Vanua Rum

Only 3 left in stock!

Vanua Rum stands out first through its origin: Fiji. In the rum category, that immediately gives it a different perspective from the more familiar rum-producing countries. The presentation is straightforward: a Fijian rum from Vanua, bottled at 40% alcohol.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that tends to catch the attention of customers looking to explore rum from a less obvious origin. Its popularity, combined with the fact that only the last bottles remain, gives it a quiet sense of urgency without turning it into a loud sales story.

No specific tasting notes have been provided for Vanua Rum. Based on the available information, it would not be accurate to describe its aroma, palate or finish without speculating.

Planteray Barbados XO 1,75l (Planteray Blend)

In stock

Planteray Barbados XO 1.75l is a generous Barbados rum with a polished, luxurious feel. It was first created as a tribute to master blender Alexandre Gabriel, marking his twentieth year in that role. That sense of craftsmanship is central to the rum: carefully selected aged Barbados rums, historical inspiration and a creative approach to maturation all come together in the blend.

The rums are distilled at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados from molasses fermented for 3 to 5 days. Distillation combines pot still and column still spirit, giving the blend room for depth as well as roundness. Maturation takes place in several types of cask, including white oak, bourbon casks and Ferrand cognac casks, with different levels of toasting. The rums used range from 12 to 20 (…)

Panama 2006 19y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)

In stock

Panama 2006 19y from Cadenhead's is a Panamanian molasses rum with a very clearly defined identity. It belongs to the Cadenhead's Single Cask range, so the rum comes from one individual cask rather than from a broader blend, giving a focused view of this particular maturation.

It was distilled in a traditional column style and matured in a Bourbon Barrel. With 19 years of age and a strength of 55%, it has real presence, yet the supplied tasting profile points just as much toward dark fruit, sweetness and a measured spicy edge as it does toward power.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum to introduce with a little attention: a single cask from Panama, now down to the last bottles, for drinkers who enjoy discovering the personality of one specific (…)

Zacapa 30y

On request only

Zacapa 30y is a Guatemalan molasses-based rum, made in a multicolumn style and matured through the solera system. Its identity is built around refinement and careful ageing rather than raw power, with the different elements coming together in a polished, composed way.

The 30-year indication gives this Zacapa a more mature position, while American oak adds a measured woody influence. The main impression is still led by fruitiness and sweetness, supported by gentle spice and a light floral accent.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for Zacapa with a more developed and considered character. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has a more limited feel than a regular shelf release.

Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva

In stock

Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva is a Guatemalan molasses-based rum bottled at 40%. Its character is built around a clearly fruity and sweet profile rather than a vegetal or sharply dry style, giving it an inviting place within the world of molasses rum.

Multicolumn distillation and maturation in American Oak help frame the expression. Wood and spice are present, but they sit in a supporting role behind the sweeter and fruit-led side of the rum. No age statement is provided, so the focus here is less on a number and more on the overall style in the glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Zacapa sits comfortably among rums for drinkers looking for a Guatemalan expression with fruit, sweetness, gentle spice and a restrained touch of oak.

Centenario 12y Gran Legado

In stock

Centenario 12y Gran Legado is a Costa Rican rum shaped by maturation, blending and a gently fruit-led style. Made from sugar cane juice and distilled using multicolumn distillation, it also draws on the solera system to form its final composition.

A key part of its identity is maturation in American white oak casks that previously held Scotch whisky. That detail gives the rum a distinct place within Centenario's range, while staying close to the brand's traditional ageing approach.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a 12-year-old rum for those who enjoy a soft, lightly sweet profile with red fruit, vanilla and a measured touch of wood. It has enough character to be interesting, while remaining smooth and easy to spend time with.

Barcelo Dark Gran Anejo

Barcelo Dark Gran Anejo is a rum from the Dominican Republic with a darker, fruit-forward and sweet-leaning style. Although the name points to Gran Anejo, no specific age statement is given; the interest here lies more in its origin, multicolumn distillation and maturation in bourbon barrels.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for Dominican rum with a clear fruity and sweeter side, while keeping oak and spice in a supporting role. The bourbon barrel influence is present, but it does not take over the whole character.

Bottled at 37.5%, Barcelo Dark Gran Anejo stays approachable in style, with sugar cane juice, Dominican origin and bourbon cask influence giving the rum its particular direction.

Providencia Rum

In stock

Providencia Rum comes with a deliberately simple set of confirmed details: the name, the rum category and its 40% ABV. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we prefer to present a bottle like this honestly, without adding an origin story, maturation detail or style description that is not part of the supplied information.

As this reference is marked as last bottles, its appeal lies partly in its limited remaining availability within the range. It is a straightforward rum listing: no unnecessary claims, just a clearly named bottle at 40% for those who are looking specifically for Providencia Rum.

No specific tasting notes or aroma details are provided for Providencia Rum. For that reason, we do not assign invented notes of fruit, spice, wood or any other flavour. The (…)

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1,5l (Velier)

Very last one in stock!

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1.5l is an Australian molasses rum with a strong sense of place. It comes from Beenleigh, a distillery founded in 1884 in Queensland, and is made from molasses sourced from Australia's last privately owned mill. That background gives the bottle a story before the glass is even poured.

