Appleton 1993 29y Hearts Collection is a Jamaican molasses rum built around maturity, strength and clarity of expression. Distilled in 1993 and aged for 29 years, it is bottled at cask strength with an alcoholic strength of 63%, giving the rum a direct and uncompromised presence.
Its character is shaped by a combination of pot still and column distillation, followed by maturation in a bourbon barrel. The available profile points towards fruit and spice as the main accents, with oak playing a supporting role rather than taking over the whole experience.
Within the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Appleton stands out because it brings together long ageing, cask strength and a limited outturn of 3600 bottles. With the last bottles now indicated, it (…)Appleton 1994 26y Hearts Collection

Appleton 1994 26y Hearts Collection is a Jamaican molasses rum built around a very specific set of details: distilled in 1994, aged for 26 years and produced in pot still style. Those facts give the bottle a clear sense of identity, with the emphasis firmly on maturity, origin and concentration.
The bourbon barrel maturation and cask strength bottling at 60% place it among the more powerful and serious Appleton releases. With 3000 bottles produced, marked as a collectors item and now down to the last bottles, this is a release with a distinctly limited presence rather than a regular shelf expression.

Appleton 1995 25y Hearts Collection is a Jamaican molasses rum with a firmly defined identity. Distilled in 1995, matured for 25 years and bottled at cask strength, it presents pot still rum in a concentrated, uncompromising form.
The bourbon barrel maturation supports the rum with clear wood, spice and fruit, while sweetness stays very much in the background. At 63% alcohol, the bottling keeps close to the strength and presence of the cask rather than softening the experience.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out through its age, strength and limited nature. With 3000 bottles produced and the last bottles now available, it is a particularly noteworthy Appleton for those looking at Jamaican rum as a serious collector's item.

Appleton 2002 20y Hearts Collection is a Jamaican rum with real presence: distilled in 2002, aged for twenty years and bottled at cask strength at 63%. It feels like a release built around intensity, maturity and a direct expression of the spirit.
Made from molasses and distilled using pot still and column still production, it brings together Jamaican depth with the influence of bourbon barrel ageing. The flavour profile points clearly toward wood, spice and fruit, with lighter floral and vegetal touches in the background. Sweetness is not the centre of the story here; structure and mature rum character are.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone looking for a serious Jamaican rum with a vintage statement, a (…)Balvenie 21y The 2nd Red Rose

Balvenie 21y The 2nd Red Rose is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky with 21 years of maturation and a wine-matured character at the centre of its identity. Even before tasting it, the name sets it apart from a standard age-stated release: this is a Balvenie with its own particular place in the range.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for those moments when you want maturity, fruit and spice to speak more clearly than smoke or maritime notes. The wine maturation adds an extra angle to the Speyside character, while the lighter wood and floral elements remain in a supporting role.
Bottled at 48.1%, it has enough strength to carry its profile with confidence. With its 21-year age statement and the fact that only the last bottles remain, it is (…)Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1,5l (Velier)

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1.5l is an Australian molasses rum with a strong sense of place. It comes from Beenleigh, a distillery founded in 1884 in Queensland, and is made from molasses sourced from Australia's last privately owned mill. That background gives the bottle a story before the glass is even poured.
The rum is distilled using both columns and pot stills, then aged for 8 years in bourbon barrels. At 60% and bottled at cask strength, it keeps a firm, direct character rather than smoothing away its natural intensity. The 1.5 litre magnum format adds to its distinctive presence, especially as these are the last bottles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Velier bottling sits in the selection for drinkers who appreciate rum with origin, power and detail: (…)Ben Nevis 1970 44y (Berry Bros - Berry's Own Selection)

Ben Nevis 1970 44y is a Highland Scotch whisky with a very precise sense of time. Distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2014, it spent 44 years maturing before being selected by Berry Bros for Berry's own selection.
What makes this release especially focused is its single cask origin. Drawn from one oak cask and bottled at cask strength, it reflects the development of that particular cask rather than a broader blended house style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for the specific story they carry: one year, one cask, one long period of maturation.
The available flavour profile points to a fruit-led whisky, with clear oak influence and a lighter touch of spice. Peat and salt are not part of the emphasis here, so the interest lies in maturity, (…)Ben Nevis 2002 12y Port Matured

