Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Blanc 2019
On request only
Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Blanc 2019 is the dry white grand vin from the estate in Léognan, within Bordeaux's Pessac-Léognan appellation. As a Grand Cru Classé de Graves, the château is classified for both red and white wine, and this 2019 white clearly belongs to the more serious side of white Bordeaux: Sauvignon Blanc led, supported by Sémillon, with freshness, structure and depth all playing their part.
The grapes were hand-picked in successive selections. In the cellar, the wine was slowly pressed under protection from oxidation, fermented in oak barrels and matured for 14 months on the lees with bâtonnage in French oak, 55% of it new. That detail matters in the glass: the wine has aromatic drive, but also a creamy, almost (…)Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Blanc 2020

Château Malartic-Lagravière Blanc 2021 is the white grand vin from the estate in Léognan, within the Pessac-Léognan appellation. This is not the second wine, but the château's main white wine, carrying the Grand Cru Classé de Graves classification for white.
The 2021 vintage in Bordeaux was far from effortless. A mild start was followed by cold, rain and disease pressure, before drier conditions arrived towards harvest. For the white grapes, the estate describes healthy fruit with aromatic freshness and good density. The final blend, 89% Sauvignon Blanc and 11% Sémillon, clearly reflects that fresh and precise direction.
Harvesting was carried out by hand in successive selections. The wine was slowly pressed (…)Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Blanc 2022

Château Malartic-Lagravière Blanc 2022 is the white grand vin of the estate in Léognan, within the Pessac-Léognan appellation. As one of the Crus Classés de Graves, and classified for both red and white wines, the château brings a particularly serious Bordeaux context to this dry white wine.
The 2022 vintage was shaped by spring frost, drought and several heatwaves, yet the estate describes its white wines from this year as fine, airy and strikingly fresh. The blend is 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Sémillon, harvested by hand in several selective passes. Picking for the white grapes began early, on 24 August, a detail that says a lot about the precision needed in this vintage.
Fermentation took place in oak barrels (…)La Reserve De Malartic Lagraviere Red 2019

La Réserve de Malartic Rouge 2019 is the second red wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan. The estate is classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves for both red and white wines, so this is very much rooted in the identity of the château rather than being a simple secondary label.
The 2019 blend is led by merlot, with cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot adding structure and detail. Grapes were hand-harvested, selected by parcel and passed over double sorting tables. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and wooden vats, followed by around fifteen months on fine lees in French oak barrels, 25% of them new.
What gives this wine its charm is its place within (…)Le Comte De Malartic Lagraviere 2020

Le Comte de Malartic Lagraviere 2020 is the white second wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux. The 2020 vintage is a noteworthy one for this cuvée, as the former La Réserve de Malartic was released under the name Le Comte de Malartic Blanc from this vintage onwards.
The blend is 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, giving it a classic dry white Bordeaux identity: aromatic lift and precision from Sauvignon, with Sémillon adding a rounder, more textured dimension. The grapes were harvested by hand in successive selections, followed by fermentation in oak barrels and 12 months of ageing on the lees in French oak, with bâtonnage.
At the estate, 2020 was an early vintage, shaped by a (…)Le Comte De Malartic Lagraviere 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

The blend is built around 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon. The grapes were hand-harvested in successive passes, followed by fermentation in oak barrels and 12 months of ageing on the lees in French oak, with bâtonnage and a restrained proportion of new oak. Le Comte de Malartic Lagraviere 2021 is the white second wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux. It is a dry white Bordeaux built around sauvignon blanc, with a 2021 blend of 87% sauvignon blanc and 13% sémillon. That high sauvignon proportion is part of the vintage story, as sémillon was more affected by frost in 2021.
The fruit was hand-harvested in successive selections, then slowly pressed under inert gas. Fermentation took place in oak barrels, followed by 12 months on fine lees in French oak, including 30% new oak, with bâtonnage during ageing. The winemaking gives the wine structure, yet the available tasting descriptions point above all to citrus clarity, white fruit, light herbal notes and a mineral, (…)Le Comte De Malartic Lagraviere 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Le Comte de Malartic Lagravière 2021 in magnum is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, made by Château Malartic-Lagravière. It is the estate's second white wine, released under the name Le Comte de Malartic since the 2020 vintage. The name refers back to the historic Malartic identity and to Comte Hippolyte Maurès de Malartic.
The 2021 blend is 87% sauvignon blanc and 13% sémillon, sourced from the estate's own vineyards. The white grapes come from a relatively small part of the property, planted on well-draining gravel, clay-rich gravel and a subsoil with shell limestone. That setting supports the focused, fresh style associated with this wine.
The vintage was demanding, with April frost, a cool wet May and later (…)Le Comte De Malartic Lagraviere 2022

Le Comte de Malartic Lagravière 2022 is the white second wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux. It is a dry white Bordeaux led by sauvignon blanc, with sémillon adding its own contribution to the blend.
The 2022 vintage brought drought and several heatwaves, yet the white grapes were harvested early and in healthy condition. That matters in the glass: the wine carries the ripeness of the year while keeping a clear, fresh citrus line.
Careful cellar work shapes the style. The grapes were slowly pressed under inert gas, fermented in oak barrels and aged on the lees with bâtonnage. The oak influence is deliberately restrained, adding texture, subtle spice and a light toasted note rather than (…)Le Comte De Malartic Lagraviere 2022 Magnum (1,5l)
