Amrut 2017 5y Madeira
On request only
Amrut 2017 5y Madeira is an Indian single malt with a very focused cask-led identity. Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2022, it comes from a single Madeira-matured cask, so the interest here lies in a specific cask selection rather than a broad, recurring release.
Bottled at cask strength and 60% alcohol, it presents Amrut in a bold, undiluted form. The profile points toward fruit, spice and wood influence, with a lighter floral side in support. The Madeira maturation is the thread that ties the whisky together, giving this five-year-old release its particular direction.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to drinkers who enjoy the individuality of single cask whisky. With only the last bottles remaining, it also carries (…)Knappogue Castle 1995 25y (La Maison Du Whisky - Ex Libris)

Knappogue Castle 1995 25y is an Irish single malt with a very clearly defined identity: distilled in 1995, bottled in 2021 and aged for 25 years. That gives the bottle a sense of time and place rather than the feel of a standard release.
Bottled by La Maison du Whisky as part of the Ex Libris selection, it comes from a single bourbon barrel and was released at cask strength, 50.9% ABV. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to present when someone is looking for a bottling with a precise story behind it: one cask, one vintage, one mature Irish single malt.
Its single cask origin, long ageing and collectors item status make it a distinctive bottle within the Irish whiskey category. With only the last bottles remaining, it carries the (…)Chichibu 2013 Virgin

Chichibu 2013 Virgin is a Japanese single malt with a very defined sense of place and cask. Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2020, it comes from a single Virgin Oak cask and was released at cask strength, carrying its natural intensity at 50.9% ABV.
The appeal here lies in its focus. This is not a broad vatting designed for consistency across many casks; it is one individual cask, captured in a limited run of 212 bottles. The Virgin Oak element gives the wood an important role in the story, supported by a profile where wood, spice and fruit all stand clearly forward.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for those who follow rare Japanese single malts with a clear cask identity. With only the last bottles remaining and its status as a collector's (…)Paul John Kanya

Paul John Kanya is an Indian single malt whisky with a character that steps away from the more familiar Scotch frame of reference. Bottled at 50%, it has a confident presence in the glass, while its identity is not built around an age statement.
The bourbon barrel maturation gives it a setting where wood influence, spice and fruit come clearly forward, supported by a lighter floral accent. Peat is not the defining feature here; the focus is more on cask-driven depth, warmth and structure.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that gives curious whisky drinkers a focused look at Indian single malt in a fuller-strength style. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has a naturally more limited feel on the shelf.

Amrut 2016 8y Virgin Oak is an Indian single malt with a very focused identity: one cask, eight years of maturation and bottled at cask strength. Distilled in April 2016 and bottled in July 2024, it carries its strength naturally at 60% ABV.
The Virgin Oak cask gives the whisky a clear wood-driven presence, supported by pronounced spice and fruit. A lighter floral side sits in the background, adding a little lift without taking away from the firm, direct nature of the single cask style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Amrut release we see as a precise snapshot rather than a broad house style. Arran The Explorers Series N°4 Drumadoon Point is a Scottish single malt from the Isle of Arran with maturity and release character at its centre. Aged for 23 years, sherry matured and bottled at cask strength at 49.5%, it sits firmly in the more serious side of Arran's range.
As the fourth release in The Explorers Series, it was bottled in an edition of 9,000 bottles. With only the last bottles remaining and the whisky marked as a collector's item, there is a clear sense of scarcity here, but the appeal is not only in the limited nature of the release. Drumadoon Point gives this bottling its own identity within the series.

Glendronach 1993 28y Lmdw is a Highland single malt built around age, cask individuality and natural strength. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2022, it spent 28 years maturing before being drawn from a single puncheon and bottled at cask strength, at 52.3% ABV.
That one cask produced 634 bottles, and with this release now down to its last bottles, it has a particular place in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. It is the kind of whisky we like to present as a focused view of one mature cask rather than as a broad house-style expression.
The flavour direction points towards fruit, spice and wood as the main elements, supported by a lighter floral touch. Peat and salinity are not part of the stated profile, so the emphasis remains on maturation, cask presence (…)Glendronach 1994 27y Batch 19 Incl. Box

Glendronach 1994 27y Batch 19 is the kind of Highland single malt where the appeal lies in patience, provenance and a very specific cask. Distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2021, it carries the 27-year age statement from its name with real significance: one individual cask, bottled at a natural cask strength of 53%.
The Oloroso Sherry cask is the central influence here. The flavour profile points towards clear fruit, spice and mature wood, with a lighter floral accent and no peat smoke shaping the style. Rather than relying on smoke or coastal notes, this bottling is built around sherry maturation, age and the concentration of a single cask release.

This 18-year-old release was distilled in 2006 and bottled at 47.2%, after maturation in ex-Bourbon casks made from American white oak and further enrichment in hand-selected Matusalem and Amoroso Sherry casks.
That cask combination gives the whisky a layered identity. The Bourbon wood provides structure and a clear oak presence, while the Sherry casks bring darker fruit, spice and deeper cocoa-like tones into focus. It is unchill filtered and presented at natural colour, keeping the emphasis close to the whisky's own maturation character.

At 65.2% ABV, this was bottled at cask strength, keeping the whisky close to the way it came from the cask. The refill hogshead seems central to its style: enough wood, spice and fruit to give structure, while still leaving room for the individual character of the whisky to come through.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, the interest here lies in the combination of precision and scarcity. One cask, twelve years of maturation, a release of fewer than three hundred bottles and now only limited stock remaining. It is not a broad house-style (…)Macallan 30y Sherry Oak

Miltonduff 1990 #3809 is a fine example of why independent bottlings can be so rewarding.