The rum is distilled using both columns and pot stills, then aged for 8 years in bourbon barrels. At 60% and bottled at cask strength, it keeps a firm, direct character rather than smoothing away its natural intensity. The 1.5 litre magnum format adds to its distinctive presence, especially as these are the last bottles.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Velier bottling sits in the selection for drinkers who appreciate rum with origin, power and detail: (…)

Patridom XO Cognac Tube Incl.

In stock

Patridom XO Cognac is a Dominican rum built around locally grown sugar cane and given an added layer through a Cognac cask finish. The Patridom range focuses on premium rums from the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate.

What gives this release its own direction is the second maturation. After its tropical ageing, it spent an additional period in selected casks in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. The result stays soft and gently sweet, but the fruit feels more developed, with light spice and a subtle touch of wood adding depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Patridom has a natural place among rums for drinkers who enjoy a rounded, fruit-led style with a little extra refinement (…)

Barcelo 11y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Barcelo 11y is a Dominican rum with a distinctly small-batch feel. Elizabeth Yard bottled it after 11 years of maturation at 51.15%, keeping it at cask strength rather than softening it down to a more standard drinking strength.

Its appeal lies in the fact that it comes from a single Bourbon Barrel, with only 92 bottles drawn from that cask. That gives this release a very specific identity: less a broad house expression, more a close look at one individual barrel. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value these kinds of bottlings because they show a more focused side of rum, shaped by one cask and one moment in maturation.

Traditionally column distilled, the rum leans most clearly toward fruit, supported by gentle wood, spice and sweetness. The 11 years of age, the (…)

Ron Esclavo 4x20cl 80cl

This is a molasses-based Esclavo rum, distilled in a multicolumn style and matured in bourbon casks. The character suggested here is led by fruit, sweetness and spice, with a lighter touch of wood in support. It is not presented as a vegetal style; the emphasis sits more on warmth, roundness and spiced fruit.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, sets like this are valued because they make exploration feel relaxed and approachable without losing the specialist character of the product. This Esclavo pack has found a steady (…)

Mezan Dominican Republic 2010 is a molasses-based rum from the Dominican Republic, bottled as part of the Mezan Vintages range. With its 2010 vintage and 10 years of age, it has a clear sense of time and origin rather than feeling like a generic rum expression.

Multicolumn distillation and maturation in bourbon cask shape a style where fruity and sweeter impressions sit at the centre. Oak and spice are present, but more as quiet support than as the main story. Bottled at 46%, it carries a little extra weight while keeping the focus on its approachable Dominican rum character.

Malecon 8y Gran Reserva

Malecon 8y Gran Reserva is a Cuban molasses-based rum, aged for eight years and bottled at 40%. The Gran Reserva name points to a matured style, but the available profile suggests a rum where oak remains a supporting element rather than the main focus.

Its multicolumn distillation and bourbon cask maturation give it a composed, polished framework. The fruit side is the clearest part of the profile, while wood, spice, sweetness and a light floral touch sit more quietly around it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this Malecon among the rums for customers looking for a well-aged Cuban style with a fruit-led character and measured cask influence. It is not a rum built on excess, but on a clean and approachable sense of balance.

Belroy's Rum

In stock

Belroy's Rum is a Jamaican molasses rum shaped by origin, distillation and cask influence rather than by an age statement. It brings together pot still and column distillation, giving the rum a layered yet straightforward foundation.

Maturation in bourbon barrel adds a gentle touch of wood, while the fruit-driven side remains the clearest part of its profile. Light spice, soft sweetness and a subtle floral note sit around that fruit without taking over. It reads as a Jamaican rum with a clear identity, presented in a measured, approachable way.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle has its place among rums that tell their story through honest building blocks: Jamaica, molasses, bourbon barrel and a blend of distillation styles. With the last bottles now (…)

Emb Blend 14y Continental (Velier And Scheer)

In stock

Emb Blend 14y Continental is a Jamaican rum from Velier, bottled as Velier and Scheer. Made from molasses and distilled in a pot still, it spent 14 years in a bourbon cask. Taken together, those details point to a rum with substance: mature, firm in style and shaped by a combination of distillate character and cask ageing.

It is bottled at cask strength, with an alcohol level of 64.8%. That strength gives the rum a serious presence and makes it a bottle to approach with time and attention. At Drankenshop Broekmans, Velier releases such as this are valued for the way they show rum in a more direct, less softened form.

The bourbon cask influence gives it a gentle wooden frame rather than a heavily oaked profile. Together with multicolumn distillation and a bottling strength of 46%, the emphasis sits mainly on fruit, supported by light spice, soft sweetness and a subtle floral edge.

Planteray Black Cask 2025

Not available for shipping

Planteray Black Cask 2025 is a limited edition rum built around Planteray's distinctive double maturation approach. The rum comes from two production sites mentioned in the supplied information: West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and Trinidad Distillers Ltd. It is made from molasses, fermented for 3 to 4 days, then distilled using pot stills and column stills.

The cask journey is what gives this release its identity. It first matures for several years in a tropical climate in 200-litre bourbon casks, before travelling to France for further ageing in heavily toasted 350-litre Ferrand casks. That second maturation adds complexity, elegance and a subtle smoky touch, while supporting the rum's fruity, spiced and softly sweet side.
