Orkney 2007 (Berry Bros)

On request only

Orkney 2007 is a Scottish single malt with an appealing element of discretion: the distillery is undisclosed, while the Orkney origin remains the defining clue. In the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, that makes it the kind of whisky that invites attention from drinkers who enjoy exploring provenance without having every expectation set by a familiar distillery name.

Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023, it comes from a single hogshead cask and was released at cask strength. That gives the whisky a very direct identity: one cask, one bottling, no broad blending into a standard house style. At 63.5% alcohol, it clearly keeps the force of the cask intact.

With the last bottles now indicated, this release carries the feel of a finite snapshot rather than an (…)

Caol Ila 2017 9y Rum Cask Finish (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

On request only

Caol Ila 2017 9y Rum Cask Finish shows the idea behind Douglas Laing's Paradise In Smoke Collection very clearly: take the coastal smoke of Islay and place it beside a warmer, less expected influence. The whisky still speaks unmistakably of Caol Ila, with maritime character, refined peat smoke and a salty coastal edge.

The finish in a single Barbados rum cask adds layers of tropical fruit and gentle sweetness without pushing the distillery style into the background. That is what makes this release engaging: the rum cask influence brings warmth and fruit, while the Islay side keeps its shape.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Douglas Laing Old Particular stands out for drinkers who enjoy Caol Ila but are curious to see it from a slightly different angle. Drawn (…)

Remarkable Regional Malts6x5cl (Epicurean, Timorous Beastie, Scallywag, Gauldros, Rock Island, Big Pe (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)

In stock

This Douglas Laing gift set brings together the six core Remarkable Regional Malts in 5 cl bottles. Rock Island, The Gauldrons, The Epicurean, Timorous Beastie, Scallywag and Big Peat each represent one of Scotland's whisky regions: Islands, Campbeltown, Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside and Islay.

Its charm lies in comparison rather than in one single house style. The set lets you move through six takes on blended malt Scotch whisky, each built around a regional identity. With no age statement, the focus remains on style, origin and variety.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of selection we like for curious whisky drinkers: compact, well thought out and easy to share. It also makes a gift with a clear tasting story, especially now that only the last (…)

Six Isles Cask Strength Incl. Box

In stock

Six Isles Cask Strength is a Scottish blended malt bottled at cask strength, at 58%. It shows The Six Isles in a more forceful register: intense, direct and deliberately uncompromised.

The name points to the six Scottish islands behind the whisky's identity. In this Cask Strength release, that island-driven impression comes through clearly, with smoke, sea air, saltiness and spice given plenty of room, while fruit and wood add supporting depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a blended malt for drinkers who appreciate a firmer, more energetic style. The high strength is part of the experience rather than a side note, giving the whisky its concentrated, oily and outspoken feel.

The aroma is bold and forceful, with pronounced smoke, sea (…)

Symbiosis 2 Artist 15 (La Maison Du Whisky - Artist Collection) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Symbiosis 2 Artist 15 is a Scottish blended malt from La Maison du Whisky's Artist Collection, built around a clear idea: to explore the breadth of Islay peat through the meeting of Bunnahabhain and Caol Ila.

For this second Symbiosis release, two Bunnahabhain parcels from 2013 and 2014 were combined with three Caol Ila vintages from 2014, 2015 and 2018. After seven years of maturation, the whisky was further refined in a new toasted oak barrel and bottled at its natural strength of 50.5% alcohol.

The appeal lies in the way the components speak to each other. Bunnahabhain brings an earthier, more refined peat character, while Caol Ila contributes a maritime, smoky side. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we like to explain slowly: not just (…)

Isle Of Skye 30y Incl. Box

In stock

Isle Of Skye 30y is very much a whisky shaped by time. As a 30-year-old blended malt, it carries the quiet depth of long maturation, with peat described as soft and enveloping rather than forceful. It sits in the background, adding depth without taking over.

The charm here lies in maturity and restraint. Precious wood, cocoa, dark fruit and rare spice notes give the whisky a contemplative feel, making it a bottle to open when the moment deserves patience and attention.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as more than just an aged blend; it is a Scottish whisky for drinkers who appreciate softness, detail and a finish that lingers between sweetness, smoke and minerality.

The aroma is broad and layered, with plums, cocoa, soft peat and precious (…)

Isle Of Skye 25y Incl. Box

In stock

Isle Of Skye 25y is a Scottish blended whisky shaped by a full quarter-century of maturation. That long ageing gives it a more settled, mature voice, with old whisky notes sitting alongside a measured smoky presence.

The appeal here lies in its combination of age and restraint. The supplied description points to dried fruit, wax and leather, with the characteristic smoke of Islay adding depth rather than taking over completely. It feels like a whisky to approach slowly, glass in hand, allowing the darker and more mature tones to unfold.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, older blends such as this occupy a particular place in the range because they show how time can bring seriousness and nuance to a blended whisky. Isle Of Skye 25y is best understood as a mature, (…)

Isle Of Skye 21y Incl. Box

In stock

Isle Of Skye 21y is a Scottish blended whisky built around maturity and patience. After 21 years of ageing, it shows a deeper aromatic register, where gentle smoke meets fruit and fine spice rather than taking over the glass.

