Amrut Cask Strength Tube Incl.

In stock

Amrut Cask Strength is an Indian single malt with a clear focus on strength and immediacy. Bottled at cask strength, at 61.8%, it keeps a powerful, undiluted presence that gives the whisky real weight in the glass.

Oak cask maturation is central to its profile. The wood influence is clearly present, with lighter touches of fruit and spice in support. The supplied information does not point to peat or salinity, so the character remains centred on cask strength, oak and direct single malt intensity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place for customers looking beyond the familiar whisky regions and wanting to experience an Indian single malt in a robust style. With no age statement, the emphasis falls on the expression itself: (…)

Pure Kentucky XO

In stock

Pure Kentucky XO is a bourbon with a fuller, more concentrated style. It speaks to drinkers who enjoy power and structure in American whiskey, with intense caramel, spice and wood taking a clear role from the first impression.

Matured in new oak, it carries a deep wood influence, but there is more going on than oak alone. Chocolate and dried fruit add weight to the palate, while the 53.5% strength gives the bourbon a firm, warm presence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Pure Kentucky XO as one of the more robust bourbon choices: a whiskey to pour neat, take your time with and let unfold in the glass.

The aroma is expressive, with intense caramel, spice and clear wood notes. On the palate, Pure Kentucky XO is full and powerful, showing (…)

Glenmorangie X

In stock

Glenmorangie X is a Scottish Highland single malt with a contemporary feel and no age statement. Rather than placing the focus on a stated number of years, it draws attention to style, wood influence and the way the whisky presents itself in the glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out because of the Amburana Wood reference. The supplied flavour profile points to a whisky where wood is clearly present, supported by lighter touches of spice and fruit. Peat, salt and floral notes are not part of the main picture here, so the character remains centred on its wood-led direction.

It has become a well-liked Glenmorangie release, and we are now down to the last bottles. For anyone exploring Highland single malt through a more wood-focused lens, (…)

Jack Daniels Single Barrel Incl. Box

Temporarily sold out

Jack Daniels Single Barrel presents Jack Daniels in a more focused, cask-driven form. This Tennessee whiskey from the United States is bottled at 50% and comes from a single individual barrel, giving the release a more specific identity than a standard blended batch.

New oak is an important part of the story here. The profile points clearly towards wood, with spice and fruit playing a supporting role rather than taking over. There is no age statement, so the emphasis falls naturally on barrel selection, bottling strength and the particular character captured from that one cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fitting choice for customers who already know Jack Daniels but want to explore a stronger and more barrel-led version of the whiskey, still (…)

Macallan 25y Sherry Oak

Only 3 left in stock!

Macallan 25y Sherry Oak is built around maturity, patience and sherry-influenced cask ageing. As a 25-year-old Speyside single malt, it sits in a more composed register, with wood playing a clear role and fruit and spice adding quieter support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for someone drawn to Macallan in a mature, sherry-led style rather than a loud or heavily smoky one. At 43%, the focus remains on the long maturation and the character carried by the cask.

Its appeal lies in that combination of age, Speyside origin and sherry oak direction. It is a whisky where the story is shaped by time in wood, with a measured profile rather than overt intensity.

Deanston Virgin Oak Finish Incl. Box

In stock

Deanston Virgin Oak Finish is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a clear focus on the influence of new oak. The name already gives away the main idea: the whisky receives a virgin oak finish, allowing the wood to play a more active role in the overall style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Deanston for drinkers who are curious about cask influence rather than peat or coastal character. The available profile points to a noticeable woody side, supported by gentle spice and fruit. No peated or salty profile is indicated, so the emphasis stays on oak, structure and the Highland single malt base.

Bottled at 46.3%, it has a little extra strength compared with many standard releases, while the product information does not present it as cask (…)

Glenlivet Campdalemore 19y

On request only

Glenlivet Campdalemore 19y is a Speyside single malt built around a very particular idea: 19 years of maturation, one individual oak cask and bottling at cask strength. At 58.1% ABV, it presents the whisky in a powerful, undiluted setting where the identity of that single cask matters.

Bottled on 17 August 2015, this release has a clear sense of place in time. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it above all as a scarce Glenlivet bottling: single cask, last bottles and marked as a collector's item, without needing to dress it up as a standard shelf whisky.

The stated flavour profile points most clearly to oak influence, with lighter fruit and spice in support. Peat is not the focus here; the appeal lies in age, cask character and the direct intensity of a cask (…)

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Scottish single malt we would introduce to someone looking beyond peat and power, towards a mature Speyside style shaped by oak, gentle spice and a modest fruity side. At 43% alcohol, it keeps a composed strength rather than an assertive one.

The main impression is one of wood-led maturity, with fruit and spice playing a supporting role. Knockando 21y feels measured and grown-up, a whisky where time in cask matters more than dramatic intensity.

The whisky has been matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. Its profile points to a clear wood influence, supported by lighter fruit and spice notes. Longmorn 23y

Longmorn 23y is a Scottish Speyside single malt where age is the defining element. Twenty-three years in oak cask give this whisky a mature, wood-led profile, with no indication in the supplied profile that peat or salty notes play a central role.

