Fiji 2014 10y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

In stock

Fiji 2014 10y from Daily Dram is a molasses-based rum from Fiji, distilled using both pot still and column still. That gives it a firm, expressive backbone: the pot still side brings the distinctive funky edge, while the overall impression remains direct and well defined.

It spent 10 years in bourbon barrels and was bottled at cask strength, at 56% alcohol. This is a rum with presence rather than polish for its own sake, showing a clear fruity and spicy direction with only a moderate wood influence in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Daily Dram release we like to highlight because it is so specific: one cask, one 2014 vintage, 285 bottles. With the last bottles now available, it has the feel of a limited snapshot rather than a standard (…)

Mhoba Strand 101

On request only

Mhoba Strand 101 is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice, pot still distilled and bottled at cask strength. It is a rum with a direct, assertive identity, built less around softness and more around the raw material, distillation style and bottling strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy rum with a more pronounced voice. The 58% ABV is central to that impression: it keeps the rum close to its full-strength character rather than presenting it in a lighter, more diluted form.

Its profile points towards spice and fruit as the main themes, supported by lighter touches of wood, sweetness, floral notes and a vegetal edge. With no age statement, the focus remains firmly on origin, cane juice, pot still distillation (…)

Crossfire Hurricane Gold By The Rolling Stones Small Batch

In stock

Crossfire Hurricane Gold By The Rolling Stones Small Batch is a Jamaican rum with a strong sense of identity before the bottle is even opened. The name connects it directly with The Rolling Stones, giving the rum a cultural edge alongside its Jamaican origin.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out because it brings together a gold rum presentation, a small batch reference and a recognisable rock-and-roll association. At 40% ABV, it sits in a familiar strength range for rum, without needing an overly technical story to explain its appeal.

For anyone drawn to spirits with a clear personality on the shelf, this Crossfire Hurricane release has an immediate point of interest. It is a Jamaican rum, but also a bottle with a name and presence that invite (…)

Vieux Sajous 2019 5y (Velier)

In stock

Vieux Sajous 2019 5y is a Haitian sugar cane juice rum from Velier, produced by the Chelo distillery. It starts with the Cristalline cane variety, grown without chemicals on 30 hectares. That detail matters here, because this is a rum with a clear agricultural starting point rather than a spirit built around anonymity.

The production keeps that character close to the surface. Fermentation takes place naturally for 5 to 8 days with indigenous yeasts, followed by distillation over an open fire in a copper pot still. Maturation then takes place in the tropical climate of the Distillerie de Port-au-Prince cellars, using American oak and a combination of casks that previously held rum and whiskies.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who (…)

Nine Leaves 2020 5y Px (Velier)

On request only

Nine Leaves 2020 5y PX is a Japanese rum with a distinctive starting point: it is made from kokuto and distilled in a pot still. That already gives the spirit a clear identity before the cask influence begins to speak.

For this small batch, the rum spent five years in two 400-litre Pedro Ximénez casks. The PX maturation is central to its aromatic and lively nature, while the 59% bottling strength keeps the presentation direct and energetic.

Only 929 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now in circulation, this Nine Leaves has a particular place in the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. It is a compact, characterful release for drinkers who enjoy exploring rum through origin, raw material and cask influence rather than through a standard (…)

Jamaica Classic (Berry Bros Classic Range)

In stock

Jamaica Classic from Berry's Own Selection is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by Berry Bros as part of the Classic Range. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents a clear origin-led style through the lens of an independent bottler.

The rum brings together pot still and column distillation, giving room to a profile where fruit and spice are the main accents. Bourbon cask influence is part of the background, adding structure without becoming the whole story. At 40.5% ABV, it sits just above the standard bottling strength and keeps a composed, approachable feel.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers who want to explore Jamaican rum in a focused, classic format rather than through an overly heavy interpretation. With the (…)

Ricci 7e Symphonie Cask Strength 50cl (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci 7e Symphonie Cask Strength is a powerful rum from Famille Ricci, built from 30% Marie-Galante rum and 70% Barbados rum. At 69% alcohol, it makes no attempt to hide its strength: this is a full cask strength release, kept intense and direct.

