Ardmore 1998 23y (The Single Malts Of Scotland)

On request only

Ardmore 1998 23y is a Highland single malt built around the identity of one individual cask. Distilled on 27 May 1998 and bottled on 21 April 2022, it spent 23 years maturing in a hogshead before being released.

Only 223 bottles were drawn from that cask, bottled at cask strength at 51.2%. Rather than presenting a broad distillery style, this release captures the development of a single cask at one particular point in time.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are appreciated for their sense of focus and limited availability. With the last bottles now indicated, it is clearly the kind of release that cannot simply be repeated once the cask is gone.

The stated flavour profile points to a wood-led whisky, with the cask influence clearly (…)

Jim Beam Kentucky Dram 1l

On request only

Jim Beam Kentucky Dram 1l presents the Jim Beam name in a generous one-litre bottle, with a clear American whiskey identity. Its United States origin and the Kentucky reference in the name place it firmly in that American whiskey setting, while the product itself does not rely on an age statement for its positioning.

The key element here is American Oak. The wood influence gives the whiskey its main structure, supported by lighter spicy and fruity accents. At 40% alcohol, it remains straightforward in style, and the litre format makes sense for anyone who likes to keep a familiar American whiskey close at hand.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Jim Beam remains one of those names customers recognise quickly within the American whiskey range. This Kentucky Dram (…)

Caol Ila 2006 18y (The Single Malts Of Scotland) Incl. Box

On request only

Caol Ila 2006 18y is a tightly defined Islay single malt: distilled on 23 August 2006, matured for 18 years in a single refill hogshead and bottled on 24 April 2025. With only 271 bottles drawn from cask #307354, and with the last bottles now indicated, this is the kind of release where the individual cask really matters.

The setting behind the whisky is part of its identity. Caol Ila is located at the foot of the cliffs near Port Askaig on Islay's east coast, and the supplied information describes the distillery as known for elegant, maritime peated whiskies. This bottling stays close to that idea, bringing together smoke, saltiness and mature cask influence in a way that keeps the distillery character visible.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this (…)

Highland Malt2000 21y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky)

On request only

Highland Malt2000 21y is a Scottish single malt with an intentionally undisclosed origin. The name gives just enough to set the scene Highland, distilled in 2000, matured for 21 years while keeping the distillery out of focus. That makes the cask itself the centre of attention.

Bottled in 2022 by Campbeltown Whisky Company under the Watt Whisky label, this release comes from a single sherry hogshead and was filled at cask strength, 55.2% ABV. Only 308 bottles were produced, so it represents one particular cask rather than a broad house style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of whisky that rewards curiosity: mature Highland single malt, shaped by sherry wood, bottled without dilution and now down to the last bottles. The appeal lies in its (…)

Balvenie 14y Week Of Peat Tube Incl.

Only 2 left in stock!

Balvenie 14y Week Of Peat is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky with a subtly different angle. Its name points clearly towards peat, yet the supplied flavour profile suggests a lightly peated style rather than a heavily smoky one.

At 14 years old and bottled at 48.3%, it has enough presence to carry that gentle peat influence alongside the whisky's other elements. Wood, spice, fruit, a saline touch and peat all sit in the lighter range, giving the whisky a more nuanced rather than forceful profile.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Balvenie that adds an extra point of interest to the shelf: recognisably Speyside in origin, but with a restrained smoky dimension for those who enjoy discovering a different side of a familiar name. Additional (…)

Bowmore 1980 30y Queen's Visit

Very last one in stock!

Bowmore 1980 30y Queen's Visit is an Islay single malt with a very precise sense of place and time. It was distilled on 9 August 1980 and bottled on 7 September 2011, after thirty years of maturation. That long ageing period already sets it apart from more regular releases.

Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at cask strength at 46.7%, this is a narrowly defined release rather than a broad house style. Only 156 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now indicated, Drankenshop Broekmans treats it as a particularly specific snapshot of Bowmore from one individual cask.

The stated flavour profile points towards clear wood influence and fruit, with spice, salinity and peat playing supporting roles. In other words, the Islay identity is present, but (…)

Highland Park 21y Incl. Box

In stock

Highland Park 21y is a Scottish single malt from Orkney where age and cask influence shape the conversation. With 21 years behind it, it sits firmly in mature whisky territory, while the use of sherry and bourbon casks adds breadth rather than pushing the whisky into one narrow style.

