Octomore 14.2 Tube Incl.

In stock

Octomore 14.2 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 57.7%. It is a whisky built around intensity: heavily peated, clearly maritime in tone, and presented without dilution.

Distilled in 2017 and aged for 5 years, it keeps a youthful, direct energy. The American Oak maturation frames the whisky, while the supplied profile points most strongly toward peat smoke and saltiness, with lighter traces of fruit and spice in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a forceful Islay single malt rather than a softened interpretation of the style. Octomore 14.2 is compact, powerful and unmistakably driven by peat and coastal character.

Octomore 14.1 Tube Incl. (Damaged: Label dirty, damaged or missing)

Very last one in stock!

Octomore 14.1 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich with a very direct sense of power. Bottled at cask strength at 59.6%, it places peat firmly at the centre, supported by a clearly salty side that gives the whisky a strong island identity.

Distilled in 2017 and matured for 5 years in a bourbon barrel, this release is not presented as a wood-driven whisky. The available flavour profile gives oak little emphasis, so the focus stays on peat intensity, salinity and the energy of a young cask-strength single malt.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Octomore 14.1 as a whisky for drinkers who deliberately seek out the more forceful side of Islay: high strength, dominant peat and a compact maturation that keeps the message clear. With only the last bottles (…)

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15

In stock

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15 presents Islay single malt in a particularly direct form: ten years old, bottled at cask strength and carrying a substantial 56.5% alcohol. It is a version that keeps closer to the strength of the cask rather than being softened into a gentler standard bottling.

Bourbon cask maturation provides the setting, but the main impression is shaped by the clearly present Islay elements: peat, saltiness and spice take the lead, with a lighter fruit note sitting behind them. Batch 15 is therefore a whisky with real presence, built around intensity rather than restraint.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers looking for Laphroaig with extra force and definition. With only the last (…)

Elements Of Islay Beach Bonfire

On request only

Elements of Islay Beach Bonfire is a limited edition blended malt built around a very vivid idea: a bonfire burning on an Islay beach. The name is more than a label here. It points straight to the whisky's personality, with smoke, sand, warmth and spice shaping the experience from the start. It brings together malt whisky from two characterful Islay distilleries and is bottled at cask strength, at 54.5% ABV.

The composition draws on New Oak, Bourbon, Refill and Sherry casks, giving the blend several different angles to work with. There is smoke with a glowing ember feel, a salty edge, clear spice and a lighter fruit note beneath it all. It is a powerful Islay blended malt, with the supplier description pointing to bonfire cinder smoke and a sweetly spiced finish.

Mister Peat (Rest & Be Thankful)

In stock

Mister Peat is very clear about its intentions. This Scottish single malt from the Lowland region puts peat at the centre of the glass, with a style that is openly smoky rather than politely restrained. The peat comes through in vegetal, earthy and ashy tones.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone looking for a direct peated character with a clean presentation. It is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, allowing its citrus and iodine notes to sit naturally alongside the smoke.

Although matured in American Oak, the story here is not driven by heavy wood influence. The focus remains on peat, salinity and spice, lifted by a touch of fruitiness. Mister Peat is a straightforward, (…)

Ardbeg 10y Incl. Box

In stock

Ardbeg 10y is an Islay single malt with peat smoke at its core. Ardbeg Ten Years Old is known worldwide for its powerful peaty style, yet the appeal here is not only intensity. The natural softness of the malt remains part of the whisky, giving the smoke a sweeter, more rounded side rather than letting it dominate in a one-dimensional way.

It spends 10 years in old first-fill and second-fill American oak bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% without chill filtration, helping to preserve body and depth. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we point to when someone wants a clearly smoky Islay malt with real presence and a maritime edge.

The fact that it was named World Whisky of the Year in 2008 sits naturally alongside its broad international (…)

Caol Ila 2013 9y Art6 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

In stock

Caol Ila 2013 9y Art6 is an Islay single malt with the appeal of a focused independent release. Bottled by Signatory for the Artist Edition, it takes a familiar distillery name and presents it through a more specific, limited lens.

