Ron El Rumbo Sd

In stock

Ron El Rumbo Sd is a Cuban rum from El Rumbo, bottled at a firm 50% ABV. That strength gives it a more pronounced place on the shelf: this is not positioned as a light, easygoing rum, but as one with a stronger foundation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this naturally speaks to customers looking for Cuban rum with a little more weight than the usual standard-strength releases. Its origin and bottling strength are the key elements here.

With only the last bottles remaining, it also has a sense of limited availability. It has clearly found its audience without needing an elaborate story around it.

No detailed aroma or flavour notes have been supplied for this rum. The clearest tasting cue is its 50% ABV, suggesting a firmer, more (…)

Diamond 2002 21y Column Still Ehp For Drankenshop Broekmans (Nobilis Rum) Incl. Box

In stock

Diamond 2002 21y Column Still EHP is a Guyanese rum with a very focused identity: distilled in 2002, bottled in 2023, matured for 21 years and drawn from a single cask. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one specific cask at a particular point in its life.

This bottling sits naturally within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection because it speaks to drinkers who appreciate precise, small-scale releases. The Column Still EHP reference gives the rum its own place within the Diamond name, while the single cask and cask strength presentation keep the emphasis on individuality rather than standardisation.

Only 175 bottles were filled, and the remaining stock is down to the last bottles. At 52.4%, it has retained its cask strength, making this a (…)

Foursquare 2010 15y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)

In stock

Foursquare 2010 15y from Cadenhead's is a Barbados rum from the Single Cask range, drawn from one bourbon barrel. That gives the bottle a very defined identity: not a broad house style, but the voice of one individual cask.

Made from molasses and distilled using pot still and column still, it is described as an elegant Barbados rum with structure and fresh spicy notes. At 55% ABV it has real presence, yet the supplied profile points more toward clarity, fruit and spice than sheer weight.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in the hands of customers who enjoy limited, clearly traceable bottlings. With the last bottles indicated, it also carries that sense of a finite Cadenhead release: distilled in 2010, matured for 15 years and bottled (…)

Providence 3y 2021 Incl. Box

In stock

Providence 3y 2021 is a Haitian sugar cane juice rum from the Port-au-Prince distillery. Founded in 2018 on the former Habitation Sarthe Providence estate, the distillery works with a 1,500-litre Müller pot still and is linked to the revival of double distillation in Haiti.

This 3-year-old release comes from a blend of casks that previously held Bourbon and Caroni rum. The result is not a heavy style, but one built around elegance, freshness and detail. Bottled at 52%, it keeps a lively, direct presence in the glass.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, Providence is the kind of rum that gives a clear sense of place and craft. Its fruity side is the most prominent, while gentle spice, wood, floral touches and a light vegetal note add extra dimension without taking (…)

Providence 3y 2022 Incl. Box

In stock

Providence 3y 2022 is a Haitian rum with a very direct connection to sugar cane. It is produced at Distillerie de Port-au-Prince from sugar cane syrup made with the historic Cristalline variety, grown on Michel Sajous' fields around 150 kilometres north of the distillery.

The production method gives this release much of its personality. The cane juice is cooked down at high temperature into syrup using a traditional 19th-century approach. Fermentation follows with selected yeasts and dunder, before distillation in an artisanal Müller bain-marie pot still, bringing an old Haitian distilling technique back into focus.

The rum matured for three years in Haiti's tropical climate as a blend of 29 casks, drawn from former Caroni and Bourbon barrels. It is (…)

Made through multicolumn distillation and aged in bourbon barrels, it does not lean into heavy wood influence. The profile is more fruit-led, with gentle support from wood, spice and a mild sweetness.

At 37.5% alcohol, Flor De Cana 12y keeps a measured presence in the glass. The ageing gives it a sense of maturity, while the overall impression remains centred on fruit, softness and restraint rather than overt power.

The tasting impression is led mainly by fruit. Around that core (…)

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1,5l (Velier)

Very last one in stock!

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1.5l is an Australian molasses rum with a strong sense of place. It comes from Beenleigh, a distillery founded in 1884 in Queensland, and is made from molasses sourced from Australia's last privately owned mill. That background gives the bottle a story before the glass is even poured.

The rum is distilled using both columns and pot stills, then aged for 8 years in bourbon barrels. At 60% and bottled at cask strength, it keeps a firm, direct character rather than smoothing away its natural intensity. The 1.5 litre magnum format adds to its distinctive presence, especially as these are the last bottles.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Velier bottling sits in the selection for drinkers who appreciate rum with origin, power and detail: (…)

Takamaka 2018 3y (Habitation Velier)

On request only

Takamaka 2018 3y Hab brings a Seychelles sugar cane juice rum into the Habitation Velier range with a clear sense of origin. Distilled in a pot still, it points toward a more direct and expressive style, keeping the raw material close to the centre of the experience.

