherry maturation and cask strength rather than an age statement. At 61.2% alcohol, it presents Aberlour in a powerful, concentrated form, with the batch identity playing an important role in how the whisky is experienced.

The sherry-matured character gives this release its direction. Fruit, spice and oak all have a clear presence, making Batch 84 a fuller and more assertive side of Speyside single malt rather than a delicate, understated dram.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Aberlour we place in front of customers who are looking for a sherry matured whisky with real weight and intensity. It has become a familiar name among drinkers who appreciate strength and depth in the (…)

Komagatake Mars Edition 2019

Komagatake Mars Edition 2019 is a Japanese single malt that presents itself through a specific release rather than an age statement. Bottled at 48%, it puts the focus on the 2019 edition and on Komagatake's style in a clearly defined bottling.

Its bourbon cask maturation supports a whisky with noticeable wood influence, alongside fruit and spice in the flavour profile. That gives it a more structured feel than a purely delicate malt, while still staying within the refined world of Japanese single malt whisky.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, the remaining bottles of this Mars Edition 2019 stand out for their combination of Japanese origin, edition-based character and collector's item status. It is the kind of bottle that will especially catch the eye of drinkers who (…)

Chichibu 2014 10y #10416 is a Japanese single malt with a very defined identity: drawn from a single cask, bottled at cask strength and limited to just 246 bottles. It also closes the In the Wake of Silence series within the Itinîraires collection, giving this release the feel of a final chapter rather than a standalone bottling.

The sherry finish is described as a meeting point between Japan and Andalusia. That idea comes through in the whisky's sense of maturity, its refined classicism and the precise way its aromatic notes are presented. The reference to shimmering orange tones fits naturally with the bitter orange, candied apricot and dried fruit found in the tasting notes.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottling like this stands out because the (…)

Bruichladdich Black Art 11 Tube Incl.

In stock

Bruichladdich Black Art 11 is a 24-year-old Islay single malt, and within the Drankenshop Broekmans range it stands out as a whisky with a more contemplative presence. The appeal here lies in the combination of Bruichladdich, the Black Art name and the maturity that comes with two decades and more of ageing.

There is also a clear sense of scarcity around this release. Marked as a collector's item and listed among the last bottles, it is not presented as an everyday pour, but as a whisky to consider for its specific release, age and place within the Bruichladdich line-up.

The flavour profile points towards fruit, spice and wood rather than peat. That gives this Islay single malt a character built around maturation and layered development rather than smoky (…)

Benriach 1994 28y #8127 Incl. Box

In stock

Benriach 1994 28y is a Speyside single malt from Scotland with maturation at the centre of its story. Distilled on 15 July 1994 and aged for 28 years, it points towards a style where wood influence, spice and fruit are all clearly present, while peat smoke is not part of the profile.

At 53.6% ABV, it carries real weight in the glass. That strength suits a whisky of this age: mature, concentrated and made for slow attention rather than casual sipping. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Benriach for drinkers who enjoy older Speyside single malt with a pronounced sense of time and structure.

With only the last bottles remaining, this release also has a naturally limited feel. Not because it needs loud claims, but because a 1994 Benriach at 28 years old (…)

Benriach 25y #7779 1997 is a Speyside single malt with a very clear identity: distilled on 16 June 1997, matured for 25 years and shaped by rum maturation. The cask reference in the name gives it a precise, defined character rather than the feeling of a broad standard release.

Its profile points towards fruit, spice and wood influence, with no emphasis on peat or salinity. That places the focus on mature Speyside character, supported by the particular direction of the rum-matured cask. At 54.1% ABV, it is presented with considerable strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this stand out because they tell a specific story through age, vintage and cask identity. With the last bottles now in view, this Benriach will speak especially to drinkers (…)

The sherry-matured style is central here. The profile points clearly towards fruit, spice and wood, fitting naturally with a whisky that has spent four decades maturing. At 43% alcohol, the emphasis remains on a classic presentation rather than sheer strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Glenfarclas 40y Mini stands out because it combines significant age with a miniature format. With only the last bottles remaining, it is a release with a real sense of limited availability.

Glendronach 1995 18y For (The Whisky Agency) Incl. Box

On request only

Glendronach 1995 18 Year Old stands out because of its vintage. The supplied information describes 1995 as one of the least available Glendronach vintages so far, giving this single malt a more specific identity than a standard aged sherry cask release.

This is a single cask selected by The Whisky Agency and bottled at cask strength, 52.2%. Its maturation in an Oloroso Sherry cask provides an important part of the story, yet the tasting notes point to something more layered than simply heavy sherry richness: oak, spice and fruit are all clearly present, with berries, citrus and a drier, more earthy side.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, the interest lies in the precision of the release. Distilled in November 1995 and bottled in July 2014 at 18 years old, it comes (…)

Glen Scotia 46y

Glen Scotia 46y is a deeply aged Campbeltown single malt, released as a single cask bottling with only 150 bottles produced. Rather than a regular expression, it represents one very specific cask-driven view of Glen Scotia after 46 years of maturation.

Bottled at cask strength at 41.7%, it stays close to the whisky as it came from the cask. The Bourbon + Sherry cask information points towards a profile shaped by wood, spice and fruit, with peat and salty notes not taking a leading role in the supplied flavour profile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that stands out for customers looking for a rare, mature Scottish single malt with a clear sense of origin and cask individuality. With the last bottles now indicated, its limited nature (…)

Glenmorangie Pride 1974 41y 1l

Very last one in stock!

Glenmorangie Pride 1974 is a Highland single malt defined by long maturation, limited availability and a very specific moment in the distillery's history. Distilled in 1974 and aged for 41 years, it sits far away from everyday whisky drinking. Only 503 bottles were released, and the fact that these are now among the last bottles adds to its quiet sense of occasion.

The maturation brings together sherry and bourbon casks, giving the whisky a profile where wood, spice and fruit all have a clear role. Bottled at cask strength at 52%, it keeps a more direct expression of its strength rather than being reduced to a standard drinking strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is best understood as a rare Glenmorangie release for someone who appreciates (…)
