Château Figeac 2020 brings together ripe red and black fruit, with blackcurrant, black cherry, blackberry, plum, raspberry and strawberry compote. Floral notes of violet and rose sit alongside white pepper, clove, cardamom, liquorice and a gentle mint-like freshness.

On the palate, it starts softly before the refined tannins and lively acidity take hold. Graphite, pencil shavings, tobacco leaf, truffle, cedar and wet stone add depth around the fruit. The finish is long, mineral and lightly saline, with freshness and precision rather than sheer weight.
