Product info about La Grande Dame Rose 2012 + Giftbox
La Grande Dame Rosé 2012 + Giftbox is a French rosé champagne where the appeal lies in a clear combination of elements: the 2012 year, the La Grande Dame name and the added presence of a giftbox. It feels like a bottle chosen for a specific occasion rather than opened without thought. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this among the champagnes that bring a little extra ceremony to the table. The giftbox gives it a polished presentation, while the 2012 reference gives the bottle its own identity within the rosé champagne category.
With only the last bottles remaining, this release also carries a natural sense of limited availability. For someone looking for a French rosé champagne with a refined presentation and a clearly stated year, this is a bottle with quiet presence.
No detailed tasting notes are provided for La Grande Dame Rosé 2012, so the sensory description should remain restrained. What is confirmed is that this is a French rosé champagne from 2012 with an alcohol strength of 12.5%.
It is best approached without a fixed list of aromas in mind, allowing the glass itself to shape the tasting impression.

About LA GRANDE DAME
La Grande Dame is a prestigious champagne produced by Veuve Clicquot, one of the historic houses from the Champagne region in France. This cuvée is named after Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, better known as the Widow (Veuve) Clicquot, an influential woman in the history of the champagne industry. La Grande Dame was introduced in 1972 as a tribute to her two hundredth birthday and has since been considered the flagship of the house. The champagne is made from a selection of Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, often with a large proportion of pinot noir, which gives the style strength and elegance. La Grande Dame is only released in the best harvest years as vintage champagne, which means that all the grapes come from one year. Through careful selection of the best base wines and a longer maturation in the bottle, a complex, refined champagne with a recognizable character is created. It is a beloved choice for those interested in the best that the house of Veuve Clicquot has to offer.
