Ledaig 2009 13y (The Whisky Agency)
Very last one in stock!
Ledaig 2009 13y is a Scottish single malt from Mull, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 after 13 years of maturation. Its appeal lies in the way it is presented: drawn from a single hogshead cask and bottled at cask strength, with an alcohol level of 52.3%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this stand out because they capture one particular cask rather than a broad house-style release. That gives the whisky a clear sense of origin, age and individuality.
With only the last bottles remaining, this Ledaig also carries a natural sense of scarcity. It is a focused choice for drinkers who enjoy single malt in a more direct, cask-driven form.
This Ledaig is bottled at 52.3%, giving it a firm cask strength presentation. No detailed tasting (…)Ledaig 1997 24y Barc (Blackadder Statement)

Ledaig 1997 24y Barc is a Scottish single malt from Mull, bottled by Blackadder as part of the Statement series. With a 1997 distillation date, 24 years of age and a strength of 58.2%, it immediately presents itself as a more specialist release rather than an everyday bottling.
Its appeal lies in the combination of single cask origin and cask strength presentation. This is not a broad batch shaped towards consistency, but one individual cask captured after long maturation, with its own specific identity left intact.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for exactly that reason: they offer a narrow, limited view of a distillery at a particular point in time. With only the last bottles remaining, the availability of this release has become (…)Brora 35y 2013

Brora 35y 2013
Very last one in stock!
Brora 35y 2013 is a Highland single malt with a distinctly rare character. The essential details already set the tone: 35 years of age, a 2013 release, and a limited outturn of 2,944 bottles. With its collector's item status and the indication that these are the last bottles, this is clearly far removed from an everyday whisky purchase.
Matured in oak cask and bottled at cask strength, 49.9%, it keeps a close connection to its cask origins. The appeal here lies in the combination of age, provenance and restraint: Brora as the name, Highland as the region, and a long maturation shaping the whisky without needing unnecessary decoration.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for those who appreciate older single malt with a serious peated signature. (…)Brora 30y 2010

Very last one in stock!
Brora 30y 2010 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky with a clear sense of age and presence. Thirty years of maturation give this bottle a more serious, contemplative place on the shelf, centred on maturity, concentration and a pronounced distillery style.
Bottled at cask strength at 54.3%, it keeps its natural intensity. The oak cask maturation adds a firm woody frame, while the flavour profile points strongly towards peat, supported by spice, fruit and a salty edge.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Brora as a bottle for drinkers and collectors who appreciate older Highland single malt with real power and a distinctly smoky direction. Secret Islay 2010 12y is a Scottish single malt with an intentionally undisclosed origin. The label gives away the island, but not the distillery, making the whisky more about Islay, age and cask selection than about a famous name on the front.
Distilled in 2010 and matured for 12 years in a hogshead, it is bottled at 49.4%, giving it a confident presence without moving into very high-strength territory.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for its quiet intrigue: a clearly defined Islay single malt, with a concrete age statement, limited remaining availability and a distillery name kept deliberately in the background.

Stalla Dhu Saorsa Aois Sd is a Scottish whisky presented in a rather focused way: bottled at 50% and linked to a Sherry Butt. There is no elaborate background story in the supplied information, so the appeal sits in the essentials origin, cask style and strength.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who pays attention to those details. A Scottish whisky from a Sherry Butt, at a firm bottling strength, already gives a clear sense of direction without needing a long list of claims.
With only the last bottles indicated as available, it also has a more limited feel within the assortment. No detailed distillery background or tasting notes are provided, so this is best approached as a straightforward discovery built (…)Octomore 17.3 Tube Incl.

Temporarily sold out
Octomore 17.3 is Bruichladdich's most terroir-focused and extreme expression within the trio. This 5-year-old Islay single malt is made from barley grown in Irene's Field on Octomore Farm, tying its identity closely to its place of origin.
At 132.1 PPM and 60.9% alcohol, it is a forceful whisky, yet its interest lies in more than peat alone. A cask combination of Bourbon, Sauternes, Ribera del Duero, Ice Wine and Syrah brings fruit, sweetness and spice into contact with an intensely smoky core.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, Octomore 17.3 stands out as a whisky for those moments when Islay character may be unapologetically powerful: deep peat smoke, layered cask influence and a clear sense of origin all brought together in one concentrated release.

Enthralling Elegance 1993 30y 53.461 is a Scottish single malt from Caol Ila on Islay, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as part of the Artist Collection. It immediately presents itself as something more individual than a regular release: a 30-year-old single cask whisky, bottled at cask strength.
Distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2023, it spent three decades maturing before being released at 52.6% alcohol. The hogshead cask produced just 266 bottles, so this is a very specific snapshot of one cask rather than a whisky built from multiple components.

Lagavulin 1978 14 Year Old Kingsbury's Unicorn Label is very much a vintage bottle with a specific story. Distilled on 1 December 1978 and bottled on 10 December 1992, it brings together a fourteen-year-old Islay single malt, a single bourbon cask and cask strength bottling at 64.7%, released for Japan.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this sits in the realm of specialist and collector-oriented whisky rather than everyday single malt. Lagavulin, Islay, Kingsbury's Unicorn Label, the Japanese release context and the single cask presentation all point to a very particular old bottling.

Ardmore 2005 16y is a Highland single malt with a very defined origin: distilled in 2005, bottled in 2022 and drawn from a single hogshead cask. Rather than presenting a broad batch style, it captures one particular cask at one particular point in its maturation.
Bottled at cask strength, 51.3%, it keeps a direct connection with the cask from which it came. That strength gives the release a more unadjusted presentation than a whisky reduced to a standard bottling strength.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, single cask releases like this are valued because they show a distillery from a more specific angle. With only the last bottles remaining, this Ardmore is especially relevant for drinkers looking for a limited Highland malt with a clear cask identity.

An Ardbeg distilled in 1972 immediately feels like a serious conversation piece. It was bottled for Alambic Classique Germany from a single oak cask, at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 50.1%.
Its appeal lies in the way the details come together. Ledaig 1995 26y Tb is a Scottish single malt from Mull with a very focused identity: one cask, long maturation and a clearly coastal-peated profile. Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2022, it carries 26 years of development without feeling like a broad, standard release. It is the kind of whisky that speaks through the individuality of a single cask.
That single cask element is central here. Rather than blending several casks into a wider style, this bottling captures one specific maturation path, with peat, salt and spice forming the most prominent parts of its profile. Fruit, floral touches and oak sit more in the background, adding support rather than taking over. Bottled at cask strength at 45%, it remains close to the form in which the cask presented itself.
