Domaine Henri Giraud Ay Pinot Noir Grand Cru Cuvée des Froides Terres 2016 is a still red wine from Champagne, not a sparkling champagne. That already gives it a distinct place: a Coteaux Champenois red from Aÿ, a Grand Cru village in the Vallée de la Marne, made from Pinot Noir rather than presented through bubbles.The wine is produced from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Henri Giraud's Aÿ terroir, where the variety plays a central role.