The appeal here is in the way the elements are measured. Oak is clearly part of the profile, supported by gentler notes of fruit, spice and a light touch of peat. It gives the whisky a developed, composed character without making smoke the dominant theme.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Highland Park 21y as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy older Scottish single malts where maturation, island origin and restrained peat are all part of the experience. Bottled at 46%, it has enough (…)

Caperdonich 18y Peated Incl. Box

In stock

Caperdonich 18y Peated is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 48% after 18 years of maturation. The name immediately points to peat, yet the profile suggests a whisky where smoke is present with restraint rather than taking over completely. Fruit and oak have a clearer role, with peat adding definition around the edges.

American Oak maturation gives the whisky a noticeable wood-driven foundation, while the fruity side keeps the profile from feeling one-dimensional. Gentle spice and a light salty accent add further shape, making this a peated malt with more emphasis on structure and maturity than on sheer smoky intensity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Caperdonich as a thoughtful choice for drinkers who enjoy peat when it sits within a (…)

Port Askaig 45y Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Port Askaig 45y is an Islay single malt where the age statement immediately matters. A 45-year-old whisky from Islay is already a rarity, and this release goes further with spirit distilled in 1968. It carries the feel of an older era of Islay whisky, with a depth and maturity that give the bottle real presence.

The whisky is an assemblage of five sherry casks, brought together one year before bottling. Rather than focusing on a single cask, this Port Askaig is built around the meeting point of long maturation, sherry cask influence and the island character of Islay.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle naturally belongs among the more remarkable releases for those who appreciate aged Scotch whisky with a strong sense of origin. Its 45 years, 1968 distillate (…)

Talisker 30y 2022 Incl. Box

In stock

Talisker 30y 2022 shows the Skye single malt in a mature and concentrated form. Talisker is described as the oldest distillery on the island, part of island life since 1830, and this 30-year-old release brings forward the elements that define its identity: pepper, smoke and fruit, carried with the depth of long ageing.

The bottling celebrates the Cuillin mountain range, the summit of Skye. That reference suits the whisky well. It gives the impression of looking across the island from above, with maritime freshness, spice, gentle smoke and ripe fruit all coming through in a composed way. American Oak adds structure, wood spice and a softer vanilla note without taking attention away from the Talisker character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out (…)

Ardmore 13y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

In stock

Ardmore 13y Tb is a Highland single malt with a clear and recognisable personality. It carries Ardmore's softly peated Highland style, where the smoke is present but does not cover the malt, honeyed notes and fruitier side of the whisky.

Matured for 13 years and drawn from two refill barrels, this release was bottled at 48.5% ABV without chill filtration. That choice suits the whisky well: it keeps the texture and natural character intact, while the refill casks support the spirit rather than weighing it down with heavy wood.

With only 588 bottles released and the final bottles now available, this Ardmore has a fitting place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers looking for a Scottish single malt that combines Highland malt sweetness, gentle peat smoke and a (…)

Laphroaig Four Oak 1l

Temporarily sold out

Laphroaig Four Oak 1l brings together two themes that define this Islay single malt in the supplied profile: a clear peated presence and a noticeable oak-driven side. The name naturally puts wood at the centre of the conversation, and the whisky's character follows that direction with smoke and oak taking the lead, supported by lighter touches of spice, fruit and salt.

There is no age statement here, so the focus sits on style rather than maturation age. Bottled at 40% and presented in a one-litre format, it is a practical way to explore a wood-accented side of Laphroaig while staying firmly within Islay territory. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who appreciate peat, but also want the oak influence to be clearly part of the experience.

Port Askaig 25y New Incl. Box

Temporarily sold out

Port Askaig 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt with real maturity behind it. This 25-year-old release is the second bottling in a series of older Port Askaig whiskies, ranging from 20 to 28 years. Each batch is limited, yet the range is designed so that a following release becomes available as stocks run low.

It has matured entirely in refill American oak hogsheads. That detail says a great deal about the style: the oak is present, but it does not dominate the whisky. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present as a mature Islay whisky where time, cask restraint and layered development matter more than sheer force.

