Plantation
Of course, Plantation is once again hugely represented in this list. Not only do plenty of new releases pop up every year, it is also simply the biggest (and best) rum brand in our selection! In 2023, there were quite a few new releases, all of which proved to be in demand. Needless to say, Plantation is one of the most popular premium rum brands of the moment by a mile.
Daily Dram
Within The Nectar's independent Daily Dram bottlings, 2023 saw the release of a number of gems that were also very palatable to rum lovers.
24 Days of Rum 2023 - Blue Edition
The 24 Days of Rum tasting kit was once again a hit in 2023. A lot of rum lovers were surprised in the run-up to or during Christmas with this unique tasting kit containing 24 samples of all kinds of rums. The set is also accompanied by two glasses, an information booklet and a free website with all the information on each sample.
Other surprises in 2023
Besides the above rum violence, a number of other rums stood out in the past year, including one from Watt Whisky and a new Diplomatico Vintage.
