Rocas de Sena 2020 is the first vintage released of this second wine from Sena in Chile's Aconcagua Valley. It shows the estate from a different angle, with Malbec at the centre of the blend alongside Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Petit Verdot. The use of Syrah and Grenache gives it a more Mediterranean accent than the main Sena wine, while still remaining firmly rooted in Aconcagua.
Its name points to the rocky landscape behind the wine. Volcanic stones, well-drained soils and a vineyard site around 40 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean all play a part in its identity. Rocas De Sena 2021 is a dry red wine from Chile's Aconcagua Valley and the second wine of Sena. It comes from selected parcels of the Sena vineyard, in a setting known for rocky soils and large volcanic stones. That landscape is part of the wine's identity, and it is reflected directly in the name Rocas.
The 2021 blend brings together Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Petit Verdot and Mourvèdre. Compared with the main Sena wine, Rocas De Sena gives more room to Mediterranean varieties alongside the classic structure of Cabernet and Malbec. It feels like a distinct interpretation of the same vineyard environment rather than a simple second label.

Sena 2010 is a dry red wine from Chile's Aconcagua Valley, sourced from Seña's own hillside vineyard in Ocoa. Its Bordeaux inspiration is clear, yet the presence of Carmenere gives the blend a distinctly Chilean accent alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
The vineyard setting is central to the wine's personality. The vines grow on north-east facing slopes at roughly 290 to 500 metres above sea level, around 41 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean. That position brings cooling influence and day-night temperature variation, factors linked to colour intensity, ripeness and the preservation of acidity.