Ben Nevis 2002 12y Port Matured is a Highland single malt with a very clearly defined identity. Distilled on 9 December 2002 and bottled in February 2015, it comes from a single cask, so it represents one particular cask-driven interpretation of Ben Nevis rather than a broad house-style release.
The port maturation gives this 12-year-old bottling its own place in the range. At 56.3% ABV, it was bottled at cask strength, keeping the whisky close to the intensity of the cask. With only 684 bottles produced, and with the final bottles now available, it has the kind of limited character that naturally attracts attention from collectors of distinctive single cask Scotch whisky.

Bowmore 10y Devil's Casks Batch 2 is an Islay single malt with a deliberately bold identity. The name sets the mood immediately: a 10-year-old Bowmore bottled at cask strength, carrying 56.3% alcohol.
Sherry maturation is central to its style. The profile brings together clear peat, spice and fruit, with lighter wood influence and a subtle salty edge in support. It is a whisky where the sherry cask presence and the Islay origin sit close together, giving the release a darker, more forceful feel than a regular expression.
Limited to 6000 bottles and marked as a collector's item, Batch 2 has a special place among Bowmore releases. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for customers who are drawn to the combination of cask strength, sherry maturation (…)Caroni 1996 25y Mahesh (Caroni Employees)

Rather than coming from a broad batch, it was drawn from a single bourbon barrel, giving this release a very specific cask identity.
Only 215 bottles were produced, and it was bottled at cask strength at 68.1% ABV. That makes it a rum with real presence, aimed at drinkers who appreciate the individuality of a single cask and the directness of a high-strength bottling. Chichibu 2013 12y Cask #2874 Refill Bourbon Barrel is the kind of Japanese single malt where the individual cask really matters. It was distilled in 2013, matured for twelve years in a refill bourbon barrel and drawn from one single cask, #2874. With only 162 bottles produced, this is a very small release by any standard.
The refill bourbon cask is a key part of the story. Rather than covering the whisky with heavy oak, it is described as preserving freshness and vitality while still allowing a clear sense of maturity to come through. That balance between energy and development is what gives this bottling much of its appeal.
The character described for this Chichibu is especially engaging: sweetness, salinity, acidity and a gentle bitterness all play a role. (…)Chichibu 2014 Single Cask Nectar

At 64.3% ABV, it has been bottled at cask strength, keeping the whisky close to the way it left the barrel. That gives this release a direct, uncompromised feel: no large-scale blending, just the individual development of one bourbon cask.

