Benromach Air Dried Incl. Box
In stock
Benromach Air Dried is a Speyside single malt with a clear focus on virgin oak. That cask choice gives the whisky a more direct wood-and-spice driven personality than a malt shaped only by previously used casks, while still keeping its Scottish Speyside identity at the centre.
Distilled in 2012 and bottled at 46%, it carries no age statement. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Benromach where the cask is not just background information, but an important part of the whisky's voice. Spice is the leading theme, supported by gentle wood, fruit, floral touches and a light peated note.
Air Dried is not presented as a heavily smoky malt or a purely sweet Speyside whisky. Its appeal lies in the way virgin oak, measured peat and Benromach's single malt (…)Compass Box The Lost Blend (Compass Box Limited Edition)

Compass Box The Lost Blend (Compass Box Limited Edition)
Last one in stock!
Compass Box The Lost Blend is a Scotch blended malt from Compass Box, released as a limited edition. With 12,018 bottles produced, it is a clearly defined bottling rather than an endlessly available core expression, giving it a distinct place in the Compass Box range.
The style is built around spice, with lighter layers of fruit, floral character, wood influence and gentle peat. That makes it a whisky of composition rather than one single dominant note: the interest lies in how those elements are arranged together.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone who enjoys exploring Scottish malt whisky through the lens of a skilled blender. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry its character clearly, while (…)Glen Spey 2008 14y Ww (Campbeltown Whisky Company)

Glen Spey 2008 14y Ww (Campbeltown Whisky Company)
Only 3 left in stock!
Glen Spey 2008 14y Ww is a Speyside single malt with a very clearly defined identity. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in August 2022 after 14 years of maturation, it has been released at cask strength, carrying 54.8% alcohol.
Its main appeal lies in the single cask nature of the whisky. Drawn from one hogshead, it represents one particular cask rather than a broad house-style composition. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we like to point out to customers who enjoy whisky with a precise origin and a more individual voice.
These are the last bottles, adding to the sense that this is a finite release rather than a continuously available expression. The attraction is easy to understand: Speyside single malt, 14 years of age, cask strength and (…)Ardnamurchan The Midgie 2026

Ardnamurchan The Midgie 2026
| 1 review
In stockArdnamurchan The Midgie 2026 is the third edition of an annual release that quickly became one of the distillery's most sought-after expressions. Its name refers to the infamous little Scottish midge that accompanies every Highland summer, and that playful reference suits the whisky well: this is a fruitier, slightly sweeter and more light-hearted take on classic Ardnamurchan Single Malt.
For this edition, the port influence has been further refined. Peated and unpeated whisky matured in Ruby and Tawny Port casks is combined with unpeated spirit from bourbon casks. That combination brings red fruit to the front, while smoke and spice remain part of the Ardnamurchan signature without making the whisky feel heavy.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a (…)Starward X Lagavulin Incl. Box

Starward X Lagavulin Incl. Box

Starward X Lagavulin brings two whisky worlds into the same glass. Starward contributes its Australian sense of curiosity and tropical fruit character, while Lagavulin appears through casks that had been steeped in its unmistakable Islay malt, known here for richness, smoke and intensity.
This release marks Starward's first collaboration with a distillery, giving it a special place in the brand's story. The whisky spent a further 18 months maturing in these Lagavulin casks, allowing Starward's tropical side to meet a peated, smoky influence from Scotland. It is not simply an Australian single malt with a twist, nor a straightforward Islay-style whisky, but a meeting point between the two.

Glendronach Ode Embers Incl. Box
In stock
Glendronach Ode Embers presents a rarer, peated side of this Highland single malt. It is described as a tribute to older traditions, while still keeping the sherry-matured identity at the centre of the whisky.
The maturation is mainly in Oloroso sherry casks, with added depth from Pedro Ximénez casks. That gives the whisky a darker, spiced and sweetly roasted foundation, with peat smoke woven through rather than pushed to the front. At 48.4% alcohol, it has enough weight to carry those flavours with confidence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Glendronach as a particularly interesting bottle for drinkers who enjoy sherry-matured single malt but want a gentle smoky layer in the glass. It is warm, spiced and subtly peated rather than dominated by (…)Ardmore 8y (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

Ardmore 8y (Douglas Laing Old Particular)
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 27/10/2026Ardmore 8y from Douglas Laing's Old Particular Small Batch Collection is all about a focused cask selection. Rather than drawing from a broad vatting, this Highland single malt comes from a limited number of ex-bourbon barrels, keeping the whisky close to its own distillery character.
Bottled at 48.4% ABV without colouring or chill filtration, it reflects the Old Particular approach: present the whisky with minimal intervention and let the natural texture and flavour speak. The result is a young but expressive Ardmore, with malt sweetness, orchard fruit, gentle peat smoke and spice forming the main thread.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rewarding choice for drinkers who enjoy Highland single malt with a lightly smoky edge rather than a heavily (…)Balvenie 19y The Week Of The Peat Tube Incl.

