John Crabbie Single Malt carries forward John Crabbie's whisky legacy with a Scotch single malt from the Bonnington distillery in Leith, in the Lowland region. Bottled at 40%, it comes without an age statement, placing the focus firmly on its style and cask influence.
The defining feature here is maturation in 100% virgin oak casks. That gives the whisky a clear wood-led personality, with spice and tannic grip playing an important role. It is not presented as a smoky malt; its identity sits more in sweet oak, structure and a firm spicy edge.
