Douglas Laing Double Barrel Scotland India
In stock
Douglas Laing Double Barrel Scotland India is a Blended Malt built around a striking meeting of origins: an Indian Single Malt joined with a Scottish Single Malt from the Highlands. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it focuses on the contrast and connection between two whisky cultures in one bottle.
The label gives that idea a visual form. A Bengal tiger, India's national animal, appears alongside the unicorn, the national animal of Scotland. It is a fitting image for a whisky where smoky malt, citrus brightness and spice come together without losing the sense of either side of the blend.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce to customers who enjoy whisky with a clear concept behind it. Bottled at 50%, with no added (…)Six Isles Voyager

Six Isles Voyager

Six Isles Voyager brings together single malts from the six principal Scottish islands. As a blended malt, it gives a broad impression of island whisky rather than focusing on the voice of one distillery or one specific island.
The character is clearly maritime: gentle salinity, delicate smoke, fruit and spice come together in a style that points straight to Scotland's island malts. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry those flavours while remaining rounded in its overall feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce when someone is looking for Scottish whisky with sea air, light peat and fruity warmth, without moving into a very heavy or intensely smoky style.
The aroma is fresh and maritime, with (…)Isle Of Skye 12y

Isle Of Skye 12y
In stock
Isle Of Skye 12y captures the contrast suggested by its island origin: a touch of maritime ruggedness, softened by a calm and approachable style. This 12-year-old Scottish blend brings together Highland-like sweetness with a gentle coastal note from Skye.
Oak cask maturation gives it a rounded base, while the fruit remains clearly present. The peat is light rather than forceful, adding a maritime accent instead of taking over the glass. That makes the whisky easy to understand, yet still recognisably shaped by its island character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Isle Of Skye 12y sits comfortably among Scottish whiskies for drinkers who want softness and fruit, but also a little sea air and character. It is a relaxed dram, well suited to those moments when you want (…)The Irish Collection 40° 4x5cl (Connemara, Kilbeggan, Tyrconnell And Kilbeggan Triple Cask)

The Irish Collection 40° 4x5cl (Connemara, Kilbeggan, Tyrconnell And Kilbeggan Triple Cask)

The Irish Collection is a mini giftpack built around four Irish whiskeys: Connemara, Kilbeggan, Tyrconnell and Kilbeggan Triple Cask. With four 5 cl bottles, it is made for tasting side by side rather than committing straight away to one full-size bottle.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this kind of set because it gives a clear, approachable way to explore several names within Irish whiskey under the Cooley label. It works well as a gift, but also as a small tasting journey for anyone who wants to understand their own preferences a little better.
The flavour indication points first to fruit, supported by lighter floral, woody and spicy tones, with a gentle salty edge and a touch of peat. That combination gives the pack enough contrast to make comparison (…)Highland Park 2003 18y Viking Soul Incl. Box

Highland Park 2003 18y Viking Soul Incl. Box

Highland Park 2003 18y Viking Soul is a Scottish single malt from Orkney with a very defined sense of origin and cask identity. It was drawn from a single sherry butt, matured for 18 years and bottled at a powerful 60% ABV. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this release captures one specific cask in its own right.
Only 565 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now noted, its limited nature is part of the appeal. As a collectors item, it has a place at Drankenshop Broekmans among whiskies chosen for their individuality, scarcity and clear connection to a single maturation vessel.
The flavour profile places fruit at the centre, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice, floral notes, saltiness and gentle peat. That gives the whisky an (…)Nikka Frontier 50cl Incl. Box

Nikka Frontier 50cl was created for a meaningful occasion: the 90th anniversary of Nikka. It also pays tribute to founder Masataka Taketsuru, described in the supplied information as the figure behind the Japanese whisky tradition.
The blend is built with a strong malt component, with malt whiskies making up more than 51% of the recipe. Peated malts from the historic Yoichi distillery on Hokkaido play an important role, while grain whiskies from Miyagikyo's Coffey stills bring softness and balance to the composition.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Japanese blend we would introduce to someone looking for a whisky with fruit, roundness and a gentle smoky edge. Bottling at 48% alc. and without chill filtration helps preserve the fuller texture and (…)Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar Incl. Box

Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar Incl. Box

Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar is an Australian single malt with a very direct sense of place and cask. Drawn from one individual cask and bottled at cask strength, it carries its 54.8% ABV with the kind of presence you expect from a whisky left close to its natural form. Only 286 bottles came from this cask, and with the last bottles now remaining, it feels like a tightly defined snapshot rather than a broad, polished release.
Distilled in December 2017 and bottled in August 2022, this 4-year-old whisky was wine matured. That gives the release its setting, but the real point of interest is cask #14384 itself. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like bottlings like this because they show a more specific side of a producer: less about a standard house expression, more about (…)Highland Park Set 3x5cl (12y, 18y & Dragon Legend)

Highland Park Set 3x5cl (12y, 18y & Dragon Legend)

The Highland Park Set 3x5cl brings together three expressions from the Orkney single malt house: Highland Park 12 Year Old, Highland Park 18 Year Old and Dragon Legend. Rather than focusing on one full bottle, it gives you a compact way to explore the range side by side.
Its appeal lies in the comparison. The 12 year old, the 18 year old and Dragon Legend each sit within the same Highland Park family, yet the set leaves room to notice how the style can shift across different expressions. That makes it a thoughtful gift pack, but also a good choice for a calm tasting moment with someone who enjoys Scotch single malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of set as a small introduction with real conversation value. Three 5 cl bottles, presented together at (…)Wolfburn Let It Snow

