Ben Nevis 1996 27y (The Whisky Agency)
In stock
Ben Nevis 1996 27y is a Highland single malt where the main story is time. Distilled in 1996 and bottled at 27 years of age, it brings together a defined vintage, a mature age statement and the identity of Ben Nevis without needing an elaborate explanation.
The whisky is associated with a hogshead cask type, giving the release a classic maturation context. At 43.3% alcohol, it sits in a restrained bottling strength, putting the focus firmly on its age, origin and distillation year rather than on sheer power.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that stands out for customers specifically looking for older Scotch single malt with a clear vintage reference. With only the last bottles remaining, its availability feels naturally limited.

Benriach 1981 38y Nectar/Lmdw
On request only
Benriach 1981 38y Nectar/Lmdw is a Speyside single malt built around a very precise cask story. Distilled on 20 November 1981 and bottled on 1 March 2020, it spent 38 years in a single bourbon barrel, giving this release the character of one individual cask rather than a broader vatting.
Only 162 bottles were drawn, and with the last bottles indicated, this is one of those releases that naturally stands apart in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. Its age, single cask origin, cask strength bottling and collector's item status all point in the same direction: a scarce Benriach with a very specific identity.
Bottled at 46.6%, it remains close to the strength of the cask. The flavour profile places fruit at the centre, supported by clear wood and spice, with (…)Hakushu 18y Incl. Box

Hakushu 18y is a Japanese single malt with maturity at the centre of its identity. Eighteen years in oak casks give it a clearly developed foundation, with wood, spice and fruit forming the main lines of its character. Floral notes and a light peated accent sit more in the background rather than defining the whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for Japanese single malt with age and a composed, mature style. Bottled at 43%, Hakushu 18y brings together oak influence, gentle spice and fruit-driven depth without turning the profile into something overtly heavy.
Hakushu 18y is shaped chiefly by oak, spice and fruit. The floral side is lighter, while peat is present only as a subtle accent. Based on this (…)Ardmore 1985 36y Gmp

Ardmore 1985 36y Gmp is a Highland single malt shaped by time, a single cask and a very small outturn. Distilled in 1985 and bottled in 2022, it spent 36 years in one refill hogshead. That detail matters here: the whisky is not presented as a broad house style, but as the result of one specific cask and one long maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Ardmore stands out for its quiet scarcity. Only 164 bottles were drawn from the cask, bottled at cask strength at 49.6%. With the last bottles now indicated, there is a clear sense that this is a finite release, tied closely to its individual cask rather than to a repeated batch.
The flavour profile points towards a Highland malt where wood, spice and fruit carry the main structure, supported by a lighter (…)Compass Box Great King Street Sherry 50cl

Compass Box Great King Street Sherry is a Scottish whisky bottled at 43% in a 50cl format. Although this is the Sherry edition within the Great King Street name, the tasting notes point to a whisky that remains lively and detailed rather than heavy: malty, gently spiced, citrus-led and notably floral.
With only 3439 bottles produced, and with these being the last bottles, it naturally stands out in the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. It is the kind of Compass Box release that draws attention from drinkers who enjoy limited bottlings with a clearly defined identity.
Its appeal lies in the small details: vanilla, coconut, lemon, orange zest and grapefruit, followed by pear, cinnamon, wood and hazelnut. A whisky with refinement rather than force.

Fettercairn 15y Sd (Stalla Dhu)

Fettercairn 15y Sd is a Scottish Highland whisky with a clear 15-year age statement. That age gives the bottle its main point of interest: this is a whisky defined by time rather than by excessive presentation or a heavily built story.
At 46% alcohol, it has enough strength to feel purposeful, while still keeping the focus on its origin and maturation. In the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out for customers looking for a mature Highland whisky with a straightforward identity.
The fact that only the last bottles remain adds to its appeal in a quiet way. Fettercairn 15y Sd is not something we would describe as an endlessly available shelf standard, but as a 15-year-old Highland whisky that is gradually leaving the range.

Distilled on 26 June 2014 and bottled on 21 July 2026, it carries a 12-year age statement. At 58.5% and unchill-filtered, the whisky stays close to its cask-strength presentation. Redbreast 27y Port Batch 2 is an Irish pure pot still whiskey with a distinctly mature presence. At 27 years old, and finished in port, it points toward a deeper, fruit-led side of Redbreast, with wood and spice playing a clear supporting role.
Bottled at cask strength, 53.5%, it keeps a strong connection to the whiskey's natural intensity. This is not positioned as a light or overly softened style; the strength, age and port finish all suggest a whiskey with weight and definition.

Peat and a light salty edge sit more in the background, adding the influence of the Islay finish without turning the whisky into something dominated by smoke.
Only 166 bottles were filled, and these are now among the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, that makes this a noteworthy Kavalan for drinkers who appreciate limited single cask (…)Speyside 2008 17y Cadenig (Cadenhead's Enigma Series)

Speyside 2008 17y Cadenig from Cadenhead's Enigma Series is built around a simple but intriguing idea: the distillery name remains undisclosed. That shifts the focus away from reputation and straight into the glass. For a 17-year-old Speyside single malt, it gives the whisky a quietly fascinating sense of discovery.
Maturation in an Oloroso Hogshead shapes much of its personality. The supplied notes point to rich sherry tones, elegant fruit and refined spice, with fruit clearly taking the lead and wood and spice adding structure. Peat is not part of the picture here, so the whisky stays focused on its fruit, sweetness and cask depth.

Glenburgie 1975 45y is a Speyside single malt with a quietly remarkable presence. A 45-year-old whisky already speaks of patience and long maturation, and in this case the story remains very focused: Glenburgie, one cask, one specific point in time.
Berry Bros bottled it as part of the Berry's Exceptional Casks range, drawn from a single hogshead and released at cask strength. With only 137 bottles produced, it sits in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection as the kind of whisky we would present with a little extra attention rather than as an everyday Speyside release.
The fact that these are the last bottles underlines its limited nature. Bottled in 2020, this 45-year-old Glenburgie is less about broad availability and more about the individual character (…)Glenlochy 1980 35y Sigrare (Signatory Rare Reserve) Incl. Box
