Daftmill 15y Fife
Temporarily sold out
Daftmill 15y Fife is a fine example of how closely this family-run farm distillery in Fife stays connected to its raw material. The Publican barley was grown on the estate itself, on a 43-acre field, harvested in August 2009, stored on the farm and malted in Alloa during the summer of 2010.
After distillation between November 2010 and the end of January 2011, the whisky spent 15 years on the top floor of Warehouse 2. This limited release brings together 17 First Fill ex-Bourbon Barrels, with 3,294 bottles produced. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are especially rewarding to introduce, because the farming origin, maturation and house freshness all form one clear narrative.

Daftmill 2006 15y

Daftmill 2006 15y is a Scottish single malt with a clear and appealing identity: distilled in 2006, matured for 15 years and bottled at 55.7% ABV. Those details give the whisky its frame without needing to dress it up with unsupported claims.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle where age, distillation year and strength do much of the talking. The flavour profile points towards a combination of fruity, floral and spiced elements, with wood playing a lighter supporting role rather than dominating the whisky.
The fact that these are the last bottles adds a real sense of scarcity. For anyone looking specifically for a 15-year-old Daftmill from the 2006 distillation, that context matters.

Daftmill Summer 2009
Only 2 left in stock!
Daftmill Summer 2009 is a Scotch single malt with the quiet appeal of a clearly defined limited release. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in a run of 1,785 bottles, it has a very specific place rather than feeling like a broad, ongoing expression. With the last bottles now in focus, it naturally stands out at Drankenshop Broekmans among smaller-scale Scotch single malt releases.
Maturation in sherry and bourbon casks gives the whisky its framework, while the supplied profile points away from peat and coastal salinity. The emphasis sits more on floral, fruity and spiced elements, supported by a lighter touch of wood. At 46%, it has enough strength to carry that character without turning the presentation into something overly forceful.

Daftmill Summer 2010

Daftmill Summer 2010 is a Scottish single malt with a clear sense of time and place in the bottle: distilled in July 2010 and matured in bourbon cask. Rather than leaning on an age statement, this release is framed by its season, distillation date and cask background.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Daftmill bottling that stands out quietly. The outturn of 6250 bottles gives it a defined scale, and with the last bottles now in circulation, its availability has become part of the story without needing any exaggeration.
Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its fruit-led and spiced profile, while lighter floral and woody elements remain in the background. It is a focused release for drinkers who appreciate a single malt tied to a (…)Daftmill Summer 2013 13y

Daftmill Summer 2013 13y
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 27/10/2026Daftmill Summer 2013 13y comes from Fife in Scotland, where Daftmill produces whisky on a very small scale using barley grown on its own farm. That farm-grown origin gives this single malt a sense of place that feels unusually direct: the whisky remains closely tied to the land around the distillery.
Distilled in the summer of 2013, this release is one of the final chapters in the annual 2013 vintage series, before the closing Winter Batch. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this naturally stand out: limited in scale, clearly rooted in their origin, and especially engaging for drinkers who follow Daftmill's carefully paced releases.
Maturation took place for around 13 years in 14 first fill bourbon barrels, stored on the upper floor of the distillery's (…)Daftmill Summer Release 2011

Daftmill Summer Release 2011

Daftmill Summer Release 2011 is a single malt with a very particular sense of place and timing. Daftmill is a farm distillery, run by the Cuthbert family during the quieter moments of the farming year, around midsummer and midwinter. That seasonal rhythm is central to the identity of this whisky.
This release was made from Publican barley harvested by John and Sandy on 28 and 29 August 2009. The barley was dried at Daftmill and malted in Alloa in 2010. Distillation took place during the summer season of 2011, with the whisky later bottled from 27 first-fill ex-bourbon barrels from Clermont Springs Distillery in Kentucky.
At 46% ABV and with 6550 bottles released, it is a clearly defined small-scale Daftmill bottling. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is exactly (…)Daftmill Summer Release 2012

Daftmill Summer Release 2012

Daftmill Summer Release 2012 is a Scottish single malt from Fife with a background that feels closely tied to the land around it. The distillery is located near Cupar and is owned by Francis and Ian Cuthbert, whose family has farmed there since the 1980s. Daftmill also has an important place in the modern story of Fife whisky: it was the first malt whisky distillery in the region since Auchertool closed in 1927.
What makes Daftmill stand apart is its genuine farm distillery approach. Francis grows the barley on the estate, and distillation takes place around the agricultural calendar: two months in summer and two months in winter. That seasonal rhythm gives this Summer Release 2012 a very grounded, hands-on character.
Distilled in 2012, matured in a bourbon (…)Daftmill Winter 2008

Daftmill Winter 2008 is a Scottish single malt with a clear sense of place in time. Distilled in 2008 and bottled at 46%, it comes from a release of 5928 bottles, giving it a more defined and limited character than a standard ongoing expression.
The bourbon cask maturation frames the whisky around noticeable wood influence and spice, with fruit and floral notes playing a quieter supporting role. There is no peated emphasis in the profile, so the focus stays on cask, structure and the character of the malt rather than smoke.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Daftmill stands out because only the last bottles remain. For customers looking for a specific 2008 Scottish single malt release, it offers a focused and increasingly scarce snapshot of Daftmill's style.

Daftmill Winter 2010 is a Scottish single malt with a very clear farm-to-cask identity. For this winter release, Publican barley was harvested on 28 and 29 August 2009, then dried and stored at the Daftmill farm before being malted in Alloa during the summer of 2010. The spirit was filled into cask in November and December of that year.
The whisky for this bottling came from 25 first fill bourbon barrels, matured in Daftmill's dunnage warehouse and bottled in 2023 at 46%. Its appeal lies in fruit, citrus, honeyed notes and a measured spicy edge rather than peat or heaviness.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we like for the way it connects raw material, season and maturation in one coherent whisky. With only the last bottles remaining, (…)Daftmill Winter Release 2011

Daftmill Winter Release 2011 is a single malt with a very direct farm-to-glass story. The Publican barley for this release was grown on a 43-acre field and harvested on 28 and 29 August 2009. The whisky for this bottling came from 27 first fill bourbon barrels, filled in December 2011 and matured under the roof of Daftmill's dunnage warehouse until bottling in 2024.