The 2018 reference and 3-year age statement place it among younger, forceful rums with a defined personality. French Oak maturation adds a measured wood influence, while the stated flavour profile gives more weight to spice and fruit, supported by lighter floral, sweet and vegetal touches.

At 60.8% alcohol, this is a cask strength release rather than a softened bottling. Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a compact and intense look at Takamaka through the lens of (…)

Fiji 2014 10y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

In stock

Fiji 2014 10y from Daily Dram is a molasses-based rum from Fiji, distilled using both pot still and column still. That gives it a firm, expressive backbone: the pot still side brings the distinctive funky edge, while the overall impression remains direct and well defined.

It spent 10 years in bourbon barrels and was bottled at cask strength, at 56% alcohol. This is a rum with presence rather than polish for its own sake, showing a clear fruity and spicy direction with only a moderate wood influence in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Daily Dram release we like to highlight because it is so specific: one cask, one 2014 vintage, 285 bottles. With the last bottles now available, it has the feel of a limited snapshot rather than a standard (…)

Patridom XO Cognac Tube Incl.

In stock

Patridom XO Cognac is a Dominican rum built around locally grown sugar cane and given an added layer through a Cognac cask finish. The Patridom range focuses on premium rums from the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate.

What gives this release its own direction is the second maturation. After its tropical ageing, it spent an additional period in selected casks in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. The result stays soft and gently sweet, but the fruit feels more developed, with light spice and a subtle touch of wood adding depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Patridom has a natural place among rums for drinkers who enjoy a rounded, fruit-led style with a little extra refinement (…)

Barcelo 11y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Barcelo 11y is a Dominican rum with a distinctly small-batch feel. Elizabeth Yard bottled it after 11 years of maturation at 51.15%, keeping it at cask strength rather than softening it down to a more standard drinking strength.

Its appeal lies in the fact that it comes from a single Bourbon Barrel, with only 92 bottles drawn from that cask. That gives this release a very specific identity: less a broad house expression, more a close look at one individual barrel. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value these kinds of bottlings because they show a more focused side of rum, shaped by one cask and one moment in maturation.

Traditionally column distilled, the rum leans most clearly toward fruit, supported by gentle wood, spice and sweetness. The 11 years of age, the (…)

Malecon 8y Gran Reserva

In stock

Malecon 8y Gran Reserva is a Cuban molasses-based rum, aged for eight years and bottled at 40%. The Gran Reserva name points to a matured style, but the available profile suggests a rum where oak remains a supporting element rather than the main focus.

Its multicolumn distillation and bourbon cask maturation give it a composed, polished framework. The fruit side is the clearest part of the profile, while wood, spice, sweetness and a light floral touch sit more quietly around it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this Malecon among the rums for customers looking for a well-aged Cuban style with a fruit-led character and measured cask influence. It is not a rum built on excess, but on a clean and approachable sense of balance.

Mhoba Strand 101

On request only

Mhoba Strand 101 is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice, pot still distilled and bottled at cask strength. It is a rum with a direct, assertive identity, built less around softness and more around the raw material, distillation style and bottling strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy rum with a more pronounced voice. The 58% ABV is central to that impression: it keeps the rum close to its full-strength character rather than presenting it in a lighter, more diluted form.

Its profile points towards spice and fruit as the main themes, supported by lighter touches of wood, sweetness, floral notes and a vegetal edge. With no age statement, the focus remains firmly on origin, cane juice, pot still distillation (…)

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out because it brings together a gold rum presentation, a small batch reference and a recognisable rock-and-roll association. At 40% ABV, it sits in a familiar strength range for rum, without needing an overly technical story to explain its appeal.

Vieux Sajous 2019 5y (Velier)

In stock

Vieux Sajous 2019 5y is a Haitian sugar cane juice rum from Velier, produced by the Chelo distillery. It starts with the Cristalline cane variety, grown without chemicals on 30 hectares. That detail matters here, because this is a rum with a clear agricultural starting point rather than a spirit built around anonymity.

The production keeps that character close to the surface. Fermentation takes place naturally for 5 to 8 days with indigenous yeasts, followed by distillation over an open fire in a copper pot still. Maturation then takes place in the tropical climate of the Distillerie de Port-au-Prince cellars, using American oak and a combination of casks that previously held rum and whiskies.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who (…)

Port Mourant 2011 10y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Port Mourant 2011 10y by Elizabeth Yard is a molasses rum from Guyana with a very specific sense of place and scale. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022, it is a 10-year-old single cask release rather than a broad, ongoing expression.

The details matter here because they all point in the same direction: pot still distillation, a wine finish and bottling at cask strength. At 53.53% ABV, the rum keeps close to the strength and personality of the individual cask, instead of being shaped into a softer standard bottling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Elizabeth Yard releases like this are selected for customers who enjoy small-batch rum with a clear cask identity. Only 100 bottles were drawn from this cask, and with the last bottles now in focus, it is very much a (…)