At 48% ABV, it has a little more presence than many standard-strength releases. The flavour profile points clearly towards oak, supported by lighter fruit and spice. It is the kind of Longmorn that speaks more through maturity and cask influence than through overt sweetness or smoke.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Longmorn 23y stands out because only the last bottles remain. That makes it a quietly distinctive choice for anyone looking at older Speyside single malt with a pronounced oak character.

Armorik Chant De Marin

In stock

Armorik Chant de Marin has a distinctly Breton identity. Created for the Festival du Chant de Marin, this French single malt carries a maritime mood from the name right through to the bottle, which is decorated with artwork by Guy Hlóstis.

Maturation in rum and bourbon casks gives it a bright, flavourful direction, built around vanilla, citrus, exotic fruit and a spiced finish. The wood influence is clear, yet the whisky keeps a fresh and lively feel rather than becoming heavy.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a characterful way to explore French single malt through a very specific Breton story. With 1500 bottles released, Chant de Marin feels tied to its festival inspiration and offers something more personal than a standard everyday (…)

This whiskey comes from the United States and is linked to American oak maturation, reflected in the clearly present wood-driven side of its profile. There is no age statement here, so the focus stays on the Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey style rather than on a specific maturation age.

Wild Turkey 101 Proof

New oak is an important part of its identity, bringing a clear wood influence, with spice and fruit present in a lighter supporting role. Hellyers Road Original Roaring Forty

On request only

Hellyers Road Original Roaring Forty is an Australian single malt with a clear Tasmanian origin: distilled from Tasmanian grain, made with pure drinking water and matured in American oak. Its bourbon barrel maturation brings a confident wood influence, while the whisky is bottled without colouring and without chill filtration.

The Roaring Forty name refers to the winds that blow at 40 km/h through the rain clouds and make whisky production possible. That gives this release a sense of place beyond the cask itself. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a popular Australian single malt, now represented by the last bottles in our selection.

Mackmyra 12 Years Tolv

On request only

Mackmyra 12 Years Tolv comes from the Moment range, the series Mackmyra reserves for some of its most exclusive bottlings. These releases are built from only a small number of casks, selected by Master Blender Angela d'Orazio when they stand clearly apart. Tolv is especially meaningful in that context: at the time of release, it was the oldest whisky Mackmyra had ever bottled.

Distilled in 2004, this Swedish single malt spent 12 years maturing, which is reflected in the name Tolv. Part of its story lies in the Bodäs mine, Mackmyra's best-known warehouse, 50 metres underground. Some of the distillery's earliest casks were placed there, and after maturation in first fill bourbon and American oak Oloroso casks, the whisky returned to daylight with an elegant, gently (…)

Jim Beam Devil's Cut

In stock

Jim Beam Devil's Cut is an American bourbon with a slightly firmer presence than many softer entry-level styles. At 45% ABV, it brings a little more weight to the glass while staying clearly within the familiar Jim Beam bourbon family.

The key element here is the influence of new oak. Wood is the leading part of the profile, supported by a lighter touch of spice and a modest fruity note. The name Devil's Cut suits that darker, oak-led direction, giving the bourbon a more pronounced personality without turning it into an overly technical drink.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Jim Beam for customers who enjoy bourbon with more oak emphasis and a bit more strength. It carries no age statement, so the focus is less on maturity as a number and more on (…)

The oak cask maturation brings a clear woody warmth, supported by gentle spice and ripe fruit. At 43% alcohol, it remains composed and approachable, while the age gives it the layered feel one looks for in an older Scottish single malt.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place with the more mature Scotch whiskies: calm, refined and with a reputation to match. Its recognition as Best Scotch Whisky at the Scotch Whisky Masters 2020 fits naturally with that impression of richness held in balance.

Dry Fly Wheat Cask Strength

On request only

Dry Fly Wheat Cask Strength is an American wheat whiskey with a very clear identity: it is made from 100% wheat and bottled at cask strength. At 60% ABV it certainly has weight on paper, yet the supplied description points to a full, rounded taste that feels surprisingly composed for that strength.

New oak gives the whiskey a firm frame, with wood and spice clearly present alongside the softer wheat-driven character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for an American whiskey with more intensity than a standard release, but without turning the experience into pure alcohol power.

With only the last bottles remaining, this Dry Fly has become a more limited find. Its appeal lies in the combination of wheat (…)

Belgrove 2016 #170216 (Berry Bros)

On request only

Belgrove 2016 #170216 is the kind of rye whisky that immediately gives you something to talk about. This Tasmanian single cask bottling was selected for Collective#1 by Berry Bros. & Rudd, the British independent bottler bringing together spirits from around the world with a shared willingness to challenge convention and reduce their impact on natural resources.

The story at Belgrove Distillery is especially hands-on. Pete Bignell grows his own rye, built his own stills and fires them with used cooking oil. According to the supplied information, the distillery operates almost as a closed loop, with bio-oil as the only outside input and whisky as the only output. That gives this rye a very distinctive identity before you even pour a glass.

Cask #170216 was (…)
