Ricci Dynasty (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

Ricci Dynasty by Famille Ricci is a molasses-based blended rum built from four carefully selected sources of old rum. South America, the Caribbean, Asia and Oceania each contribute to the final composition, giving the blend a broad sense of origin without losing sight of balance.
After selection, the rum undergoes a second maturation in different casks. That extra stage is used to enrich the aromatic range, while the final blend is decided through tasting. It gives Ricci Dynasty a clear focus on the art of blending rather than on a single country or single style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy a softer, more generous profile with fruity and sweet accents. The combination of pot still and column distillation supports that (…)Vizcaya Rum Cristal Light

Vizcaya Rum Cristal Light is a rum from the Dominican Republic, with the name pointing towards a clear, lighter style within the Vizcaya range. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for drinkers specifically looking for that lighter Cristal expression, while still carrying a full 40% alcohol strength.

No specific tasting notes have been provided for Vizcaya Rum Cristal Light. For that reason, we do not add aromas, texture or finish descriptions that are not supported by the available product data.

Amrut Two Indies Rum is an Indian molasses-based rum bottled at 42.8%. One of the most interesting points here is the combination of pot still and column distillation, bringing together two different approaches within the same rum.
It is matured in bourbon cask, giving it a wood-aged frame without making wood the dominant feature in the profile provided. The emphasis sits more on fruitiness and sweetness, with spice, wood and a light floral touch playing a supporting role.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers who want to explore an Indian style with a clear identity, where origin, distillation and maturation matter more than an age statement.
The profile points to a rum where fruitiness and sweetness are clearly present. (…)Planteray Barbados XO 1,75l (Planteray Blend)

Planteray Barbados XO 1.75l is a generous Barbados rum with a polished, luxurious feel. It was first created as a tribute to master blender Alexandre Gabriel, marking his twentieth year in that role. That sense of craftsmanship is central to the rum: carefully selected aged Barbados rums, historical inspiration and a creative approach to maturation all come together in the blend.
The rums are distilled at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados from molasses fermented for 3 to 5 days. Distillation combines pot still and column still spirit, giving the blend room for depth as well as roundness. Maturation takes place in several types of cask, including white oak, bourbon casks and Ferrand cognac casks, with different levels of toasting. Vanua Rum stands out first through its origin: Fiji. In the rum category, that immediately gives it a different perspective from the more familiar rum-producing countries. The presentation is straightforward: a Fijian rum from Vanua, bottled at 40% alcohol.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that tends to catch the attention of customers looking to explore rum from a less obvious origin. Its popularity, combined with the fact that only the last bottles remain, gives it a quiet sense of urgency without turning it into a loud sales story.
No specific tasting notes have been provided for Vanua Rum. Based on the available information, it would not be accurate to describe its aroma, palate or finish without speculating.Lazy Dodo Pineapple & Vanilla

Panama 2006 19y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)

Panama 2006 19y from Cadenhead's is a Panamanian molasses rum with a very clearly defined identity. It belongs to the Cadenhead's Single Cask range, so the rum comes from one individual cask rather than from a broader blend, giving a focused view of this particular maturation.
It was distilled in a traditional column style and matured in a Bourbon Barrel. With 19 years of age and a strength of 55%, it has real presence, yet the supplied tasting profile points just as much toward dark fruit, sweetness and a measured spicy edge as it does toward power.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum to introduce with a little attention: a single cask from Panama, now down to the last bottles, for drinkers who enjoy discovering the personality of one specific (…)Zacapa 30y

Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva is a Guatemalan molasses-based rum bottled at 40%. Its character is built around a clearly fruity and sweet profile rather than a vegetal or sharply dry style, giving it an inviting place within the world of molasses rum.

No age statement is provided, so the focus here is less on a number and more on the overall style in the glass.

Centenario 12y Gran Legado is a Costa Rican rum shaped by maturation, blending and a gently fruit-led style. Made from sugar cane juice and distilled using multicolumn distillation, it also draws on the solera system to form its final composition.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a 12-year-old rum for those who enjoy a soft, lightly sweet profile with red fruit, vanilla and a measured touch of wood. It has enough character to be interesting, while remaining smooth and easy to spend time with.
