Aultmore 21y Single Cask

In stock

Aultmore 21y Single Cask is a mature Speyside single malt with a composed, distillate-led feel. At 21 years old, it carries the weight of extended maturation, while the single cask origin gives it the sense of one specific cask rather than a broad house-style release.

The refill hogshead maturation matters here. It brings a clear wood influence, but not in a way that overshadows the whisky's fruit-driven side. The profile points to fruit and oak as the main themes, supported by gentle spice and without a peated direction.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to place in front of customers who appreciate mature Speyside whisky with a defined cask identity. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that feels (…)

Jura 21y Tide And Time Incl. Box

In stock

Jura 21y Tide And Time is built around the feeling of time passing slowly on Jura, where the movement of the tide becomes part of the whisky's story. It is a Scottish single malt with 21 years behind it, shaped by patience rather than haste.

Its maturation starts in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finish in hand-selected American white virgin oak. That second stage gives the whisky a firmer oak presence and a spiced edge, while the fruit and sweetness remain very much part of the experience. The supplied notes also point to a smoky accent, expressed in a way that sits alongside the richer dessert-like flavours.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a mature Jura with a clear sense of place and theme: tide, time, wood and warmth. Bottled (…)

Glenmorangie 18y Extremely Rare

On request only

Glenmorangie 18y Extremely Rare is a Highland single malt shaped by time and a carefully staged maturation. It spends 15 years in old American white oak bourbon casks, after which around 30% is transferred to Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for a further three years. Once both parts have reached 18 years of age, they are brought back together.

That method gives the whisky its particular sense of finesse: fruit and wood are clearly present, with the Oloroso adding dried-fruit depth and liveliness, while the American oak keeps the sherry sweetness in balance. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Glenmorangie for drinkers who appreciate maturity and detail rather than peat or sheer intensity.

It can be served neat, with a little water or over two or three ice (…)

Tomintoul Five Decades

On request only

Tomintoul Five Decades is a Speyside single malt built around time rather than a single age statement. As a multivintage whisky, it draws its interest from the meeting of different vintages, with the name itself setting the mood for a release shaped by selection and continuity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that naturally stands apart from more regular releases. Its 50% strength gives it a firm presence, while the stated profile points towards fruit and oak as the main pillars, with spice playing a quieter supporting role.

The fact that these are the last bottles, combined with its collector's item positioning, makes Five Decades a considered choice: a whisky for those who appreciate a more distinctive Tomintoul release and the story of (…)

Mortlach 21y 2020

On request only

Mortlach 21y 2020 is a Speyside single malt with a clearly mature profile. Distilled in 1999 and aged for 21 years, it was bottled at cask strength at 56.9%, giving this release a direct, undiluted sense of its long maturation and sherry finish.

Only 7,692 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now in focus, it occupies a particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers looking for an older single malt with limited availability. Its profile is built around fruit, wood influence and a light touch of spice, without peat smoke taking the lead.

The sherry finish adds depth to the 21-year-old character, while the cask strength keeps the whisky firm and concentrated. Rather than relying on excess detail, this Mortlach speaks through age, strength (…)

Ordha Rare Cask Selection 21y

On request only

Ordha Rare Cask Selection 21y is a Scottish blended malt built around maturity rather than spectacle. At 21 years old, it carries the calm depth associated with longer ageing, while the 47.4% strength gives it enough weight to feel composed and expressive.

Only 4,900 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now available, this Ordha has a naturally more limited feel. At Drankenshop Broekmans, that is exactly the kind of whisky we like to present with a little context: not just an older blended malt, but a finite release with a clear sense of place in the glass.

The supplied flavour profile points towards fruit and wood as the main pillars, supported by a lighter touch of spice. No peat is indicated, so the focus stays on mature malt character, cask (…)

Glen Moray 1996 23y (Asta Morris)

On request only

Glen Moray 1996 23y is a Speyside single malt with a very focused identity: distilled in 1996, bottled in 2019, and matured for 23 years in a single bourbon barrel. Rather than being a broad ongoing release, it represents one individual cask and one specific period of maturation.

Only 189 bottles were drawn from this cask, and with the last bottles now indicated, its limited nature is an important part of the appeal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to present to customers who appreciate the connection between age, cask origin and genuine scarcity.

