Château Marjosse Blanc 2021 is a dry white Bordeaux from Entre-Deux-Mers, built around a blend of sémillon, sauvignon blanc, sauvignon gris and muscadelle. It comes from the estate associated with Pierre Lurton and shows the fresher, more aromatic side of Bordeaux white wine.What gives this wine its shape is the careful handling behind it. The grape varieties are harvested and vinified separately, picked early in the morning and gently pressed to protect their aromatic clarity. A short period on fine lees in concrete vats, with regular bâtonnage, adds a softer texture while keeping the wine bright and lively.
The 2021 vintage had its own challenges, including spring frost and a later dry, sunny August. In the glass, the available notes point towards freshness, balance and expressive aromatics rather than weight.
