Yoichi Aromatic Yeast 2022
In stock
Yoichi Aromatic Yeast 2022 is a Japanese single malt where the name immediately suggests the focus: aroma, detail and a style built around expressive flavour rather than an age statement. The supplied profile points most clearly towards fruit and spice, supported by lighter floral, woody and gently peated touches.
At 48% ABV, it has enough strength to carry that character with confidence. It does not rely on a stated age to explain itself; the interest lies in the specific direction of the release and in the way its aromatic side is presented.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Yoichi bottling that adds depth to a Japanese whisky selection without needing a long technical story. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has that quiet sense of (…)Chichibu Paris 2025 Harajuku X Le Marais Incl. Box

Chichibu Paris 2025 Harajuku X Le Marais is a Japanese single malt with a story that starts before the bottle is even opened. Since 2018, Chichibu, founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2008, has created an annual Paris Edition dedicated to the City of Light. The 2025 release explores the geography and urban identity of Paris and Tokyo, pairing emblematic neighbourhoods from both capitals. Here, Le Marais and Harajuku meet through a colourful pop-style label inspired by Japanese kawaii culture and by postage stamps, suggesting travel and correspondence between two city cultures.
The whisky itself is built from an unusually varied set of casks. The cuvée brings together whiskies aged from five to fourteen years, matured in new French oak, Spanish oak that held sherry, French oak (…)Paul John Christmas Edition 2022

Paul John Christmas Edition 2022 is an Indian single malt whisky with a distinctly seasonal identity. Its name immediately places it in the atmosphere of a festive end-of-year release, while still remaining clearly tied to the Paul John style.
Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character well. The flavour profile points towards a whisky where fruit and spice play the main role, supported by lighter touches of wood, floral notes and a gentle hint of peat.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that stands out through its combination of origin, style and limited availability. It gives the bottle a distinctive presence within the Chichibu range, where the visual concept and the whisky itself are closely connected.
The whisky brings together Bourbon Casks, Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads and Virgin American White Oak, with components between 6 and 12 years old. That combination points towards a layered style, with fruit, spice and oak influence all playing a role. At 50.5% ABV, it has enough strength to carry those elements with clarity.

Chichibu Paris 2026 Collection Monet Jaune continues a series that, since 2018, has explored the cultural ties between France and Japan through exclusive releases. This 2026 edition pays tribute to Claude Monet, one hundred years after his death. The connection feels especially fitting: Monet was strongly drawn to Japanese prints and Japanese aesthetics, and the bridge on his estate in Giverny was itself inspired by Japanese architecture.
The yellow label takes its cue from Le Pont Japonais, 1896, reflecting Monet's fascination with light, seasons and shifting impressions. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as more than a Japanese single malt with an artistic label; it is a Chichibu release where the whisky and the cultural reference genuinely support one another.

Chichibu Paris 2026 Collection Monet Rouge is the red release in the Collection Monet 2026, a Japanese single malt that brings together whisky and artistic inspiration in a very deliberate way. The label is inspired by Le Bassin aux Nymphéas 1900, a direct tribute to Monet and his celebrated paintings centred on light and water.
The whisky itself is built around the same Chichibu assemblage: First Fill and Second Fill Bourbon Casks, Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads and Virgin American White Oak, with components aged between 6 and 12 years. That mix gives room for a clearly fruity and spicy profile, while wood, floral notes and a light touch of peat remain in the background rather than taking over.

Expected: 01/11/2026Edradour N° 2 8y is a Highland single malt with a clear commemorative purpose. Signatory Vintage released it to mark Andrew Symington's 40 years in the whisky industry, covering the period from 1986 to 2026. It was created to be tasted alongside its counterpart from Edradour No. 1, making it especially engaging for anyone who enjoys comparing different facets of the same whisky world.
The whisky matured in 1st fill Châteauneuf-du-Pape hogsheads, a cask choice that gives this 8-year-old malt a pronounced wine-cask dimension. The fruit, spice and fine tannic structure sit naturally alongside its cask strength bottling at 57.1%.

Chichibu Paris 2022 is a Japanese single malt with a very clear sense of place within the Chichibu range: a limited release, bottled at 51.5%, matured in a Bourbon Barrel and presented without an age statement.
Only 1,900 bottles were released, and this is marked as a collector's item, with the last bottles now available. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits comfortably among limited editions that reward a slower, more attentive tasting rather than a quick first impression.
The opening is fresh and subtle, shaped by a saline sea breeze and notes of green barley, liquorice, vanilla, candied lemon and Williams pear. With time in the glass, deeper accents appear: cedar, clove, pepper, balm and acacia honey bring a spiced, slightly medicinal dimension.
On the palate it has weight without becoming heavy. Oily peat supports tropical fruit notes of pineapple and banana, alongside beeswax and acacia honey. From there it (…)Deanston 1999 19y Dd (The Nectar Of The Daily Drams)

Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2018 after 19 years of maturation, it was released by independent bottler The Nectar as part of The Nectar of the Daily Drams series.
Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 51%, this is not a whisky shaped for broad uniformity. It is a specific snapshot of Deanston from one individual cask, with only 223 bottles produced. That gives the release a more personal feel than a standard expression, especially for drinkers who enjoy comparing how a distillery can show itself through independent bottlings.

Its character starts with an unusual detail in the malt composition: 99% unpeated malt and just 1% peated malt. That small peated element still makes itself known in the glass, adding smoke and tension without taking over the fruitier, sweeter side of the whisky.