There is a quiet style to this whisky. The peat is soft, the fruit leans towards ripe and candied notes, and the wood influence sits in the background as part of the whole. It is a whisky to spend time with, especially when the occasion calls for something more reflective.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for special moments: not loud or forceful, but layered, mature and rewarding when tasted slowly.

The aroma is elegant and deep, showing raisins, beeswax, soft peat and fine spices. On the palate it is (…)

Isle Of Skye 8y

In stock

Isle Of Skye 8y is a Scottish blended whisky with its island origin clearly signalled in the name. With 8 years of age and maturation in oak casks, it sits in a classic Scotch whisky setting while carrying a gentle sense of Skye's coastal identity.

What stands out here is the way the profile is spread across several modestly present elements. Floral, woody, spicy, fruity, salty and lightly peated notes are all indicated, but none is presented as dominant. That gives the whisky a measured, approachable shape rather than a forceful single-note character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Isle Of Skye 8y fits well for customers looking for a Scottish blend with a touch of island personality. It is a whisky for calm exploration: light peat, a saline accent and oak (…)

Shizuoka 2x20cl (Asta Morris)

Only 3 left in stock!

Shizuoka 2x20cl is a Japanese single malt presented as a gift pack, with two 20 cl bottles that make it feel more like a focused discovery set than a standard full-size bottle. Bottled at cask strength, 55.5%, it carries a more direct and concentrated presentation of the whisky.

What stands out here is the breadth of the profile rather than one dominant flavour direction. Floral, fruity, spicy, woody, salty and lightly peated elements are all present in a gentle way, giving the whisky several points of interest without pushing it into an extreme style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Shizuoka release we would place in front of someone who enjoys exploring smaller formats with real substance, or who is looking for a whisky gift with a more (…)

Islay 2014 12y Fanatical About Flavour (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

On request only

Islay 2014 12y Fanatical About Flavour is one of those bottlings that immediately suggests a more adventurous side of single malt. The distillery remains undisclosed, yet the origin is clear: Islay, Scotland, with a whisky built around smoke, saline touches and firm cask strength presence.

The striking element here is the Mezcal cask finish. It draws an unexpected but natural line between Islay peat smoke and the earthy, mineral side linked in the product information to Mexican agave spirit. Rather than presenting smoke alone, this release brings grilled citrus, tropical fruit, peat and mineral accents into the same glass.

Douglas Laing bottled it under Old Particular at natural cask strength, 57.2%. As a single cask release limited to just 217 bottles (…)

Ruadh Mhor 2011 14y (Berry Bros Odyssey Range)

In stock

Ruadh Mhor 2011 14y is a Highland single malt with a very clear sense of identity. The name means Big Red in Gaelic and refers to the heavily peated spirit made at Glenturret. In this Berry Bros. & Rudd release, peat takes the lead, yet there is a sweeter foundation underneath that gives the whisky more shape than raw intensity alone.

Drawn from cask #284, a sherry hogshead, this 14-year-old single cask was bottled at cask strength at 60.6%. Only 282 bottles were produced, placing it firmly among the more limited releases in the Berry Bros Odyssey Range. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that rewards drinkers who enjoy individual cask character and a bold, unpolished presentation.

What makes it stand out is the way earthy peat, (…)

Bowmore 9y Incl. Box

In stock

Bowmore 9y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a measured, understated style. The 9-year age statement gives it a clear place in the range of malt whisky: still lively, yet with enough maturation to bring its different accents together.

Its appeal lies in the fact that no single element dominates. The Islay origin is reflected in light peated and salty touches, while fruit, floral notes, gentle spice and wood remain present in a subtle way. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an Islay malt for customers who appreciate the island signature without looking for an overly forceful whisky.

Bottled at 40%, Bowmore 9y keeps a smooth and approachable profile while retaining its sense of place. It is a single malt built around nuance rather than volume.

Peated Malts Of Distinction (Ardmore Legacy, Connemara, Bowmore 12y & Laphroaig 10y) 4x5cl

Not available for shipping

Peated Malts Of Distinction is built around a simple but enjoyable idea: four 5 cl measures that let you explore peated malt whisky side by side. The set brings together Ardmore Legacy, Connemara, Bowmore 12y and Laphroaig 10y in a gift pack, making it more of a tasting journey than a single-bottle choice.