Bottled at 45.8%, it has enough structure to carry its age and island character. Smoke, gentle salinity, spice and (…)

Highland Park Cast Strength Batch 4 Incl. Box

In stock

Highland Park Cast Strength Batch 4 is a Scotch single malt from Orkney with a deliberately powerful presentation. Bottled at 64.3%, it keeps the cask strength character at the centre rather than smoothing everything down.

With no age statement, the focus falls on the identity of this particular batch. The profile is led by wood, with lighter accents of spice, fruit, floral notes, salinity and peat. It is a more direct way to approach Highland Park, shaped by strength and by the layered but restrained flavour dimensions behind it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this sit in that more contemplative corner of the whisky shelf: bottles that invite a slower tasting and a little patience in the glass.

Laphroaig 33y Ian Hunter Batch 3

In stock

Laphroaig 33y Ian Hunter Batch 3 presents an older, more limited side of this Islay single malt. Distilled in 1987 and matured for 33 years in refill bourbon casks, it places time and cask influence at the centre of the experience rather than relying on immediate impact alone.

Bottled at cask strength at 49.9%, Batch 3 was released in a run of 4800 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see a whisky like this as a more contemplative Laphroaig: still rooted in Islay, yet shaped by long maturation and increasingly scarce now that only the last bottles remain.

The supplied flavour profile points towards clear wood and spice, supported by lighter fruity, salty and peated notes. That gives the whisky an Islay connection without presenting peat as the dominant (…)

Old Pulteney Huddart Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Old Pulteney Huddart is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a gently smoky side. The peated cask influence is the key detail here: peat is part of the whisky's identity, but the supplied profile points to a light presence rather than a dominant smoky style.

The character brings together soft peat, a salty touch, light fruit, spice and modest wood influence. With no age statement, the focus is less on a specific number of years and more on the way these elements shape the whisky's personality.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Huddart as a good choice within the range for drinkers looking for a Highland single malt with a restrained smoky accent. Its 46% strength gives the whisky enough presence to carry that profile clearly.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who already appreciate the Bulleit name and want to explore a longer-aged expression. The ten-year age statement and new oak maturation are not just background details here; they shape the way this bourbon presents itself.

Amrut Cask Strength Tube Incl.

Amrut Cask Strength is an Indian single malt with a clear focus on strength and immediacy. Bottled at cask strength, at 61.8%, it keeps a powerful, undiluted presence that gives the whisky real weight in the glass.

Oak cask maturation is central to its profile. The wood influence is clearly present, with lighter touches of fruit and spice in support. The supplied information does not point to peat or salinity, so the character remains centred on cask strength, oak and direct single malt intensity.

Akkeshi Ritto Peated

On request only

Akkeshi Ritto Peated is a Japanese single malt with peat placed clearly at the centre of its identity. There is no age statement here, so the focus shifts to style, strength and cask influence rather than years in wood.

The use of Mizunara oak gives this peated whisky an additional point of interest. Its profile shows peat as the main feature, supported by lighter impressions of wood, spice, fruit and saltiness. That makes it more than a straightforward smoky whisky; the peat is framed by other elements rather than standing alone.

At 55% alcohol, Ritto Peated has a firm presence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who want to explore Japanese single malt from a more powerful, smoky angle. With the last bottles now indicated, it is (…)

Highland Park Set 3x5cl (12y, 18y & Dragon Legend)

In stock

The Highland Park Set 3x5cl brings together three expressions from the Orkney single malt house: Highland Park 12 Year Old, Highland Park 18 Year Old and Dragon Legend. Rather than focusing on one full bottle, it gives you a compact way to explore the range side by side.

Its appeal lies in the comparison. The 12 year old, the 18 year old and Dragon Legend each sit within the same Highland Park family, yet the set leaves room to notice how the style can shift across different expressions. That makes it a thoughtful gift pack, but also a good choice for a calm tasting moment with someone who enjoys Scotch single malt.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of set as a small introduction with real conversation value. Three 5 cl bottles, presented together at (…)

Highland Park 18y Sky Of Orkney Incl. Box

Highland Park 18y Sky Of Orkney places its origin at the heart of the bottle. This is an 18-year-old Scottish single malt from Orkney, and the name itself keeps that island connection firmly in view.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Highland Park for customers who appreciate a mature single malt with a strong sense of place. Sky Of Orkney is best approached as a considered bottle: Scottish, Orcadian, and built around the depth that comes with age.
