The Gauldrons Eclipse (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)
In stock
The Gauldrons Eclipse is a Campbeltown blended malt with a distinctly different angle. Douglas Laing created it from Single Cask Single Malts from Campbeltown, then gave the whisky a finish in orange wine casks from the cellars of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia. It keeps its Scottish malt identity, while adding a cask influence that immediately gives the release its own place.
Bottled at natural cask strength, 52.9% ABV, it is presented without chill filtration or added colouring. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for the way it brings together origin, cask choice and a limited release format without feeling routine.
Only 3000 bottles are available. The gold foil details and neck label with a QR code for an interactive tasting (…)Advent Calendar Whisky 25*2cl 2026 Fr

Advent Calendar Whisky 25*2cl 2026 Fr
Only 2 left in stock!
Advent Calendar Whisky 25*2cl 2026 Fr is built around the pleasure of discovery. Instead of one full bottle, it brings together 25 small 2 cl whisky servings in a gift format, turning each opening into a separate tasting moment.
The appeal here is the mixed selection. It is not presented as a single-country or single-brand experience, but as a varied whisky calendar with whisky as the common thread. At 44.61% ABV, it keeps a clear whisky focus while remaining centred on exploration and comparison.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this kind of calendar fits the customer who enjoys tasting broadly, giving something original, or making the run-up to the festive season a little more thoughtful. The Fr in the name indicates the French version of the 2026 edition.

Starward Unexpeated
On request only
Starward Unexpeated is an Australian single malt with a deliberately unexpected twist. Rather than focusing on an age statement, it draws attention to its Islay finish, adding a light thread of peat and salinity to a whisky where spice remains the most pronounced element.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that shows how a finish can shift the tone of a single malt without turning it into something overwhelmingly smoky. The Islay influence is present, but measured, sitting alongside gentle fruit, wood and floral notes.
Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to carry that character clearly. With only the last bottles remaining, this is a release with limited availability in our selection.

The English Whisky Company 12y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)
On request only
The English Whisky Company 12y is a fine example of how compelling single malt from Great Britain can be when given time to mature. Aged for 12 years in a bourbon barrel and bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection, it feels focused on the whisky itself rather than on decoration or spectacle.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for the combination of an English single malt identity, independent bottling and a mature age statement. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its profile, with spice as the clearest element and lighter traces of wood, fruit, floral notes, saltiness and gentle peat in support.
With the last bottles now in our selection, it is the kind of whisky that rewards a curious drinker looking beyond the most (…)Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish Incl. Box

Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish Incl. Box
In stock
Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish is built around a clear meeting point: Islay single malt on one side, a Bordeaux cask finish on the other. The whisky keeps its Scottish island identity, while the Bordeaux Finish adds another layer to a 14-year-old Bowmore.
What stands out here is the way the profile is shaped. Peat and a salty accent are present, but they do not take over completely. Spice has the stronger voice, with lighter touches of fruit, floral notes and wood sitting around it. That gives the whisky a more layered impression than a purely peat-driven Islay malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of Bowmore as especially interesting for drinkers who enjoy Islay, yet want to explore what a wine cask finish can bring to a single malt. Bottled at 43%, (…)Bowmore 15y Sherry Incl. Box

Bowmore 15y Sherry Incl. Box

Bowmore 15y Sherry shows a richer side of this Islay single malt. It spends 15 years maturing in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by a sherry finish, giving it extra depth and maturity compared with the 12-year-old expression it builds upon.
The sherry influence adds weight and darker sweetness, but it does not push the Islay character into the background. Gentle smoke, a light salty edge, spice and wood all sit within the same frame, making the whisky feel layered rather than simply sweet.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bowmore we would introduce to someone looking for a fuller style within the Sherry Oak range. Bottled at 43%, it remains approachable in strength while offering a more developed, mature and spice-led drinking (…)Six Isles Rum Finish

Six Isles Rum Finish
On request only
Six Isles Rum Finish brings together the coastal freshness of the Scottish islands and the warmer, sweeter influence of Caribbean rum casks. The result is a Scotch blended malt with a sunnier edge, where island character meets notes that feel more exotic and spiced.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to present when someone is looking for smoke without heaviness, and sweetness without becoming overly soft. The rum finish adds brown sugar, ripe fruit and molasses-like depth, while a gentle salty note keeps the whisky lively.
Bottled at 48%, Six Isles Rum Finish has enough strength to carry its creamy, warm style. It remains recognisably Scottish, yet the rum cask finishing gives it a more adventurous and inviting personality.

Rock Island 14y Sherry (Douglas Laing Regional Malts) Tube Incl.

