Kura Pure Malt Classic is a Japanese blended malt from Helios, bottled at 40%. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through its pure malt identity and a classic, straightforward style.
American Oak gives the whisky a gentle wood influence, while the flavour profile points mainly toward spice, with fruit playing a lighter supporting role. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Japanese whisky for drinkers looking for a malt-led character without peat or salty notes taking the lead.

Glen Moray Sherry Finish is a Scottish Speyside single malt built around its sherry cask finish rather than an age statement. The emphasis is on the influence of that finishing stage: spice sits at the heart of the whisky, with lighter touches of fruit and wood giving it extra shape.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a Speyside single malt with a sherry-finished angle, but without peat smoke or salty coastal notes taking over. Bottled at 40%, it keeps a straightforward presentation while still offering a clearly defined flavour direction.
The supplied flavour profile points first and foremost to spice. Fruit is present in a lighter role, while the wood influence stays more in the background, giving (…)Macallan N°5

Macallan N°5 is a Scottish single malt from Speyside with a clear focus on release identity rather than an age statement. Bottled at 48.5%, it has a little more weight on paper than many standard-strength whiskies, while the supplied profile does not point towards peat or coastal salinity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is interesting because it sits at the crossroads of drinking whisky and Macallan collectability. The release was bottled in 260,000 bottles, so it is not presented as a tiny outturn, but it is still a defined edition. With the product marked as a collector's item and only the last bottles remaining, its availability becomes part of the story.

Glenallachie 2008 11y Asta (Asta Morris)

Glenallachie 2008 11y Asta is a Speyside single malt with a very focused identity: one vintage, one cask and bottled at cask strength. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2020, it captures Glenallachie after 11 years of maturation in a clearly defined form.
The Sherry Butt maturation and 56% strength give this release a firm, direct presence. As a single cask bottling, it stays close to the individual cask it came from, rather than being shaped into a broader house-style expression.
With 724 bottles produced and now marked as last bottles, this Glenallachie has a particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans among limited Speyside whiskies for drinkers who enjoy exploring a specific cask selection.

Armorik Double Maturation is a French single malt from Brittany, shaped by a clear focus on maturation. It spends at least five years in Armorik's traditional oak casks, followed by a few months of finishing in sherry casks. That second stage gives the whisky its name and adds a spiced, fruity dimension while keeping its distinctive Breton identity in view.
Bottled at 46%, it is presented with enough strength to carry its aromatic richness. The result is a whisky with a fresh and fruit-led opening, supported by wood influence and a more seasoned, characterful side as it develops in the glass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers who enjoy exploring single malt beyond the familiar regions. As these are the last (…)Glendronach 12y New Incl. Box

Glendronach 12y New is a Highland single malt with sherry maturation at the heart of its identity. This is not a whisky where sherry is just a finishing touch; it has been fully matured in sherry casks, giving the 12-year-old whisky its depth, darker fruit tones, spice and rounded sweetness.
The cask story is built on Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez. Oloroso brings the drier fruit and spice, while Pedro Ximénez adds grape-like sweetness and a richer impression. Together they shape a clear sherried style, described in the product information as reviving a Highland grand cru tradition in this Billy Walker version.

Bunnahabhain An Cladach is an Islay single malt that takes a different route from the island's more smoke-driven reputation. Its profile is led by spice, with a lighter fruity side and a restrained touch of wood, while peat smoke is not part of the main expression here.
Matured in sherry casks and bottled without an age statement, it focuses on style and cask influence rather than age. At 50% ABV, An Cladach has enough strength to feel firmly present in the glass, giving the whisky a more pronounced character than many softer everyday malts.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this release for the way it broadens the picture of Islay whisky. The 1 litre bottle makes it a generous choice for anyone looking for a sherry-matured Bunnahabhain with weight, spice and (…)Jura Tastival 2016 Incl. Box

Jura Tastival 2016 comes from a very specific moment in the Jura calendar: the island's annual Tastival, held in the same week as the Islay festival for music and whisky. It is a single malt with a clear sense of occasion, tied to the atmosphere of an island whisky celebration rather than a regular core-range release.
The sherry influence is the part that gives this bottling its direction. It was finished in Palomino Fino, Amoroso Oloroso and Apostoles Oloroso sherry casks, bringing a sherry-led style where spice takes a prominent role and fruit adds support without taking over.
At 51% and bottled at cask strength, it has real presence. With 8000 bottles released, this is a defined edition, and at Drankenshop Broekmans we see these last bottles as a chance to (…)Jim Beam Rye Pre Prohibition Style

Jim Beam Rye Pre Prohibition Style is an American rye whiskey built around a clearly spiced rye character. The name points to a pre-Prohibition style, giving this Jim Beam bottling a more classic, straight-talking American whiskey identity.
New oak brings a light woody touch, but it does not dominate the profile. The main impression remains spiced, with a modest fruity note in support. At 40% alcohol, it keeps a familiar drinking strength while still showing the rye-driven direction of the whiskey.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Jim Beam for drinkers who want a rye whiskey with a little more spice and structure than a softer, sweeter style. Additional information can be found at https://www.jimbeam.com/

Armorik Double Matured Mini shows a distinctive side of French single malt whisky. At 46%, it is presented with the aim of bringing out the richness of its aromas. The character leans towards fruit, spice and a measured touch of wood rather than sheer weight.