Daftmill Summer Release 2012 is a Scottish single malt from Fife with a background that feels closely tied to the land around it. The distillery is located near Cupar and is owned by Francis and Ian Cuthbert, whose family has farmed there since the 1980s. Daftmill also has an important place in the modern story of Fife whisky: it was the first malt whisky distillery in the region since Auchertool closed in 1927.
What makes Daftmill stand apart is its genuine farm distillery approach. Francis grows the barley on the estate, and distillation takes place around the agricultural calendar: two months in summer and two months in winter. That seasonal rhythm gives this Summer Release 2012 a very grounded, hands-on character.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about our loyalty programme
What exactly does Broekmans' loyalty programme entail?
You can earn one or more loyalty tokens on almost every bottle you buy on our webshop or in our shop. The number of loyalty tokens you can earn with a bottle is stated unambiguously with the article itself: there are articles for which you don't get any tokens, there are products for which you can only earn a few tokens and there are products for which you can earn a lot of tokens. The price of the product is not decisive here, but you can of course always compare the number of tokens to be earned against the price so that you can save as many tokens as possible by spending as little as possible.
I have saved loyalty tokens, what can I do with them?
The tokens you save with your purchases can be used to get your own personal access to a unique selection of rare bottlings that are in high demand and not readily available to other customers who have not yet saved enough tokens. The number of tokens you need to deploy to gain access to a particular bottling is listed with the loyalty product. The number of tokens required is usually linked to the rarity of the product, its interest in the market and its popularity among bottle flippers.
Why do you operate such a programme?
Our industry has suffered from so-called bottle flippers for years. These are usually speculators who have no specific love or predilection for our products, but take advantage of opportunities by buying up rare bottles cheaply and reselling them at multiple prices. As a result, true lovers of these products invariably pay far too high a price for these unique bottles.
The loyalty programme also allows us to offer and distribute rare limited releases in a fair and transparent way at the original price, without falling into obscure rules or favouritism. Every Broekmans customer fights with equal weapons for these rare bottlings and knows right from the start where they stand and what is required to be able to purchase a particular limited release.
In this way, we try to ensure that the real spirits lovers and collectors can be the first to get access to these unique releases, at least if they consistently choose Drankenshop Broekmans.
Can I buy the products in the loyalty programme without tokens?
No, we do not make any exceptions to this. If a product is included in our loyalty programme, it can only be purchased subject to the use of the required number of loyalty tokens. In this way, we maintain the trust and credibility of our loyalty programme.
Who can participate in the loyalty programme?
Private customers automatically participate in the loyalty programme. Corporate customers are admitted to the programme only after approval. Professionals active in our sector (competitor liquor stores etc) are not admitted to the programme because they would have an unfair advantage over private customers due to the nature of their business and the volume they might purchase from us.
How long will my loyalty tokens remain valid?
Your saved tokens remain valid indefinitely. They disappear from your balance as soon as you use them to purchase a loyalty product. Each token can only be used once.
Do I still have to pay for the loyalty products in the programme?
Yes, the posted price must always be paid: the products in the loyalty programme are not offered for free. By using the tokens, you only obtain the possibility of purchasing the product at the posted price.
I don't have enough tokens to buy a product yet, what should I do?
If you don't yet have enough points to buy a loyalty product, you can opt to order an extra item to make up the points deficit. The order is important here: you first add the extra products with which you earn extra tokens, and then you can add the loyalty product you want to use those points on in the same shopping basket. So you don't have to place and checkout separate orders for this, all that matters is that your balance does not become negative at the end of your order.
Can I transfer my points to another account?
You yourself cannot give away your points to another customer account. If you are in a specific situation and would like to transfer your points to another account, you can contact our customer service by e-mail. It is important that your request to transfer points is sent from the e-mail address that owns the tokens.
Why is this a fair system for limited editions?
We didn't take any chances and built a loyalty programme that we personally support and that we think is fair to the enthusiast.
- It's fairer than a lottery, because with us you don't depend on dumb luck to get those beautiful exclusive bottles into your home. It is enough to consistently shop with us to be at the front of the queue at all the exclusives. Moreover, organising a lottery is prohibited by law.
- It is fair for any budget, as the number of tokens is not primarily determined by the price of the bottles. More important than the amounts you spend with us are the products you buy from us. Anyone who is a bit clever and buys the right bottles from us can quickly accumulate a lot of tokens even on a limited budget.
- It's fair for the private individual, because B2B customers active in our industry (wholesalers, liquor stores, hospitality industry, ...) are excluded from the loyalty programme by default, because they trade in larger volumes due to their trading activities and could therefore unfairly accumulate tokens much faster than the private enthusiast for whom we put all this effort.
- It's fair to the aficionado, because the special and exclusive bottlings that are so sought after by speculators and investors typically yield little to no tokens. In other words, if you as an enthusiast buy your favourite spirits from Broekmans, you are at an undeniable advantage.
I previously placed a guest order, can I still claim the tokens for this order?
Yes, this happens automatically if you later create a customer account with the same mail address you previously placed your guest order with.
What are token packers?
Token packs are the products on our webshop for which you can earn the most tokens per euro spent. In other words, they are the best choice if you want to quickly increase your token balance or close a (small) deficit.
Where can I buy limited edition spirits and possibly have them delivered to my home?

With over 35 years of experience, we offer you the best spirits at the best price, and thanks to our large in-house stock, you will usually receive your order the very next day.