Peat is the main thread here, clearly present without standing alone. Around it sit lighter notes of fruit, spice, wood, floral touches and a salty edge, giving the set enough variation to make comparison genuinely worthwhile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a thoughtful option for someone who enjoys discovering differences within a smoky whisky style, or for gifting a compact introduction to peated malts. With the last bottles now in stock, it is (…)

Starward Unexpeated

On request only

Starward Unexpeated is an Australian single malt with a deliberately unexpected twist. Rather than focusing on an age statement, it draws attention to its Islay finish, adding a light thread of peat and salinity to a whisky where spice remains the most pronounced element.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that shows how a finish can shift the tone of a single malt without turning it into something overwhelmingly smoky. The Islay influence is present, but measured, sitting alongside gentle fruit, wood and floral notes.

Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to carry that character clearly. With only the last bottles remaining, this is a release with limited availability in our selection.

The English Whisky Company 12y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

On request only

The English Whisky Company 12y is a fine example of how compelling single malt from Great Britain can be when given time to mature. Aged for 12 years in a bourbon barrel and bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection, it feels focused on the whisky itself rather than on decoration or spectacle.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for the combination of an English single malt identity, independent bottling and a mature age statement. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its profile, with spice as the clearest element and lighter traces of wood, fruit, floral notes, saltiness and gentle peat in support.

With the last bottles now in our selection, it is the kind of whisky that rewards a curious drinker looking beyond the most (…)

Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish Incl. Box

In stock

Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish is built around a clear meeting point: Islay single malt on one side, a Bordeaux cask finish on the other. The whisky keeps its Scottish island identity, while the Bordeaux Finish adds another layer to a 14-year-old Bowmore.

What stands out here is the way the profile is shaped. Peat and a salty accent are present, but they do not take over completely. Spice has the stronger voice, with lighter touches of fruit, floral notes and wood sitting around it. That gives the whisky a more layered impression than a purely peat-driven Islay malt.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of Bowmore as especially interesting for drinkers who enjoy Islay, yet want to explore what a wine cask finish can bring to a single malt. Bottled at 43%, (…)

Bowmore 15y Sherry Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Bowmore 15y Sherry shows a richer side of this Islay single malt. It spends 15 years maturing in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by a sherry finish, giving it extra depth and maturity compared with the 12-year-old expression it builds upon.

The sherry influence adds weight and darker sweetness, but it does not push the Islay character into the background. Gentle smoke, a light salty edge, spice and wood all sit within the same frame, making the whisky feel layered rather than simply sweet.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bowmore we would introduce to someone looking for a fuller style within the Sherry Oak range. Bottled at 43%, it remains approachable in strength while offering a more developed, mature and spice-led drinking (…)

Islay Mist 21y

On request only

Islay Mist 21y is a Scottish blended whisky built around age, restraint and subtle detail. At 21 years old, it sits in a more mature part of the blend category, the kind of whisky that invites a slower approach rather than a quick first impression.

Its profile is not described as heavily wood-led. Instead, the character is shaped by light touches of fruit, floral notes, gentle spice, a saline edge and a measured hint of peat smoke. Nothing is pushed too far, giving the whisky a calm and understated feel.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle that draws attention from customers looking for an older Scotch blend with a soft smoky accent. With only the last bottles remaining, this 21-year-old Islay Mist also carries a quiet sense of scarcity.

Six Isles Rum Finish

On request only

Six Isles Rum Finish brings together the coastal freshness of the Scottish islands and the warmer, sweeter influence of Caribbean rum casks. The result is a Scotch blended malt with a sunnier edge, where island character meets notes that feel more exotic and spiced.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to present when someone is looking for smoke without heaviness, and sweetness without becoming overly soft. The rum finish adds brown sugar, ripe fruit and molasses-like depth, while a gentle salty note keeps the whisky lively.

Bottled at 48%, Six Isles Rum Finish has enough strength to carry its creamy, warm style. It remains recognisably Scottish, yet the rum cask finishing gives it a more adventurous and inviting personality.

Arran Peated 2014 10y (Adelphi)

In stock

Arran Peated 2014 10y shows a more smoky, forceful side of Arran while still keeping the soft touch of bourbon maturation close at hand. This single malt from the Isle of Arran matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, giving its peated island character a gentler vanilla-led counterpoint.

As a single cask release bottled at cask strength, 57.1%, it feels deliberately specific rather than broadly polished. Only 230 bottles were drawn from this cask, making it a focused snapshot of one barrel's development. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued because they let the cask speak clearly, without hiding the details that make it individual.

The peat is clearly present, supported by a malty core, a lightly salty edge and a long dry smoky finish. It (…)

Ardmore 2000 14y (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

On request only

Ardmore 2000 14y is a Highland single malt with a very specific identity: distilled in May 2000, bottled in May 2014, and drawn from a single refill barrel. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this Douglas Laing Old Particular release captures one individual cask after 14 years of maturation.

The refill barrel points to a more restrained wood influence, allowing the spirit's own profile to remain visible. The flavour profile is gently spread across floral, fruity, spicy, woody and lightly peated elements, with no single direction taking over.

Only 176 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now indicated, this Ardmore has a particularly focused place at Drankenshop Broekmans: a limited single cask Scotch whisky, clearly rooted in time, cask (…)
