The brand is based in Jarnac, a city traditionally seen as an important center within the cognac area. Dupuy is considered a small to medium-sized player in the market and is part of the family company Bache-Gabrielsen, which has been the owner since 1905. At Dupuy, much emphasis is placed on classic distillation techniques and the use of eaux-de-vie from different cru's in the Cognac region, with the focus usually on blends based on Ugni Blanc grapes.