Bottled at cask strength at 49.7%, it keeps the focus close to the cask itself. The flavour profile points toward clear fruit and wood influence, with spice playing a lighter supporting (…)

Glenrothes 2005 14y 50cl (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

In stock

Glenrothes 2005 14 Year Old from Douglas Laing is a Speyside single malt with a very focused identity: one distillery, one sherry butt and a limited outturn of 368 bottles. As part of the Old Particular range, it presents Glenrothes through the lens of a single cask rather than a broader house-style vatting.

Bottled at cask strength and 48.4%, it keeps close to its cask origins without becoming all about alcohol strength. The sherry butt influence sits alongside a flavour profile where fruit and wood are clearly present, supported by a lighter thread of spice.

Longmorn 1997 22y (The Single Malts Of Scotland)

On request only

Longmorn 1997 22y is a Speyside single malt built around the voice of one individual cask. Distilled on 25 November 1997 and bottled on 27 July 2020, it spent 22 years maturing in a hogshead. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this release gives a focused look at one specific cask and how it developed over more than two decades.

It was bottled at cask strength, 58.7% ABV, with only 240 bottles drawn. With the last bottles now remaining, its limited nature is very much part of the appeal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to introduce to customers who are drawn to mature Speyside single malts with a clear cask identity.

Anniversary Malt 1993 2nd Edition (The Nectar Of The Daily Drams)

On request only

Anniversary Malt 1993 2nd Edition is a Scottish blended malt built around maturity, discretion and scarcity. Distilled in 1993 and bottled at 25 years of age by The Nectar for The Nectar of the Daily Drams, it keeps its exact origin undisclosed. That shifts the focus away from a distillery name and towards the character of the whisky in the bottle.

Its maturation in a sherry butt gives this release a classic, substantial frame. The stated flavour profile points to clear fruit and wood influence, with spice playing a supporting role. Bottled at 49.3%, it has enough strength to carry that mature profile without making the alcohol level the whole story.

Only 180 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now in circulation, Anniversary Malt 1993 2nd (…)

Karuizawa 1984 30y Warren Khong

Very last one in stock!

Karuizawa 1984 30y Warren Khong is a Japanese single malt with a distinctly rare profile. Distilled in November 1984 and bottled in October 2015, it spent thirty years maturing before being released as a single cask whisky at natural cask strength, 57.7% ABV.

Its sherry maturation is central to the identity of the bottle. Rather than a broad, blended-style composition, this is the voice of one individual cask after three decades of development. The combination of age, cask strength, sherry influence and the Karuizawa name gives it a very specific presence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are treated as specialist pieces rather than everyday whiskies. With only the last bottles remaining and its collector's item status clearly indicated, this (…)

Edradour 12y Caledonia Mini

In stock

Edradour 12y Caledonia Mini is a Highland single malt built around first fill sherry maturation. With 12 years of ageing and a strength of 46%, it sits in a fuller, darker style, where fruit, wood and gentle spice have plenty of room to show.

A small detail gives this whisky a very Scottish touch: Caledonia is signed by Dougie MacLean, the renowned Scottish singer. It adds a personal note to the release without taking attention away from what matters most in the glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this mini as an approachable way to discover the Caledonia style. It carries enough depth to be taken seriously, yet the smaller format makes it easy to explore before choosing a larger bottle.

The aroma opens with clear sherry notes, clove and a (…)

Linkwood 1978 37y 2016

Very last one in stock!

Linkwood 1978 37y 2016 is a Speyside single malt where age and origin do much of the talking. Distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2016 after 37 years, it belongs to a style of whisky in which time, cask influence and distillery character become closely intertwined. The use of sherry and bourbon casks frames the whisky around mature wood influence and clear fruit, with spice playing a more supporting role in the stated profile.

Bottled at 50.3%, this is presented at cask strength rather than reduced to a standard drinking strength. For a whisky of this age, that detail matters: it keeps the focus on concentration and the personality of the casks. With 6,114 bottles produced, and with the remaining stock marked as last bottles and a collector's item, this Linkwood has a (…)

Dalwhinnie 30y 2020

Dalwhinnie 30y 2020 is a Highland single malt where age is very much part of the conversation. Distilled in 1989 and matured for 30 years, it presents Dalwhinnie in a more mature, reflective form.

The refill hogshead maturation gives the whisky a clear wood presence without turning it into a purely oak-driven dram. The supplied flavour profile points mainly towards fruit and wood, with spice playing a quieter supporting role. Peat smoke and salty notes are not central to its style.

