Chateau Doisy Daene 2019 Barsac is a sweet white wine from Barsac in Bordeaux, made from 100% sémillon. It is the château's regular liquoreux wine, separate from its dry white Grand Vin Sec and from the rare L'Extravagant cuvée.
The estate is listed as a Deuxième Cru Classé in the 1855 classification of Sauternes and Barsac. The fruit comes from Haut-Barsac, where clay-limestone soils and a thin layer of clayey sand sit above a limestone base. In the 2019 vintage, the wine is described as concentrated and sweet, yet marked by a clear sense of freshness.
Harvesting is carried out by hand in successive selective passes, allowing grapes affected by noble rot to be picked at the right moment. Vinification takes place by picking (…)Chateau Doisy Daene 2020 Barsac

Chateau Doisy Daene 2020 Barsac is a sweet white wine from Barsac in Bordeaux, from an estate classified as a Second Cru Classé in the 1855 ranking for Sauternes and Barsac. Its origin in Haut-Barsac, on an argilo-limestone plateau, is an important part of the wine's identity and helps frame the style: concentrated, botrytised fruit with the freshness expected from this appellation.
The 2020 vintage stands out because it is made from 100% sémillon. The grapes are hand-harvested in successive selective passes, plot by plot and trie by trie, to capture the concentration brought by noble rot. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by an average ageing period of around twelve months, with the oak described in the available notes as supportive rather than (…)Chateau Doisy Daene 2020 Barsac Magnum (1,5l)

Château Doisy Daëne 2020 Barsac in magnum is a sweet white Bordeaux from Barsac, produced by an estate listed as a Deuxième Cru Classé in the 1855 classification for Sauternes and Barsac. For the 2020 vintage, the wine was made entirely from Sémillon grown on the Haut-Barsac terroir, a clay-limestone plateau.
Its appeal lies in the way concentration is held in check by freshness. The grapes are hand-harvested through successive selective pickings, with each picking and parcel fermented separately. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by an average ageing period of around twelve months, also in barriques. The result is a noble sweet Barsac shaped by botrytis, extract, acidity and careful oak maturation rather than sweetness (…)Chateau Doisy Daene 2021 Barsac

Chateau Doisy Daene 2021 Barsac is a noble sweet white wine from Barsac in Bordeaux, produced by a Deuxième Cru Classé estate from the 1855 classification for Sauternes and Barsac. For the 2021 vintage, the wine is described as 100% Sémillon, grown on the Haut-Barsac terroir, where clay-limestone soils are often linked with freshness, tension and a mineral impression.
Its interest lies in the way sweetness is carried by precision. The grapes are hand-harvested in successive selective passes, each one focused on concentration and noble rot. Fermentation takes place in barriques, with separate handling by picking pass and parcel, followed by barrel ageing. It is a traditional Barsac approach, but the emphasis here is clearly on clarity and lift rather (…)Chateau Doisy Daene 2021 Barsac Demi (37,5cl)

Chateau Doisy Daene 2021 Barsac Demi is the sweet white Barsac from Château Doisy-Daëne, a Second Cru Classé from the 1855 classification of Sauternes and Barsac. The 37.5 cl demi bottle is not a separate cuvée; it is the same wine in a smaller format, useful when you want to enjoy a serious sweet Bordeaux without opening a full bottle.
The 2021 vintage stands out for its very small production and clear concentration. This release is described as 100% Sémillon from the elevated limestone and clay plateau of Haut-Barsac. The grapes were concentrated by noble rot and harvested by hand in successive selective passes, then fermented by picking and parcel in barriques, followed by maturation in oak and further resting in stainless steel tanks.