Distilled in 2013 and matured for 9 years in a wine cask, it sits apart from more regular Caol Ila expressions without losing the Islay identity suggested by its profile: peat, salt and spice play the leading roles, with fruit sitting more quietly in the background. At 48%, it has enough strength to carry that character with confidence.

Only 1388 bottles were released, and at Drankenshop Broekmans this is the sort of bottling we look at as a snapshot of Caol Ila from an independent selector's point of view. It is a bottle for (…)

Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2019 6y Ww (Campbeltown Whisky Company)

On request only

Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2019 6y Ww shows a bold, peated side of Islay single malt. Young in age but far from shy in personality, it was matured in a sherry hogshead, giving the whisky a meeting point between dense smoke and red-fruited richness.

There is a very direct feel to this release. It comes from a single cask, bottled at 57.1% cask strength, so the character is presented with real intensity. The supplied notes point clearly towards smoky barbecue sauce, dry ash, strawberry, raspberry and dark cherry.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we like to place in front of customers who enjoy peat with a clear sherry influence rather than a soft background accent. With 330 bottles filled and the last bottles now in circulation, it is a limited (…)

Oc2 Elements Of Islay 50cl (Speciality Drinks)

On request only

Oc2 Elements Of Islay is a Scottish single malt from the Limited Edition range of Elements of Islay, bottled by Speciality Drinks. In the series' periodic-table style coding, Oc stands for Octomore from Bruichladdich, with the number marking the batch. It is a concise but very effective way of putting a specific Islay identity in the spotlight.

The strength is an important part of the story here. Bottled at cask strength at 63.5%, Oc2 keeps a powerful, direct presence rather than being shaped into a softer standard release. Its wine maturation gives this heavily peated Islay whisky a distinct setting, while the absence of an age statement keeps the focus on batch character and cask selection.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in (…)

Talisker Nad Sr 2023 Tube Incl.

In stock

Talisker Nad Sr 2023 is a Skye single malt built around intensity and a clearly defined flavour direction. Bottled at 59.7% ABV and presented at cask strength, it keeps its power close to the glass. The Port Finish adds another layer to a profile shaped by salinity, peat smoke and spice, with fruit playing a more subtle supporting role.

With no age statement, the focus here is not on a number of years, but on the chosen style: a strong 2023 Talisker release with a finishing touch that gives the whisky a different angle. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a distinctive Skye malt for drinkers who appreciate bold, savoury and smoky flavours rather than a softer, easy-going style.

These are also the last bottles, giving the release a more limited feel. (…)

Talisker Distillers Edition 2022

In stock

Talisker Distillers Edition 2022 is a single malt whisky from Skye with a clearly defined personality: peat smoke, salt and spice, given an added layer by its sherry finish.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who enjoys a maritime style with a little extra depth. The 2022 release carries no age statement, so the focus falls squarely on its flavour direction: smoky, saline and spicy, with fruit playing a more modest supporting role.

At 45.8% alcohol, it has enough strength to keep that coastal and peated character firmly present. With only the last bottles remaining, this is not a release that will stay around indefinitely.

The flavour profile of Talisker Distillers Edition 2022 is led by peat (…)

Talisker 8y 2018 is a single malt from Skye with a young, forceful personality. Bottled at 59.4% and matured in a bourbon cask, it shows a more direct side of Talisker, where strength and distillery character take the lead rather than heavy wood influence.

The main impression is built around spice, saltiness and peat, with a lighter fruit note sitting underneath. That makes this release feel focused and coastal in style, with the bourbon cask supporting the whisky rather than covering it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to customers looking for a more distinctive Talisker release. With only the last bottles remaining and its status as a collector's item, this 2018 edition has a clearly limited feel.

Islay's Finest 2nd Ed (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

On request only

Islay's Finest 2nd Ed is a Scottish single malt with a clearly defined Islay voice: peat, coastal saltiness and spice form the core of its identity. It was bottled by The Nectar as part of the Daily Dram range, placing the focus on an individual selection rather than a broad, standard expression.