Bottled at 51.9%, it is presented at cask strength, keeping the whisky closer to its natural strength than a standard reduced bottling. With 6,978 bottles produced and only the last bottles remaining, this release has a special place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers looking (…)

Bladnoch 27y Talia

Bladnoch 27y Talia is a Scottish Lowland single malt with age as one of its defining features. Twenty-seven years of maturation gives this whisky a mature presence, while the supplied flavour profile keeps it firmly away from peat smoke or coastal saltiness.

Its bourbon cask maturation frames the whisky around a clear combination of fruit and wood. Rather than relying on heavy smoke or bold spice, Talia appears to sit in a more composed register, with fruit and cask influence carrying the main story and a lighter spicy accent in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would naturally bring this Bladnoch into the conversation for someone exploring older Lowland single malts with a non-peated style and a flavour direction built around maturity, fruit and measured (…)

Knappogue Castle 1951 36y

In stock

Knappogue Castle 1951 36y is the kind of Irish whiskey where the dates immediately set the tone. Distilled in 1951 and bottled in 1987, this pure pot still whiskey spent 36 years maturing in sherry casks. Its provenance adds real weight to the story: it comes from the now-closed B. Daly distillery.

As a single cask release with collector status, it sits in a very particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans. This is not presented as an everyday Irish whiskey, but as a rare surviving link to a vanished distillery and a long period of maturation.

The style is shaped by mature wood, fruit and a gentle thread of spice. The sherry cask maturation gives the whiskey depth, while peat and salinity are not part of its profile.

Macaloney Kildara

On request only

Macaloney Kildara is a Canadian single malt with a clear focus on grain, distillation and cask work rather than an age statement. It is triple distilled and made from Canadian barley, giving the whisky its identity through production choices and maturation rather than through time alone.

The cask selection is an important part of its story: bourbon, Oloroso, virgin oak and PX casks all play a role. That points to a style where fruit and oak are clearly present, supported by gentle spice and a noticeable sherry influence. There is no peated side here; Kildara speaks more through dark fruit, sweetness, wood and layered cask character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to show to whisky drinkers who are curious about single malt beyond (…)

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of Glenlivet that suits customers looking for refinement and age rather than peat or heavy power. It is a Speyside whisky shaped by time, cask influence and a measured sense of depth.

Ben Nevis 1996 23y Wtbirds is a Highland single malt with a very defined sense of origin: distilled in 1996, matured for 23 years and bottled in 2019 by The Whisky Trail by Elixir as part of the Birds Series.

Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 51.8%, it presents one individual cask rather than a broad house-style interpretation. Only 258 bottles were released, and with the product marked as last bottles, this is a small-scale release that is no longer widely available.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, independent bottlings like this are valued because they show a distillery through a very specific lens. In this case, the emphasis sits on mature Highland single malt character, with fruit and wood clearly present and a light spicy accent adding (…)

Distilled on 2 December 1992 and bottled on 28 October 2019, it spent 26 years maturing before being released at cask strength, carrying its natural intensity at 51.8%.

Drawn from a single hogshead, this release was limited to just 225 bottles. That gives it the feel of a specific cask selection rather than a broad distillery expression. Its collector's item status and last-bottles indication underline the scarcity around this particular Bruichladdich.

Speyside Region 1998 17y (The Whisky Agency)

On request only

Speyside Region 1998 17y is a Scottish single malt with a deliberately quiet identity: the distillery is not disclosed, so the focus shifts to the region, the age and the cask itself. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2015, it spent 17 years maturing before being released.

The appeal lies in its small-scale nature. This was drawn from a single refill sherry cask and bottled at cask strength, carrying 50.3% alcohol rather than being reduced to a standard bottling strength. The profile points to a whisky where fruit and wood have a clear role, with spice present in a more supporting way.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are interesting because they show a more individual side of Speyside whisky. Only 264 bottles were filled, and the remaining stock (…)

Macaloney Cath-Nah-Aven B10 46 Incl. Box

Macaloney Cath-Nah-Aven B10 46 is a Canadian single malt shaped by Canadian barley and maturation in Oloroso and PX casks. The cask influence is an important part of its identity, bringing a darker, fruit-led side to the whisky while the malt remains part of the conversation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone curious about single malt beyond the familiar Scottish frame, yet still drawn to the depth of sherry maturation. Its profile brings together fruit, oak and gentle spice, with 46% alcohol giving it enough structure to carry those flavours.

With only the last bottles remaining, Cath-Nah-Aven B10 46 has a certain immediacy for drinkers who enjoy this style. There is no age statement here; the focus is on the (…)
