Shackleton Blended Malt is a Scottish blended malt whisky with a clear, approachable flavour direction. Its character is built around vanilla, honey and orchard fruit, without smoke or heavy oak taking control of the glass.

Famous Grouse Ruby Port Finish 1l

Very last one in stock!

There is no age statement here, so the focus sits on the blend itself and on the influence of the finishing cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who already knows Famous Grouse but wants to explore a softer, fruit-accented variation within the same family.

Bruges Whisky Company Ryggia Almost There 50cl

In stock

Bruges Whisky Company Ryggia Almost There is a young Belgian single malt with a very direct presentation. Distilled in 2019, matured for two years in an oak cask and bottled at cask strength, it captures the whisky at an early but clearly expressive stage.

At 59.7% ABV, this is not a softened-down release. It stays close to the cask, and with only 602 bottles produced, it occupies a distinctive place in the Drankenshop Broekmans range for those who enjoy following Belgian whisky as it develops.

Belgian Owl New Spirit 50cl

In stock

Belgian Owl New Spirit 50cl shows the whisky at its earliest stage: unaged, direct and centred on the distillate itself. Coming from the distillery at Hameau de Goreux, this Non Aged release takes you back to the grain at the origin of Belgian Owl.

Because there is no wood influence here, the cereal side speaks clearly. Malted barley, warm bread and shortbread come forward first, followed by a fresh fruity line of greengage plums, ripe pears and apple cider. A green, grassy echo adds a lively vegetal touch.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is an engaging way to understand Belgian Owl from the inside out: bottled at 46%, without an age statement, and focused on grain, fruit and texture rather than maturation. With the last bottles now in view, it also has a (…)

Wasmund's Single Malt Spirit

On request only

Wasmund's Single Malt Spirit is an American single malt new make spirit from Copper Fox Distillery in Virginia. Rather than focusing on age or maturation, it puts the distillate itself in the foreground: malted barley, a clear production identity and a powerful 62% strength.

Its most distinctive detail is the drying of the malted barley with applewood and cherry wood. That gives this spirit a very specific starting point, making it more than a neutral new make. It feels direct, purposeful and closely tied to the way it was made.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we appreciate for the insight it gives into American single malt before the story is shaped by long ageing. Distilled on 17 April 2013 and now down to the last bottles, it has a (…)

English Whisky Chapter 6

In stock

English Whisky Chapter 6 is a single malt from Great Britain, bottled at 46% and drawn from a single bourbon cask. Distilled in February 2007 and bottled in February 2010, it shows the whisky at three years of age: clear in style, compact in scope, and not presented as a heavily wood-driven maturation.

The appeal here lies in the precision of the bottling. One cask gives a very specific view of The English Whisky Co., rather than the broader character of a larger vatting. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see bottles like this as interesting references for drinkers who enjoy discovering a whisky through a clearly defined release.

With the last bottles now indicated, this Chapter 6 has become a finite snapshot. Once this single cask is gone, the same composition (…)
