Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by completed malolactic fermentation, with at least 12 months of maturation in steel and a further short period in bottle. No oak ageing is confirmed for this wine, so the spicy and vanilla-like notes mentioned in tasting descriptions should be seen as part of its aromatic character rather than a barrel signature.
