Arran The Bodega Sherry Tube Incl.

  In stock

Arran The Bodega Sherry is a Scottish single malt from the Isle of Arran with a clear focus on sherry maturation. The name says a great deal already: this is a whisky built around fruit, spice and a gentle touch of wood, rather than peat smoke or coastal salinity.

It is bottled at cask strength, at 55.8% ABV, giving it a firm presence in the glass. That strength allows the sherry-matured style to come through with directness and weight, without relying on an age statement to define its character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Arran as a strong choice within the range for drinkers who enjoy expressive single malt whisky with clear fruit and spice, while staying away from smoky profiles.

  Taketsuru Pure Malt Incl. Box

Taketsuru Pure Malt is a Japanese blended malt whisky with malt character placed firmly at the centre. As a no age statement release, it speaks more through style than through a number on the label: fruit and spice form the main line, with gentle wood influence, a light saline touch and restrained peat in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Japanese whisky that often interests customers looking for something composed rather than forceful. Bottled at 43%, it keeps a measured delivery while still showing enough contrast between its fruitier and spicier sides.

Its appeal lies in that sense of restraint. Taketsuru Pure Malt is not built around heavy smoke or dominant oak, but around a malt-driven Japanese whisky style where spice, fruit (…)

  Yoichi Single Malt Incl. Box

  In stock

Yoichi Single Malt is a Japanese single malt with a clearly defined personality. It is made at the original Nikka distillery and brings together whiskies of different ages, so the focus is less on an age statement and more on the distinctive Yoichi style.

A key part of that style comes from coal-fired pot still distillation. It gives the whisky its smoky, maritime edge while allowing the fruit to remain present. Sherry and bourbon casks add structure to that profile, supporting the interplay between fruit, gentle peat, spice and smoke.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Yoichi Single Malt is the kind of Japanese whisky we like to introduce to customers who want something with a little more tension and depth. It has power and smoke, but it keeps enough fruit and (…)

  Laphroaig 10y Incl. Box

  Only 3 left in stock!

Laphroaig 10y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a very clear sense of identity. Its character is built around pronounced peat smoke and a strong salty impression, giving it the kind of profile that stands apart from softer whisky styles.

Ten years of maturation in oak casks add a firm woody backbone, while the peat and salinity remain at the centre of the experience. A light touch of spice gives the whisky some extra definition without taking attention away from its smoky Islay core.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Laphroaig 10y as a whisky for drinkers who deliberately look for a bold Islay single malt: smoky, saline and unmistakably direct in character.

Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish Incl. Box

  Only 3 left in stock!

Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish is an Irish pure pot still whiskey shaped by its sherry-finish character. The name itself puts that Lustau Sherry Finish at the centre, pointing towards a style where fruit and spice are more prominent than peat, smoke or coastal saltiness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Redbreast for customers who want an Irish whiskey with a more pronounced cask influence. There is no age statement here; the focus is instead on the combination of Irish origin, pure pot still style, sherry finishing and a bottling strength of 46%.

The profile is not built around heavy wood. The cask influence supports the whiskey, while the main impression remains fruity and spicy, giving this release a clear identity within the broader Irish (…)

  Teeling Blackpitts Tube Incl.

  In stock

Teeling Blackpitts is an Irish single malt whiskey with peat clearly woven into its identity. That immediately gives it a distinctive position: rather than presenting smoke as a faint background note, this bottling places the peated side of the whiskey firmly in view.

Matured in Bourbon and Sauternes casks, Blackpitts has a style-driven character rather than one built around an age statement. At 46%, it brings together a pronounced peated profile with lighter floral, fruity, spicy and slightly salty accents. In the range at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as an Irish single malt for drinkers who want to explore smoke from a different angle.

What is especially notable here is that the supplied flavour profile does not point toward a wood-heavy whiskey. (…)

  Bain's Cape Mountain Grain

Bain's Cape Mountain Grain is a South African grain whisky with a straightforward, gently expressive style. The name places the focus on its origin and grain whisky identity, while maturation in bourbon barrel gives it a familiar wood influence without pushing the profile into a heavy direction.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands apart from the more traditional malt whisky choices. This is not a whisky built around peat, age statement or high strength; it is a 40% grain whisky with a lighter, more measured aromatic presence.

Its character is supported by soft notes of fruit, a floral hint, mild spice and gentle wood. With the last bottles available, Bain's Cape Mountain Grain is especially worth considering for anyone who wants to explore this South African (…)

Glen Scotia Double Cask is a Scottish single malt from Campbeltown, shaped around cask influence and finished in sherry casks. Rather than relying on an age statement, it presents itself through style, origin and the character suggested by that finishing period.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glen Scotia we like to point out to customers who are curious about Campbeltown single malt but are not necessarily looking for peat, salinity or a heavily oaked whisky. The available flavour profile points instead towards lighter floral, fruity and spicy touches, keeping the whisky on a more open and approachable path.

At 46% alcohol, Glen Scotia Double Cask has enough strength to carry its character without feeling defined by sheer power. The sherry (…)

  Tobermory 12y Incl. Box

Tobermory 12y is a Scottish single malt from Mull, built around maturation and clarity rather than peat smoke. With its 12-year age statement, it has a clear sense of development, and the 46.3% strength gives it enough presence while keeping the focus on the whisky itself.

The American oak finish fits the style well: fruit and wood are the main themes, with a gentler thread of spice in support. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of a single malt for drinkers who want cask influence and island origin without a pronounced smoky profile.

What makes Tobermory 12y interesting is the way these elements come together without excess. It is not presented as an extreme whisky, but as a 12-year-old single malt with a defined direction: fruit-led, (…)

  Amrut Peated

  Expected: 01/11/2026

Amrut Peated brings Indian single malt whisky into a clearly peated style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who wants to explore peat from a different angle, beyond the most familiar whisky origins.

Bottled at 46%, it has matured in oak casks and carries no age statement. The focus is therefore less on a number on the label and more on the way the malt, oak influence and peat character come together in the glass.

The peat is clearly present, supported by light wood, gentle spice and a modest fruity side. That gives the whisky a defined identity without making it feel one-dimensional.

The flavour is led by a clear peat presence, giving the whisky its main direction. Around it, lighter notes of (…)

  Armorik 15y 2022

  On request only

Armorik 15y 2022 is a French single malt built around maturation and cask selection. It was created as a celebration of the variety of casks ageing in the cellars of Distillerie de Warenghem, and it holds a noteworthy place in the Armorik range: it was the first French whisky to carry a 15-year age statement.

The maturation tells much of the story. The whisky spent its first 9 years in bourbon casks before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for a further 6 years. That extended second maturation adds depth and aromatic fullness, while the original distillate's fresh fruit character remains part of the picture. The casks were selected for their quality, reflecting the maturation know-how Armorik has built over the past two decades.

Glen Moray Classic Chardonnay Finish is a Speyside single malt shaped by a Chardonnay cask finish. Rather than focusing on an age statement, this whisky puts the emphasis on style and cask influence, offering a Scottish single malt at 40% with a clearly defined yet approachable direction.

Its character sits in a lighter, nuanced register. Floral, fruity, woody and gently spiced elements are all present in moderation, while peat smoke and saltiness do not play a meaningful role. That gives the Chardonnay finish room to add its own touch without pushing the whisky into a heavy or forceful style.