Wolfburn Let It Snow

Wolfburn Let It Snow is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a name that naturally brings a winter mood to mind. With no age statement, the focus is less on a number and more on the style in the glass: a 46% whisky with enough strength to carry its fruity and spicy side clearly.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Wolfburn stands out for the way its main flavours are supported by gentler accents. Fruit and spice are the most prominent elements, while wood, floral notes, a light salty edge and a subtle touch of peat stay in the background. It gives the whisky a layered feel without pushing it into a heavy style.
As these are the last bottles, Let It Snow has become one of those releases that will not remain part of the selection indefinitely. More information (…)Six Isles Port Finish

Six Isles Port Finish is a Scottish blended malt built around island malts, given an additional layer through a finish in port casks. That finish brings a fruity, wine-like dimension to a whisky that still keeps a sense of maritime strength.
The appeal here is in the contrast: red-fruit sweetness and a gentle Portuguese influence set against light smoke, subtle peat and a touch of salinity. It feels generous without losing its island-inspired edge.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an engaging alternative for drinkers who want to step beyond the usual single malt path. It carries no age statement, is bottled at 48%, and has enough structure to let the port finish, fruit and lightly smoky side speak clearly.

Lagg Inaugural Release 3 belongs to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. This Scottish single malt was distilled in 2019 and bottled at 50%, with a Wine Finish giving this release its own place within the distillery's first wave of bottlings.
The release was limited to 10,000 bottles, and with the last bottles now in focus it has a particular relevance at Drankenshop Broekmans. We see it as a snapshot from the formative years of Lagg: young, clearly defined and already showing a firm sense of direction.
Its flavour profile points to a whisky where fruit and peat carry the main impression, supported by lighter floral, woody, spicy and slightly salty accents. The 50% strength adds presence, making this a single malt with a more pronounced stance rather (…)Ardmore 2009 12y Ww (Campbeltown Whisky Company)

Ardmore 2009 12y Ww is a Highland single malt with a very specific identity: distilled in 2009, bottled in August 2022, matured for 12 years and drawn from a single bourbon barrel. Rather than presenting a broad, blended house expression, it captures one individual cask at one moment in time.
Bottled at 57.1%, it carries its cask strength clearly. The flavour profile points first towards fruit, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice, salinity and gentle peat. That combination gives the whisky a direct, unpolished feel without needing to make it heavy or overworked.

Campbeltown Blended Malt 6y is a young Scottish blended malt with a very direct cask-driven presentation. Bottled by Watt Whisky for the Campbeltown Whisky Company, it comes from a single bourbon barrel and was released at natural cask strength, 58.6% ABV.
Its appeal lies in that sense of focus. This is not a broad vatting designed to smooth everything into one house style, but a single-cask release of just 252 bottles. Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2023, it captures one specific six-year maturation, now down to the last bottles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to drinkers who enjoy a more vivid look at Campbeltown blended malt. The profile is led by floral and fruity notes, with lighter touches of wood and spice, (…)Orkney 2007 (Berry Bros)

Orkney 2007 (Berry Bros)

Orkney 2007 is a Scottish single malt with an appealing element of discretion: the distillery is undisclosed, while the Orkney origin remains the defining clue. In the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, that makes it the kind of whisky that invites attention from drinkers who enjoy exploring provenance without having every expectation set by a familiar distillery name.
Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023, it comes from a single hogshead cask and was released at cask strength. That gives the whisky a very direct identity: one cask, one bottling, no broad blending into a standard house style. At 63.5% alcohol, it clearly keeps the force of the cask intact.

Only 197 bottles were filled, so this is a very small-scale release rather than a regular expression. With the last bottles now in view, it has the kind of focused, limited appeal that fits naturally into the specialist whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans: one cask, one specific maturation, bottled with real strength.
Its profile is led by fruit and peat, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice, saltiness and a floral note. The title Le Poids D'Un Nuage adds a poetic tone to the bottle, but the (…)Caol Ila 2017 9y Rum Cask Finish (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

Caol Ila 2017 9y Rum Cask Finish shows the idea behind Douglas Laing's Paradise In Smoke Collection very clearly: take the coastal smoke of Islay and place it beside a warmer, less expected influence. The whisky still speaks unmistakably of Caol Ila, with maritime character, refined peat smoke and a salty coastal edge.
The finish in a single Barbados rum cask adds layers of tropical fruit and gentle sweetness without pushing the distillery style into the background. That is what makes this release engaging: the rum cask influence brings warmth and fruit, while the Islay side keeps its shape.

Ben Nevis 10y is a Highland single malt with a character that resists simple description. Produced at the Ben Nevis distillery near Fort William, it is presented as dry, robust and full-bodied, with a style that does not feel polished into anonymity.
There is also an interesting story behind this 10-year-old release. It is a small-batch bottling mainly intended for the Japanese market, and the distillery itself is owned by Nikka. As one of the few official bottlings from Ben Nevis, it has a particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers who enjoy discovering a more individual Highland malt.

It matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by an additional sherry cask finish, giving the whisky a clear sherry influence while keeping its Islay identity in view.
What makes this release appealing is the way fruit and spice sit at the centre, with smoke building more gradually rather than taking over immediately. Kilchoman Family Collection Ex Bourbon 18y presents a more mature side of Kilchoman. For this Islay single malt, eighteen years of ageing is an important milestone: the heavily peated malt still gives the whisky its unmistakable smoky foundation, but time in bourbon barrels has softened the edges and brought greater aromatic depth.
The interest here lies in the way the peat has settled into the whisky. It remains clear, yet more refined, sitting alongside ripe fruit, vanilla and a gentle toasted wood influence. It feels like a grown-up reading of the Kilchoman style rather than a forceful display of peat alone.

Yakushima's subtropical microclimate brings mild winters, warm summers and very high humidity throughout the year.
