The Deveron 12y Madeira Incl. Box

The Deveron 12y Madeira is a Scottish Speyside single malt built around 12 years of maturation and a Madeira finish. That finishing cask gives this release a more specific identity within The Deveron range, without turning it into an overly technical whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for drinkers looking for a Speyside single malt with a clearly spiced direction, supported by lighter fruit, wood and floral tones. Smoke and salinity are not part of the profile here, so the focus remains on the cask-led character and the whisky's softer structure.
Its popularity is easy to understand: a familiar Scottish single malt foundation, a clear age statement and a Madeira finish that adds a point of difference.

Glenallachie 10y Grattamacco Wine Finish is a Speyside single malt built around a clear wine-finished identity. It carries a 10 year age statement and is bottled at 48%, giving it a little more presence than many softer-strength releases.
The Grattamacco Wine Finish is the defining detail here. It steers the whisky towards a spicier style, supported by lighter touches of fruit, floral character and oak. There is no peated angle to lean on; the interest comes from the way the wine finish adds another layer to the Speyside malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glenallachie we like to point out to customers who enjoy exploring wine cask finishes without moving into an overly heavy style. It remains recognisably single malt, but with a more (…)Glenallachie 12y Incl. Box

Glenallachie 12y is a Scottish single malt from Speyside with spice clearly at the centre of its style. The 12 years of ageing give it a mature frame, while still leaving room for lighter accents around the edges.
What stands out here is the way the spiced character is supported by gentle fruity, floral and woody notes. It is not a whisky built around peat or salinity; the interest lies more in its Speyside origin, its age and the way the spice gives the malt extra shape.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Glenallachie 12y sits well among Speyside single malts for drinkers looking for something with more spiced depth than a purely fruit-led profile. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character without feeling overdriven.

Glenallachie 9y Douro Valley Wine Finish is a Speyside single malt built around a clearly spiced profile, with lighter fruity, floral and woody accents in support. The name points to the defining feature of this 9 year old release: a finish connected to Douro Valley wine casks.
Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to carry that spiced character with confidence, while staying away from peat-driven intensity. The focus is on the interaction between Speyside malt, maturation and the additional layer brought by the wine finish.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Glenallachie sits well among whiskies for drinkers who enjoy seeing how a finish can shape the final style of a single malt. With 12,000 bottles released, it is a clearly defined bottling, though its appeal (…)Glenallachie 9y Rye Wood Finish

Glenallachie 9y Rye Wood Finish

Glenallachie 9y Rye Wood Finish is a Speyside single malt with a distinctive rye wood finish. At 9 years old, it presents Glenallachie from a slightly different angle, with spice taking a more prominent role than in many more traditionally framed Speyside malts.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that tends to catch the eye of whisky drinkers who already enjoy single malt but want to explore how a rye finish can shape the character. The whisky remains firmly Scottish in origin, yet the finishing cask brings a drier, spicier accent to the conversation.
Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to let that spiced side come through clearly. Gentle wood, fruit and floral elements sit around it rather than taking over, giving the whisky a focused (…)Glenallachie 12y Moscatel Finish Incl. Box

Glenallachie 12y Moscatel Finish is a Speyside single malt where maturation plays a central role in the identity of the whisky. Aged for 12 years and finished in Moscatel casks, it brings a distinct cask influence to the Glenallachie name while remaining firmly within the world of Scottish single malt.
The profile is led by spice, with lighter fruity, floral and woody accents giving it extra shape. At 48% alcohol, it has a little more presence in the glass, while the available flavour profile does not point towards peat or saline notes.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Glenallachie as a good fit for drinkers looking for a Speyside whisky with a clear finishing-cask identity and a spicier direction than a purely fruit-forward style.

Adelphi's Highland Malt 10y (Adelphi's Regional Range)
On request only
Adelphi's Highland Malt 10y is a Scottish single malt from Teaninich distillery in the Northern Highlands. As part of Adelphi's Regional Range, it feels very much like a bottling chosen for its sense of place and distillery character rather than for broad commercial styling.
Matured for 10 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, it brings together gentle malt, light fruit and a restrained sherry influence. The wood remains supportive rather than dominant, helped by Adelphi's careful cask selection. Bottled at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, it keeps close to the natural profile of the whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like releases such as this because they show how nuanced a Highland single malt can be when it is (…)Macallan Aera For Taiwan

Macallan Aera For Taiwan

Macallan Aera For Taiwan is a Speyside single malt with a name that immediately sets it apart. The Taiwan reference gives this bottle a more specific identity than a standard Macallan release, while the whisky itself remains centred on sherry maturation.
There is no age statement here, so the focus moves towards the chosen maturation style and the flavour direction. The profile points to a clearly spiced character, supported by lighter fruit, floral and woody touches. It is not a peated style, so the emphasis stays on sherry-driven warmth rather than smoke.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Macallan we would present to someone looking for a bottle with a distinctive market reference and a limited availability feel. With only the last bottles (…)Macallan Quest 1l Incl. Box

Macallan Quest 1l Incl. Box

Macallan Quest 1l is a Scottish single malt from Speyside with a straightforward focus: no age statement takes centre stage, while the style leans more clearly towards spice than towards heavy wood or fruit. The one-litre format also gives it a generous presence, whether opened for sharing or kept as part of a whisky selection.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this Macallan with Speyside whiskies that favour a calm, unpeated profile. Light floral and fruity touches sit alongside a modest wood note, while spice gives the whisky its main direction. At 40% alcohol, it stays within a classic drinking strength and keeps the emphasis on the softer, spiced side of single malt.

What makes it engaging is the focus on a single cask rather than a broadly composed house expression. Bottled at cask strength and drawn from an outturn of 628 bottles, it presents this particular maturation in a direct, unblended way. Its appeal lies in the way it keeps close to the cask. Bottled at cask strength, at 60%, this is not a softened or heavily adjusted release. With 1997 bottles produced, and with the last bottles now in stock, it has a naturally limited feel within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we value for its clear sense of origin and limited scale. Bottled at 52.9%, it has plenty of strength, yet the character described here leans toward chocolate, nuts, fruit and gentle spice rather than peat or coastal notes.
