Taleia Brisat Blanc 2018 is a Spanish skin-contact white wine from Castell d'Encús, Raül Bobet's project in Pallars Jussà in the Catalan Pyrenees. Brisat refers to fermentation with the grape skins, placing this wine close to the orange wine style, although the colour is described as straw yellow.
For this 2018 vintage, the wine is made from 100% sauvignon blanc grown exclusively on Castell d'Encús' own vineyards. The grapes were hand-harvested in small 10 kg crates and fermented with indigenous yeasts in 12th-century stone lagares. The entire wine then matured for around 12 months in barrel.