Balvenie 19y The Week Of The Peat Tube Incl.
In stock
Balvenie 19y The Week Of The Peat is a Speyside single malt from Scotland with a name that immediately sets the tone: peat is part of the identity, but it does not take over the whole whisky. At 19 years old and bottled at 48.3%, it has the maturity and strength to carry that idea with confidence.
The interest here lies in the contrast between Speyside origin, a clearly spicy core and a lighter peated accent. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would describe this as a whisky for someone who wants more edge and depth than a very gentle single malt, without moving into an overwhelmingly smoky style.
Its profile is built around spice, with fruit, floral notes, wood and peat playing more supporting roles. The Week Of The Peat therefore feels less like a peat-driven (…)Chichibu 2017 8y Cask #8253 Heavily Peated 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel

Chichibu 2017 8 Year Old Cask #8253 Heavily Peated is a Japanese single malt with a forceful, clearly defined personality. Distilled in 2017, matured for eight years and bottled at cask strength at 63.9%, it is a whisky built around intensity rather than restraint.
Its first fill bourbon barrel maturation brings vanilla, honeyed and chocolate-like notes into the picture, while the heavily peated style adds smoke and medicinal depth. The product information even places its profile in the direction of certain well-known peated Islay whiskies, though here it remains very much a single cask Chichibu, shaped by cask #8253 and made from Concerto barley.

Amrut Fusion XI is an Indian single malt whisky bottled at a confident 50% alcohol. Rather than placing the focus on an age statement, this release draws attention to its origin and maturation: a single malt from India matured in bourbon and port casks.
That combination gives the whisky its own direction. The flavour profile points first to spice, with lighter fruit, floral and woody elements around it, plus a gentle peated accent. It is a style with presence, shaped more by cask influence and character than by a stated age.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers who enjoy discovering single malt beyond the most familiar whisky regions. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a clearly defined take on a Scottish single malt. Its profile places spice at the centre, supported more gently by fruit, wood, floral tones and a light peated note.
There is also a practical reason to give it attention: these are the last bottles. Once this batch is gone, this exact Ardmore 13 year old Rcp°11 bottling is not simply replaced by another identical release.

Mars Komagatake Yaku 2020 is a Japanese single malt from Mars Maltage with a notably direct presentation. Bottled at cask strength at 53%, it keeps its force close to the cask rather than smoothing everything into a gentler style.
The oak cask maturation gives the whisky its framework, while the supplied flavour profile points most clearly towards spice, supported by lighter floral, fruity, woody and gently peated elements. With no age statement, the focus is less on a number of years and more on this particular Yaku 2020 release within the Komagatake name.

Kavalan The Peatist Oloroso

Kavalan The Peatist Oloroso brings Kavalan's fruit-driven style into a more heavily peated setting. It belongs to the Peatist range, a permanent series built around peated whisky and Kavalan's wish to explore flavour in a more adventurous, aromatic direction.
For this Oloroso release, the whisky matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, giving the smoke a darker and richer frame. As a single cask bottling at cask strength, 57.8%, it keeps its intensity intact rather than polishing the edges away. It is also non chill filtered, reinforcing the impression of a whisky presented with a clear and uncompromised identity.

Macaloney An Aba is a Canadian single malt with a lightly peated profile, made from Canadian barley and local peat. The peat influence is present without taking over, adding a gentle smoky layer rather than turning the whisky into a heavily peated style.
A notable part of its identity comes from the range of casks used: Kentucky Bourbon, Spanish Oloroso and PX, Portuguese red wine casks and virgin American oak. Together they point the whisky towards a spiced character, with fruit, floral notes and wood playing more supporting roles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see An Aba as an interesting way to approach Canadian single malt through local ingredients, restrained peat and a broad cask composition. It has enough individuality to stand apart, while staying (…)Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 Incl. Box

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 presents the annual Cask Strength series at its boldest so far. This Lowland single malt is bottled straight from the casks, without water being added, so at 59.8% it stays close to the feeling of tasting a sample directly in the maturation warehouse.
The defining choice here is the marriage created by the master blender. Oloroso Sherry casks bring richness and red fruit, while casks that previously held heavily smoked Islay whisky add a surprising smoky twist. It gives this release a darker, fuller and more forceful side of Lochlea, carried by sweet depth, spice and smoke.

The most noticeable part of its profile is spice. Wood is present, but not pushed to the front at the expense of everything else. Lighter fruity and floral elements add some lift around that spiced core, while peat smoke and salty notes are not part of its main character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of single malt we place with whiskies that show cask influence in a clear, approachable way, without moving into smoky or coastal territory.