The interest lies in the way several components come together. Distillation takes place in both columns and pot stills, with no additives, followed by maturation in a range of new casks. French oak, American oak, black oak, Ambura, Minuzara, Acacia and Mahogany all play a role, adding layers to a rum that already carries a bold fruit-and-spice profile.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would present to someone looking for impact rather than softness. The name 7e Symphonie feels well chosen: (…)

Belize 2005 (1423 Single Barrel Selection) Incl. Box

In stock

Belize 2005 from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses rum with a very focused identity. It was distilled in 2005 at Travellers Distillery in Belize and bottled in 2023 as an 18-year-old single cask, coming from a family-run distillery known here for a heavier, spiced style from column distillation.

Part of its character comes from the way it matured: first in the tropics, then further aged in Denmark, before being bottled at cask strength at 58%. The bourbon cask adds structure, but the rum is not presented as a wood-driven bottling; spice and fruit remain the main lines of the story.

Only 275 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now in focus, this release has a distinct place in the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. It is a concentrated (…)

Bally Brut De Fut 2004 Incl. Box

In stock

Bally Brut De Fut 2004 is an agricole rum from Martinique, made from freshly harvested sugar cane. That gives it a very direct link to the raw material, with a cane-driven foundation that sits beneath the fruit, spice and oak rather than disappearing behind them.

It was distilled in a traditional column style and matured for several years in oak casks, with bourbon barrel ageing adding roundness and structure. The wood influence is present without taking over, leaving room for the ripe fruit and spice that define much of its personality.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for those moments when you want something with real concentration in the glass. At 53.7% and carrying the Brut De Fut name, it is a Martinique rum with strength, depth and a (…)

Black Tot Historic Solera

In stock

Black Tot Historic Solera is built around depth of blending and maturation. It brings together Caribbean rum from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica, combining pot still and column still styles. That gives it a broader voice than a simple single-style rum, with different layers working together in the glass.

The traditional solera process and maturation in old sherry casks give this release its darker, more developed side. Ripe fruit, cocoa and sweet spice sit at the centre, supported by a strength of 46.2% that keeps the rum expressive without feeling forced.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone looking beyond soft, easy sipping styles and wanting something fuller, fruitier and more spice-driven.

Savanna 9y Ao (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Savanna 9y AO from Elizabeth Yard presents rum from Réunion Island in a very small release. Aged for 9 years, it belongs to the Elizabeth Yard With Finishes series and was matured and refined in American oak casks.

The appeal here lies in its focus and rarity. This is a single cask rum, bottled at cask strength at 49.9%, with only 87 bottles produced. It feels like a precise cask selection rather than a broad, regular bottling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for the way they show a specific side of a rum's maturation. Made in a traditional column style, this Savanna combines fruit and spice with a lively freshness and a measured touch of wood.

Isautier 2007 15y (Habitation Velier)

Isautier 2007 15y is a molasses rum from Réunion Island, bottled by Velier as part of the Habitation Velier range. Its appeal lies in a clear sense of origin and production: traditional column distillation, distilled in May 2007, followed by 15 years of ageing.

Bottled at cask strength, at 57% alcohol, it keeps a direct and undiluted presence in the glass. The profile points mainly toward fruit and spice, with lighter touches of wood, sweetness, floral notes and vegetal nuances in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for its focus and limited nature. With 991 bottles produced and only the last bottles remaining, it has a particularly defined place for rum drinkers who enjoy vintage releases with a clear maturation (…)

Doorly's 3y White is a white rum from Barbados, bottled at 40%, with the product name pointing to three years of age. It is a straightforward bottle in the best sense: clear in origin, clear in style, and unmistakably part of the Doorly's rum range.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum where the essentials matter most. Barbados gives the bottle its geographical identity, while the white style sets it apart from darker rum expressions on the shelf.

Patridom XO Oloroso Tube Incl.

Patridom XO Oloroso brings together the smooth Dominican style of the Patridom range with the added depth of an Oloroso cask finish. The rum is made from locally grown sugar cane in the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate, giving it the polished and gentle foundation associated with the series.

Its second maturation is what gives this release its own identity. Selected Oloroso casks were used for an additional ageing period in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. That extra stage adds darker, more layered accents to the rum, with fruit and spice taking a more prominent role while the overall impression remains soft and sweet.
