Dictador Sinfonia Pardo 1999 Incl. Box

In stock

Dictador Sinfonia Pardo 1999 is a Colombian rum made from sugar cane syrup and distilled in 1999 in traditional columns. It belongs to a more specialised side of Dictador, where careful distillation and maturation are presented as part of the brand's wider heritage.

Dictador describes its Sinfonia and Libreto rums as rare special editions, created as collector pieces that reflect craftsmanship and refinement. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Pardo 1999 is therefore the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking beyond everyday rum: a vintage-dated release with a clear sense of scarcity.

Bottled at 43%, it keeps its strength in a measured register, while the last-bottles status makes clear that this edition is nearing the end of its availability. More (…)

Plantation Guyana 2008 15y Single Cask For Sits (Planteray - Plantation Single Cask)

On request only

Plantation Guyana 2008 15y Single Cask For Sits is a very focused Guyanese rum: one cask, one vintage, and just 300 bottles. Distilled from molasses at Diamond Distillery in 2008 and bottled in 2023, it carries 15 years of maturation in a style that feels deliberately bold and full of detail.

Its maturation path is especially important here. The rum first spent 2 years in tropical Bourbon casks, followed by 13 years in Ferrand casks. That long second stage connects closely with the Cognac Finish character and gives the rum a clear woody and spicy side, while the fruity notes remain an important part of the profile.

The use of both pot still and column distillation adds breadth to the spirit. Rather than a simple sweet rum, this is a robust molasses-based (…)

Abuelo 12y Two Oaks Incl. Box

In stock

Abuelo 12y Two Oaks is a molasses-based rum from Panama, matured for 12 years and shaped by a clear oak influence. The name already gives a useful clue: this is a rum where wood is part of the identity, not just a background note.

Made through multicolumn distillation and aged in American Oak, it sits at Drankenshop Broekmans among the more mature rums for drinkers who appreciate structure, spice and fruit rather than a heavily sweet style. At 40% alcohol, it presents that aged character in a measured, approachable way.

The emphasis falls on wood, with spice and fruit also clearly present, while sweetness and floral notes remain more restrained. More information about the brand can be found at https://www.ronabuelo.com/

Planteray Mauritius 2013 (Planteray Vintage)

On request only

Planteray Mauritius 2013 is built around a two-stage maturation. Distilled from molasses in Mauritius, it first spends 9 years in bourbon casks in Flic & Flac, before moving to Cognac Ferrand casks in Javrezac, France, for a further 2 years.

That journey gives this Planteray Vintage rum its main point of interest: Mauritian rum shaped further by a cognac cask finish. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce to customers who enjoy seeing how place, time and cask choice can shape the final character of a rum.

At 11 years old and bottled at 46.5%, it has enough presence to carry its fruit, spice and wood influence clearly. With only the last bottles remaining, Mauritius 2013 is also becoming a less common chance to explore (…)

Belize 2014 9y Travell (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

On request only

Belize 2014 9y Travell from Daily Dram is a molasses-based rum distilled at Travellers in Belize. Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023 after 9 years of maturation, it sits in a flavour territory where fruit, spice and oak all have a clear voice.

The rum was distilled in a traditional column style and matured in Virgin Oak, giving the bottling a firm, cask-driven personality. The Nectar bottled it under the Daily Dram label at full cask strength, 65.3%, keeping it close to its original form rather than smoothing everything out.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum that stands out because of its limited nature: a single cask release of only 164 bottles, now down to the last bottles. For drinkers exploring Belize rum with a powerful and distinctive (…)

R L Seale's 10y

In stock

R L Seale's 10y is a Barbados rum with a clear 10-year age statement and a bottling strength of 46%. That combination gives it a more considered feel than a rum chosen purely for easy drinking; it presents itself through origin, age and strength rather than decoration.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits comfortably among rums for customers who like their choice to be anchored in clear details. Barbados gives the bottle its origin, the 10 years give it a defined place in the range, and the 46% strength adds a little more presence than many softer standard bottlings.

Its popularity is easy to understand in that context. R L Seale's 10y is straightforward in the best sense: a named Barbados rum with age, structure and enough substance to make it worth slowing (…)

Blackwell 007 Bond

Blackwell 007 Bond is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled at 40%. The name naturally stands out, yet the bottle is more than its label: it points to a rum style where fruit, spice and wood all have a clear role.

The Bourbon Barrel reference brings a woody frame to the rum, while the mixed distilling style gives the impression of a profile built from several elements rather than one single dominant note. There is some sweetness, but it sits behind the fruit, spice and cask influence rather than taking over.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is one of those bottles that draws attention quickly, especially now that only the last bottles remain. A distinctive Jamaican rum for anyone looking for something with a recognisable name and a straightforward, flavour-led (…)

New Grove 10y

New Grove 10y is a molasses rum from Mauritius, made in a traditional column style and matured for at least ten years. It presents a mature side of Mauritian rum, with enough age to bring depth while keeping a sense of finesse.

The maturation in new French casks and cognac casks gives this cuvée much of its identity. There is structure from the wood, a measured spicy side and a clear fruity core. Bottling at 42% helps keep the rum refined rather than heavy.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers who want to explore Mauritius through a well-aged, elegant style. It has presence, but it remains rounded and composed, with the cask influence supporting rather than overwhelming the fruit.

Takamaka Le Clos Pineau 50cl

On request only

Takamaka Le Clos Pineau is a sugar cane juice rum from the Seychelles, pot still distilled and bottled at 54.8%. The Le Clos series is built around craftsmanship and cask influence, and this release takes its direction from a Pineau de Charente finish, adding a clear layer of wood, spice and fruit to its tropical foundation.

Rather than leaning on an age statement, this rum speaks through style and cask choice. The character suggested here is expressive and layered, with the Seychelles origin bringing the tropical side while the finishing cask adds depth and a more vinous accent. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we appreciate releases like this because they show how versatile sugar cane juice rum can become when the cask treatment is given a central role.

Belize 2007 13y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

On request only

Belize 2007 13y from Daily Dram is a molasses rum with a very clearly defined origin and bottling story. Distilled in Belize in 2007 and bottled in November 2020 by The Nectar, it was drawn from a single bourbon barrel after 13 years of maturation. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one specific cask at one specific point in time.

With only 260 bottles released and an alcoholic strength of 62.6%, this is a rum that keeps close to the cask. The strength gives the bottling a direct, unpolished feel, while the bourbon barrel background helps frame its wood, spice and fruit-driven profile.

Black Tot Last Consignment Mini

Black Tot Last Consignment Mini is a molasses-based rum bottled at 54.3%, so it keeps a firm, full-strength presence rather than being softened into an easy-drinking style. The mini format makes it a compact way to explore this Black Tot release while still retaining its serious character.

Its appeal lies in the way it brings together several elements: a multivintage composition and rum distilled through both pot still and column still methods. That points to a bottle shaped by blending and contrast rather than by a single vintage or one production style.
