Chateau Suduiraut Vieilles Vignes Grand Vin Blanc Sec 2020 is a dry white Bordeaux with a particularly interesting origin. It comes from Suduiraut's Premier Cru Classé terroir in Sauternes, yet it is made as a dry white wine rather than in the sweet style for which the estate is historically known.
The 2020 blend brings together 58% sémillon and 42% sauvignon blanc from selected old-vine parcels, with an average vine age of around 45 years. That old-vine selection gives the wine its focus: a dry Bordeaux blanc shaped by the estate's own terroir rather than a simple aromatic white.

Lions de Suduiraut Blanc Sec 2022 shows a different side of Château Suduiraut. The estate is rooted in Sauternes, yet this wine is made as a dry white Bordeaux rather than a sweet Sauternes. It keeps the precision of the domaine while moving into a fresher, more aromatic style intended for drinking young.
The blend combines sémillon and sauvignon blanc from selected plots on fine sandy gravel soils. In the warm, early 2022 vintage, that gives the wine a lively aromatic line with enough roundness to feel complete. Six months of ageing, split between vats and barriques, adds texture without taking the wine away from its bright white Bordeaux identity.