Rock Island 14y Sherry is a limited blended malt from Douglas Laing's Regional Malts series, a range built around the classic whisky identities of Scotland's different regions. Rock Island represents the wilder island side of that story, with whiskies drawn from Jura, Orkney, Arran and Islay.
The sherry maturation gives this 14-year-old release an extra layer of richness while keeping the island influence clearly in view. There is room here for coastal freshness, gentle peat smoke, spice and darker fruit, all carried by a bottling strength of 46.8%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly engaging Rock Island for anyone who enjoys the Regional Malts approach but wants a version with more sherry depth and maturity. Remarkable Regional Malts Mid Autumn The Asia Moon is a Douglas Laing blended malt with a broader, more celebratory angle than the usual Regional Malts idea. The series is known for capturing the character of Scottish malt whisky with a playful sense of presentation, and this Asia Moon Edition brings together single malts from all Scottish regions in one limited release.
It was created in honour of the Moon Festival, and that sense of occasion suits the whisky well. The blend was finished in port, bourbon and sherry casks, then bottled at 50%, giving it enough strength and structure to carry its spicy, malty and gently smoky side with confidence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those Douglas Laing releases that has more personality than a (…)Caol Ila 2006 18y (The Single Malts Of Scotland) Incl. Box

Caol Ila 2006 18y is a tightly defined Islay single malt: distilled on 23 August 2006, matured for 18 years in a single refill hogshead and bottled on 24 April 2025. With only 271 bottles drawn from cask #307354, and with the last bottles now indicated, this is the kind of release where the individual cask really matters.
The setting behind the whisky is part of its identity. Caol Ila is located at the foot of the cliffs near Port Askaig on Islay's east coast, and the supplied information describes the distillery as known for elegant, maritime peated whiskies. This bottling stays close to that idea, bringing together smoke, saltiness and mature cask influence in a way that keeps the distillery character visible.

Springbank 1996 21y is a Campbeltown single malt where the appeal lies in its precision. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2018 after 21 years of maturation, it comes from a single hogshead cask. Rather than presenting a broad house-style composition, it captures one individual cask at one specific point in its life.
Bottled at cask strength, at 50.9% alcohol, it keeps a direct connection with the whisky as it left the cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are selected for drinkers who enjoy mature single malts with a clear provenance and a limited, one-cask identity.

Talisker 1987 39y GM is a whisky shaped above all by time. Distilled in 1987 and bottled after 39 years of maturation, it presents the rugged island identity of Skye in a deeply aged form. The wild peat character described here has not disappeared; it has been softened and deepened by long maturation.
Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as a single cask at 51.4% cask strength, this is a very small release of 300 bottles. Rather than a broad expression, it captures one individual cask after almost four decades of development.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Talisker stands out for drinkers looking for mature Scottish single malt with a clear sense of place: maritime smoke, gentle salinity, mature fruit and spice, all tied to the island character of Skye.

Single Orkney 2009 14y #3 (Berry Bros)

Single Orkney 2009 14y #3 is built around a quiet sense of mystery. The distillery is not disclosed, though the whisky comes from one of Orkney's two distilleries. That makes it a fitting part of Berry Bros & Rudd's Coasts & Shores series, a collection shaped around distilleries found near dramatic coastlines in Scotland and beyond.
Orkney sits far to the north of Scotland, a place of wind, wide views, varied nature and neolithic monuments. This 2009 single malt carries that sense of place without needing to name the distillery on the label. It spent 14 years in a hogshead before being bottled in 2023 at a strong 60.2% ABV.

Kyrö Wood Smoke gives Finnish rye whisky a very clear voice. It is made from 100% malted Finnish whole rye, so the grain sits right at the heart of the whisky. Its smoke comes from an old Scandinavian tradition, with the malt smoked over alder wood in a centuries-old barn.
That detail matters in the glass. The whisky carries a warm, spicy rye character, supported by wood smoke rather than overwhelmed by it. Double distillation in pot stills keeps the style close to its craft roots, while maturation in ex-bourbon oak, French oak and new American oak adds further depth and wood influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out when someone wants rye whisky with a different accent: Finnish, smoky, grain-driven and clearly (…)Ardnamurchan Single Malt + 2 Glasses

Shizuoka United S Winter 2023 is a Japanese single malt where the word United carries real meaning. At Shizuoka, it refers to a marriage of roughly equal parts whisky distilled on the K-still and the W-still, bringing together two sides of the distillery's production in one release.
Maturation took place mainly in ex-bourbon casks, with a smaller contribution from wine casks. That gives the whisky a setting where fruit, vanilla and gentle oak can come forward without becoming heavy. The peat is very light, more a fine smoky thread in the background than a dominant feature.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we appreciate for its detail rather than volume. Bottled at 50.5%, it has presence, yet the overall impression remains elegant: fruity, (…)Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch

Its interest lies in the combination of maturity, small-batch character and the fact that these are the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky with a calm, developed presence: wood and spice have real weight, while fruit and floral notes sit more quietly in the background.
The hogshead maturation and long age give this Caperdonich a composed, mature style. The peat adds tension and depth without taking over, leaving the emphasis on aged malt character, cask influence and (…)Aultmore 2014 10y (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers)