The appeal here lies in its precision. This is a single cask whisky from one Bourbon Barrel, bottled at cask strength at 53.7%. With only 240 bottles produced, it is a limited release, and the remaining bottles at Drankenshop Broekmans have become especially interesting for drinkers who appreciate small-batch Islay bottlings.

Bottled in 2017, it presents a specific snapshot of one cask rather than a blended house profile. The emphasis is firmly on peat, salt and (…)

Octomore 14.3

On request only

Octomore 14.3 is a Scottish single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, bottled at cask strength with an alcoholic strength of 61.4%. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a whisky where peat is not a supporting note, but the main statement.

Distilled in 2017 and aged for 5 years, it presents a direct and powerful side of Islay whisky. The profile is strongly peated, with a clear salty dimension running alongside lighter touches of wood, spice and fruit.

For drinkers looking for an Islay single malt built around intensity, smoke and coastal character, Octomore 14.3 speaks with a very clear voice.

Ardbeg Anthology 13y

In stock

Ardbeg Anthology 13y is an Islay single malt built around a combination of bourbon and Sauternes casks. It stays close to the smoky, peated identity associated with Ardbeg, while the cask choice gives this 13-year-old release a more layered setting than a straightforward Islay bottling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place in conversation with customers who enjoy peat and spice, but also appreciate a release with a slightly different angle. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character clearly without being positioned as a cask strength whisky.

With only the last bottles remaining, this Anthology edition has become a more limited proposition. It is not just about rarity, though; the interest lies in the meeting of (…)

Ardbeg Smoketrails 2nd Edition Cote Rotie 1l Travel Retail

In stock

Ardbeg Smoketrails 2nd Edition Côte Rôtie is an Islay single malt with a very clear sense of direction: peat, salt and spice are the main threads running through it. As the second edition in the Smoketrails line, the Côte Rôtie reference in the name gives this release its own particular identity.

The character is built around a smoky and maritime core, with spice playing a clear supporting role. Fruit and wood are present more gently, so the whisky keeps its focus on that robust Islay side rather than moving into a sweeter or heavily oaked style. At 46% alcohol, it has enough weight to carry that profile with confidence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ardbeg that stands out for customers looking beyond the regular (…)

Talisker Skye Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Talisker Skye is a Scottish single malt that puts its origin right at the centre of the glass. The name points directly to Skye, and the whisky follows that direction with a clear island-led profile built around saltiness, peat and spice rather than an age statement.

American oak plays a supporting role here. It adds a light wood influence without taking over, allowing the more distinctive elements to stand forward: a salty edge, peated depth, firm spice and a modest fruit note. At 45.8% ABV, Talisker Skye has enough strength to carry that character clearly.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of a single malt where place and style matter more than age on the label. It is a whisky for drinkers looking for a recognisably maritime, smoky and (…)

Kilchoman 13y

On request only

Kilchoman 13y is a limited edition Islay single malt that speaks clearly of the distillery's hands-on approach. Founded in 2005, Kilchoman is known for its commitment to traditional methods and is among the few Scottish distilleries still working with a traditional malting method.

The maturity here comes from at least 13 years in a combination of bourbon casks, octaves and calvados casks. That cask mix gives the whisky a layered feel, with fruit, sweetness, spice, peat smoke and coastal saltiness all playing a role. It remains unmistakably Islay, but there is more to follow than smoke alone.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Kilchoman that shows a more developed side of the distillery. Bottled at 50%, it has the strength to carry its fruit, (…)

Laphroaig Elements L1.0 Incl. Box

Laphroaig Elements L1.0 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with the emphasis firmly on the side of peat and salinity. At 58.6% alcohol, it is a robust release rather than a gentle introduction, carrying its Islay identity with real presence.

Maturation in a bourbon barrel gives the whisky its setting, yet the supplied flavour profile does not put wood at the centre. The impression is driven more by peat smoke and coastal saltiness, with lighter touches of fruit and spice in support. As a no-age-statement bottling, it draws attention to style, strength and expression rather than maturation age.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Laphroaig that speaks clearly to drinkers who appreciate a more pronounced Islay character. With only the last bottles (…)
