Planteray Fiji 2012 14y Oceana Incl. Box
In stock
Planteray Fiji 2012 14y Oceana shows a very expressive side of Fijian molasses rum. It was produced at Paradise Beverage Distillery on the Fiji Islands, with a fermentation of 4 to 5 days before pot still distillation. That gives the rum a substantial, characterful base before maturation even begins.
The ageing is one of the defining elements here. This 2012 vintage spent 11 years maturing tropically in bourbon casks, followed by another 3 years of continental ageing in Ferrand casks. That long development gives depth, yet the rum does not become a purely wood-driven style; fruit, floral notes and spice remain central to its personality.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits comfortably among rums for drinkers who enjoy origin, maturity and aromatic (…)Jamaica 2011 15y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)

Jamaica 2011 15y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)
In stock
Cadenhead's Jamaica 2011 15y is an expressive Jamaican rum from the Single Cask range, distilled in 2011 and bottled after 15 years of maturation. It is a molasses rum made in a pot still style, with the typically aromatic island character highlighted in the product information.
The rum matured in a bourbon barrel, yet the real point of interest is the combination of Jamaican personality, age and single cask individuality. This is not a broad blended profile, but a specific cask selection with its own direction. At 50.4% ABV, it has a firm presence without making strength the whole story.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone looking for Jamaican rum with a pronounced aromatic signature. With only the last (…)Vieux Sajous 2020 5y (Velier) Incl. Box

Vieux Sajous 2020 5y (Velier) Incl. Box

Vieux Sajous 2020 5y is a Haitian sugar cane juice rum with a very clear sense of origin. It is made from pure Cristalline cane juice from Saint-Michel de l'Attalaye, at Michel Sajous, and distilled in a pot still. That gives the rum a direct connection to the raw cane material rather than a more neutral molasses-based style.
Five years of tropical ageing add depth while keeping the spirit lively. The rum matured in a mix of casks that previously held whisky, rum and bourbon, bringing structure and spice around the cane juice core. Bottled at 59.52%, it has the strength and energy of a cask strength release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottling stands out because it combines a precise Haitian origin with a defined place in the Vieux project by Spirit of (…)Saint James Single Cask 2001

Saint James Single Cask 2001
On request only
Saint James Single Cask 2001 is a Martinique sugar cane juice rum with a very specific identity: it was drawn from a single cask. Distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2016, it represents one particular cask from the Saint James distillery rather than a broader blended expression.
Maturation in oak barrels that previously held bourbon brings notes associated with vanilla, caramel and toasted wood. What makes the rum appealing is the way that cask influence sits alongside fruit, floral tones and spice, rather than simply dominating the spirit.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present to customers who want to explore the more individual side of aged agricole-style rum. It has the structure of oak, the brightness of fruit and a measured (…)Providence 3y (La Maison & Velier)

Providence 3y is a Haitian rum made from sugar cane juice, pot still distilled and bottled at 52%. At cask strength, it has a firm, direct presence, with the focus remaining on a young rum style rather than on heavy or prolonged wood influence.
The detail that gives this release its particular angle is the Caroni Finish alongside its three years of maturation. It is a rum with a clear point of view: Haitian origin, pot still production and a finishing choice that sets it apart from more standard young rum bottlings.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are selected because they give rum drinkers something specific to explore. With only the last bottles remaining, Providence 3y is especially worth noting for anyone interested in cask strength rum with a (…)Papa Rouyo Viraj

Papa Rouyo Viraj shows a more adventurous side of Guadeloupe rum while keeping its roots clearly in view. It is made from fresh sugar cane juice grown on the clay-limestone soils around Le Moule and distilled in the house pot still. That gives the rum a direct connection to its raw material and to the place it comes from.
After distillation in 2022, Viraj was transferred to ex-sherry casks for maturation. The casks add roundness, depth and a more layered feel, while the lively cane-driven expression remains central. Floral, fruity and spiced elements shape the profile, with wood playing a supporting rather than overpowering role.

