Fugue De Nenin 2020 is the second wine of Château Nenin in Pomerol. In this vintage, merlot takes the lead, with a blend of 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. The fruit comes from clay-sandy terroirs and younger vines on the Pomerol plateau, giving the wine a rounder, earlier-drinking interpretation of the estate's style.The name Fugue refers to the musical form: a variation on a main theme. In this case, the main theme is Château Nenin's grand vin. The estate has belonged to the Delon family since 1997, the same year Fugue De Nenin was introduced.

About CH NENIN
Château Nenin is a winery from the Pomerol appellation, located on the right bank of Bordeaux in France. The estate belongs to the classic producers of this region, where mainly red wines are made with a dominant share of merlot, supplemented by cabernet franc and sometimes a small amount of cabernet sauvignon. Château Nenin has a history that dates back to the nineteenth century, with a distinctive feature being that it has long been owned by families closely connected to the region. Since 1997, the estate has been owned by the Delon family, who are also known for Château Leoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien. The vineyards of Château Nenin are situated on clay and gravel soils, conditions considered particularly suitable for the typical Pomerol grapes. The winery is known for an elegant style with a refined structure and ageing potential. In addition to the grand vin, this house also produces a second wine under the name Fugue de Nenin. In the international wine world, Château Nenin is regularly appreciated for its consistently high quality, though it does not belong to the most famous names of Pomerol such as Pëtrus or Le Pin.