Château Doisy Daëne 2022 Barsac is a sweet white Bordeaux from Barsac, part of the 1855 Deuxième Cru Classé classification for Sauternes and Barsac. This is the château's classic sweet grand vin, shaped around concentration, freshness and a refined expression of noble rot.
The vineyard sits on the limestone plateau of Haut-Barsac, where a thin layer of clayey sand lies over limestone. That setting matters here, because Doisy Daëne is described by the producer as a wine of clear fruit, tension and finesse rather than sweetness alone. The 2022 blend is 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc.
Grapes are hand-harvested in several selective passes through the vineyard, choosing berries concentrated by noble rot. Fermentation (…)Chateau Doisy Daene 2022 Barsac Demi (37,5cl)

Château Doisy-Daëne 2022 is a sweet white Barsac from Bordeaux, offered here in a 37.5 cl half bottle. That smaller format suits the wine beautifully: generous enough for a refined moment, yet convenient when you want to serve a great sweet wine without opening a full bottle.
This estate is a 2ème Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification for Sauternes and Barsac. The 2022 vintage is made from 95% sémillon and 5% sauvignon blanc, with grapes picked by hand in several selective passes once noble rot has brought the right concentration. That patient selection is central to the style: sweetness, certainly, but also freshness, lift and the layered character of botrytised fruit.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of (…)Chateau Doisy Daene 2022 Barsac Magnum (1,5l) Incl. Box

Chateau Doisy Daene 2022 Barsac Magnum is a sweet white Bordeaux from Barsac, within the broader Sauternes/Barsac tradition. In magnum format, it immediately feels like a bottle with a sense of occasion: made for a generous table, a memorable moment, or a cellar where time can do its work.
The estate is a Deuxième Cru Classé from the 1855 classification. For the 2022 vintage, the blend is led by sémillon, with a small proportion of sauvignon blanc. The fruit comes from the Barsac plateau, where red clayey sands lie over limestone, a setting the estate links to the freshness and finesse of its white wines.
Its depth comes from painstaking selection. The grapes are picked by hand in several passes, focusing on fruit concentrated by noble (…)Chateau Doisy Daene Blanc 2019

Château Doisy Daëne Blanc 2019 is a sweet white Bordeaux from Barsac, within the Sauternes area. The estate is a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, yet the real interest here lies in the way this wine combines sweetness, concentration and freshness.
The 2019 vintage is made from 100% Sémillon. Its vineyards sit on the high plateau of Barsac, with clayey sands over limestone, and the vines average around 50 years of age. Grapes for the sweet wine are harvested by hand in successive selections, focusing on berries concentrated by noble rot.
In the cellar, the different picking passes and parcels are vinified separately in barriques. The wine then sees oak ageing followed by time in stainless steel before (…)Chateau Doisy Daene Blanc 2020

Chateau Doisy Daene Blanc 2020

Château Doisy Daëne Blanc 2020 presents the dry white side of Barsac. The estate is best known for sweet white wines, yet it also produces this Grand Vin Sec from Bordeaux, made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc grown in Barsac.
The vines stand on the Haut-Barsac plateau, where clay, limestone and a thin layer of clayey sand help shape the wine's fresh, mineral style. The grapes are hand-harvested in successive passes. Fermentation takes place in barriques, with separate handling by parcel and picking, followed by around twelve months of ageing in barriques on the lees with regular bâtonnage.
That gives the wine more depth than a purely aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. Freshness is clearly part of its identity, but so are texture, discreet oak (…)L'Extravagant De Doisy Daene 2016 Demi (37,5cl)

The 2016 vintage stands out because it is made from 100% sauvignon blanc. The grapes come from the Haut-Barsac plateau, where clay and limestone soils shape the vineyard setting. L'Extravagant De Doisy Daene 2020 Demi (37,5cl)

L'Extravagant de Doisy-Daëne 2020 is a Sauternes with a name that feels entirely appropriate. This is not just a half bottle of sweet white Bordeaux, but a rare selection from Château Doisy-Daëne in Barsac, made from 100% sauvignon blanc and produced only in great vintages.
Château Doisy-Daëne has deep roots in Sauternes: it is a Second Cru Classé from the 1855 classification and has belonged to the Dubourdieu family since 1924. For this cuvée, the focus is on remarkable concentration through noble rot, linked to sauvignon blanc grown on the limestone terroir of Barsac. The grapes are hand-picked in successive selections, taking only fruit that has reached the desired development of pourriture noble.
