Lochside 1981 37y (The Whisky Agency)
Only 3 left in stock!
Lochside 1981 37y is the kind of whisky where age, scarcity and provenance do most of the talking. Distilled in 1981 and bottled in December 2018, this Highland single malt brings together 37 years of maturation in a cask strength release.
Drawn from a single sherry butt and bottled at 48.6%, it presents one individual cask rather than a broad house style. That gives the whisky a very specific identity: one distillation year, one cask, one moment in time. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they combine maturity with genuine limited availability.
The collectors item indication and the fact that these are the last bottles add to its quiet sense of importance. This is not a whisky built around loud claims, but around a clear and (…)Ben Nevis 1970 44y (Berry Bros - Berry's Own Selection)

Ben Nevis 1970 44y (Berry Bros - Berry's Own Selection)
Only 3 left in stock!
Ben Nevis 1970 44y is a Highland Scotch whisky with a very precise sense of time. Distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2014, it spent 44 years maturing before being selected by Berry Bros for Berry's own selection.
What makes this release especially focused is its single cask origin. Drawn from one oak cask and bottled at cask strength, it reflects the development of that particular cask rather than a broader blended house style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for the specific story they carry: one year, one cask, one long period of maturation.
The available flavour profile points to a fruit-led whisky, with clear oak influence and a lighter touch of spice. Peat and salt are not part of the emphasis here, so the interest lies in maturity, (…)Glenglassaugh 1973 46y The Nectar

Glenglassaugh 1973 46y The Nectar
| 1 review
Very last one in stock!Glenglassaugh 1973 46y The Nectar is a Scottish single malt from Speyside with time at the centre of its identity. Distilled on 27 June 1973 and bottled in September 2019, it represents a 46-year maturation captured from one individual cask.
The whisky was drawn from a single bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength at 41.5%. That gives the release a very specific sense of origin: not a broad vatting, but the character of one cask after decades of development.
Only 136 bottles were produced, and with its collector's item status this Glenglassaugh has a distinctive place at Drankenshop Broekmans. It is the sort of bottle we talk about with a little extra attention, because its interest lies in scarcity, age and the singular voice of one long-matured (…)Teeling 30y

Teeling 30y
Very last one in stock!
Teeling 30y is the kind of Irish single malt where age is more than a number; it is the foundation of the whole whisky. This Vintage Reserve is among the oldest Irish single malts ever brought to market. Distilled in 1987 and released in a run of barely 500 bottles, it has the quiet rarity that comes with a whisky made in very small numbers.
The maturation gives it much of its identity. It was first aged in bourbon casks, then given additional time in white Burgundy wine casks to build greater aromatic complexity. That places tropical fruit at the centre, supported by malt, wood and a gentle touch of spice. Selected by the master distiller for its exceptional quality, it shows a mature Irish single malt style without peat or smoky weight.

Mars Nature Of Shinshu N°3 is a Japanese single malt from Mars Maltage with a firm, cask-driven personality. Bottled at 52% cask strength, it keeps a more direct sense of intensity instead of being softened down to a lower drinking strength.
The use of both sherry and bourbon casks gives the whisky its main framework. Rather than leaning on an age statement, Nature Of Shinshu N°3 is about selection, style and impact, with fruit and wood clearly shaping the profile and spice sitting in a supporting role.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of someone looking for Japanese single malt with a bit more grip and presence. With only the last bottles remaining, it is a release that naturally feels a little more (…)Benriach The 25 Incl. Box

Benriach The 25 Incl. Box

Benriach The 25 is a 25-year-old Speyside single malt bottled at 46%. That already sets the tone: this is a mature Benriach, shaped by long ageing rather than by youthful immediacy.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits comfortably among the more mature Scottish single malts for drinkers who appreciate a fruit-led style. The supplied profile places fruit at the heart of the whisky, supported by a clear wood influence and lighter touches of spice and floral character. Peat and salinity do not define this expression.
Its appeal lies in that composed maturity. The age statement gives it depth and presence, while the 46% strength keeps the whisky expressive without turning the story into one of sheer power.

Aultmore 21y Single Cask

Aultmore 21y Single Cask is a mature Speyside single malt with a composed, distillate-led feel. At 21 years old, it carries the weight of extended maturation, while the single cask origin gives it the sense of one specific cask rather than a broad house-style release.
The refill hogshead maturation matters here. It brings a clear wood influence, but not in a way that overshadows the whisky's fruit-driven side. The profile points to fruit and oak as the main themes, supported by gentle spice and without a peated direction.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to place in front of customers who appreciate mature Speyside whisky with a defined cask identity. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that feels (…)Glendronach 1993 28y Batch 19 Incl. Box

Glendronach 1993 28y Batch 19 is a Highland single malt built around patience, sherry cask maturation and the individuality of one cask. Distilled on 16 July 1993 and bottled in 2021, it spent 28 years in an Oloroso Sherry cask, giving this release a very specific identity within Batch 19.
Bottled from a single cask at natural cask strength, it comes in at 55.2% ABV. Only 688 bottles were drawn from that cask, and with the last bottles now remaining, it has the quiet scarcity that serious whisky drinkers understand immediately. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would introduce this as a mature Glendronach for those who want the cask influence, age and strength to speak without being softened into a standard presentation.

That cask choice is central to the whisky's story. The supplied profile points to a deep sherried style, with plum, chocolate, raisins, ginger and tobacco running through the experience. Jura 21y Tide And Time is built around the feeling of time passing slowly on Jura, where the movement of the tide becomes part of the whisky's story. It is a Scottish single malt with 21 years behind it, shaped by patience rather than haste.
Its maturation starts in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finish in hand-selected American white virgin oak. That second stage gives the whisky a firmer oak presence and a spiced edge, while the fruit and sweetness remain very much part of the experience. The supplied notes also point to a smoky accent, expressed in a way that sits alongside the richer dessert-like flavours.

Glenmorangie 18y Extremely Rare

Glenmorangie 18y Extremely Rare is a Highland single malt shaped by time and a carefully staged maturation. It spends 15 years in old American white oak bourbon casks, after which around 30% is transferred to Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for a further three years. Once both parts have reached 18 years of age, they are brought back together.
That method gives the whisky its particular sense of finesse: fruit and wood are clearly present, with the Oloroso adding dried-fruit depth and liveliness, while the American oak keeps the sherry sweetness in balance. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Glenmorangie for drinkers who appreciate maturity and detail rather than peat or sheer intensity.

The refill PX hogshead plays an important role here. It adds sweetness, depth and fruit-driven warmth, but it does not cover the distillery character. That balance between malt structure and gentle sherry influence is what makes this Dailuaine particularly engaging.