Takamaka Le Clos Napa Laz 53,4

Takamaka Le Clos Napa Laz 53.4 is all about showing sugar cane in its most direct form. This unaged rum from the Trois Frères distillery in the Seychelles is made from pure Seychellois sugar cane, naturally fermented and distilled in a pot still. With no added sugar and no wood influence, the focus stays firmly on the raw material itself.
At 53.4%, it has a clear sense of intensity, yet the style is not built around heaviness. The supplied profile points towards floral, spiced and fruity elements, with a light vegetal edge and only a modest sweetness. That makes the rum feel vivid and precise rather than rounded by oak or sweetness.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling that adds real character to a rum selection: a sugar cane juice (…)Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar

Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still. That already places it in a more distinctive corner of the rum world, with the raw material playing a central role in the identity of the spirit.
This release is all about focus and small-scale character. It was drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength, 57.4%, with just 142 bottles produced. Rather than a broad house style, it presents one individual cask in a concentrated form.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that adds depth to a rum selection: South African origin, cane juice production, pot still distillation and single cask bottling come together in a rum with a clearly defined place of its (…)Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof Incl. Box

Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice, with a character that immediately feels distinctive. The name refers to the Greek empyreuma, evoking charcoal used to rekindle a fire, and that idea runs through the style of the cuvée: toasted, grilled aromas, without an exaggerated oak imprint.
Matured for eight years and bottled at natural strength, it brings concentration without losing freshness. The blend includes rum aged in cognac and bourbon casks, giving depth and structure, while fruity, floral and spicy accents keep the profile lively. It is not simply about strength; the appeal lies in the way intensity and finesse sit together.

The appeal here lies in its immediacy. Harvesting, production and distillation all take place on site, with no additions, and the spirit is distilled in a traditional pot still. Rather than leaning on wood influence, it speaks through cane, place and a very direct style of production.
Bottled at 55.2%, Clairin Sajous 2023 has the strength to carry that character with real clarity. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to show to rum drinkers who are curious about pure, terroir-driven spirits from (…)Diplomatico Vintage 2013 Incl. Box

Diplomatico Vintage 2013 is built around the idea of a rum that is only released in limited quantities in outstanding years. This Venezuelan edition brings together the depth, elegance and layered character associated with Diplomatico, shaped by ten years of maturation.
For the 2013 vintage, Diplomatico brought three different types of its own distillates together before ageing, a first for this release. The rum then matured in ex-bourbon and whiskey casks made from American oak. That gives the bottle a clear sense of craft: a molasses rum tied to a specific vintage, with the wood influence supporting rather than overwhelming its rounded style.

Jamaica 2010 13y Wpl Nectar is a Jamaican molasses rum, pot still distilled and bottled at cask strength. It is not presented as a softened or polished style, but as a strong, direct single cask release with plenty of room for the rum's own character.
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in September 2023, it matured for 13 years in a bourbon barrel. Only 252 bottles came from this cask, so this is a very focused release rather than a broad, standard expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we place this kind of rum among the bottles for drinkers who appreciate clarity of origin, strength and limited availability. Jamaica 2016 Drankenshop Broekmans is a Jamaican rum from 1423 Rum World Class with a deliberately small-scale feel. As a single cask release, it is less about repeating a standard house profile and more about capturing the individual character of one particular cask.
The Pedro Ximenez cask gives the bottling a distinctive frame. Here, the interest lies in the combination of Jamaican origin, the 2016 vintage reference and a cask choice that sets it apart from a regular rum release. Bottled at 46%, it keeps a serious drinking strength without being presented as a cask-strength rum.

Rammstein Rum Limited Edition 5 Sauternes Finish is a molasses-based rum with a very clear identity. The Sauternes finish is the feature that shapes the release, while the Rammstein name gives the bottle an unmistakable presence from the outset.
Made in a multicolumn distilling style and bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its main flavour directions: floral, spiced and fruity notes are the most clearly indicated, while wood and sweetness remain lighter in the profile. That makes the character broader than a simply sweet rum.
Only 9,718 bottles were produced, and the dataset marks these as the last bottles. For Drankenshop Broekmans, that gives this Limited Edition a clear place among rums with a specific story: limited in availability, (…)Neisson Le Vieux

A1710 created Renaissance to be enjoyed neat, either as an aperitif or after a meal. Papalin Réunion 10y is part of Velier's Papalin project, developed by Luca Gargano with a clear focus on rum blends. The idea behind Papalin is closely tied to the distilleries themselves: research and maturation are planned together with the partners, and the rum matures in the official warehouses until bottling.
For this Réunion release, the maturation took place entirely in the island's climate, in French oak casks. The blend combines several rums, including 10, 12 and 15 year old traditional molasses rums alongside an 11 year old grand aroma rum. That layered composition gives the 10 year old name more context, with maturity coming from different components rather than from a single line of development.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we would point out to someone looking for rum with real presence and detail. Bottled at 54.1%, it carries the directness of cask strength, yet the profile is not simply about power. The interest here lies in how closely the spirit stays connected to the cane. Harvesting is done by hand between December and August, the fresh juice ferments naturally for 5 to 7 days with wild yeasts, and distillation takes place in a traditional bagasse-fired still, followed by a small column still.
